The Eight Precepts of Practice
Taishang Laojun regarded the Tao as the foundation of all things, but Buddhism praised the Jade Emperor as the leader of the gods, ruling the three worlds of heaven, earth and man, which made the founder of Taoism Taishang Laojun displeased, so he hinted that Bajie went to the Three Realms to see what was going on.
Because of his selfish desires, Bajie angered Bai Xuanzi, the eighteen-generation grandson of the Dragon King of the East China Sea, and provoked the Peony Fairy, the eight-generation descendant of Lu Dongbin, causing him to be in constant trouble in the Taoist realm and the Buddha realm.
In order to seek the true meaning of the Tao, Bajie was kind and charitable along the way, devoted himself to cultivation, and became acquainted with the prodigy Wu Yonggang in Luopan Mountain.
In the Lingxu Inn, he encountered the bewitchment of the demonization of the beauty of the Ming Sect's disciple Lingxu Pavilion, the head of the Lingxu Pavilion, which seriously interfered with the judgment of the Eight Precepts on the Tao, Buddha, and Dharma in their practice.
Since then, there has been no peace in the Three Realms, and there is no wise man. Bajie has become the troublemaker of the Three Realms, and also the troublemaker.
