The legend of Geng Gong, the lonely man of the Peerless Domain
The story of the thirteen warriors of Geng Gong of the Eastern Han Dynasty returning to Yumen is the Chinese version of "saving soldiers", shocking the world, crying ghosts and gods, iron bones, and heroic spirit. Historically, Geng Gong was a weak enemy, with 2,000 troops, facing 100,000 Huns, unswervingly, strategizing, and holding on to Shule for hundreds of days, creating one hero after another legend, and his deeds made people's blood boil and resonate. Yue Fei, a famous general of the Northern Song Dynasty, wrote passionately in "Man Jianghong": Zhuang is hungry for Hulu meat, laughing and thirsty for Xiongnu blood. This allusion comes from the famous general Geng Gong of the Eastern Han Dynasty who insisted on Shule. This novel is different, it neither describes a complete historical dynasty, nor does it portray the life span of a hero, but only from the perspective of a certain historical deed, to show the spirit of a national hero, and show the blood and glory of a dynasty.
