The location of the reservoir is very delicate, next to the Yabulai Mountain, with the Tengger Desert in the east, the Badain Jaran Desert in the west, and the central part of Su Province in the southwest, which can meet the needs of development in many places.

Professor Chen, who made a breakthrough in finding water in the desert area, found that the composition of the gushing fresh water was strikingly similar to that of Lake Baikal.
