Chapter 704: About the Dandelion's Past
For Master Mingkong, the previous experience was shocking.
The effect of a stick of incense is enough for a year of diligent cultivation, or even more!
It was horrific to him!
If you can light such an incense stick every day when you are cultivating......
What the result would be, Master Mingkong couldn't even imagine.
It's not that he lacks imagination.
It's that the result is too beautiful for him to think about.
My heart is blazing.
The heart was quickly indifferent.
In Master Mingkong's heart, the transformation of the two emotions was actually only instantaneous.
Chen Jushi's incense was obviously obtained by accident, and through a short exchange, it was obvious that he obviously did not know the weight of this incense.
But Master Mingkong knows!
As a cultivator.
As a practitioner with a certain level of practice.
In the time just now, he has already used his own personal experience to know the effect of this incense.
And that effect can only be described by one word in the Buddhist scriptures.
Incredible!
Before that, it was really impossible for him to believe that such a thing existed in the world.
Today, however, he saw.
Amitabha!
My Buddha is compassionate!
But......
Based on the principle of reciprocity, Chen Jushi took out the incense, and he took out the small tomato.
This is actually not equal, the effect of fragrance is much more than that of small tomatoes. But the tomato was already the best thing he could come up with.
And the acquisition of his little tomato was also by chance.
Even, before experiencing the incense, he also used the words "incredible" to evaluate the little tomato.
And when these two incredible things merged together, the inexplicable familiarity that Master Mingkong already had in his heart suddenly magnified.
It's like a bolt of lightning.
These two ......
Will it be, will it ...... Could it be from the same place?
This speculation is not groundless, let alone a blind judgment by Master Mingkong with his eyes open.
But.
The first reason is that the fragrance of the two has a certain strange commonality, which is difficult to describe in words.
The second reason is that Master Mingkong has passed the age of the sixtieth year, and after so many years, he has not eaten rice for nothing, and he has a lot of experience.
At least, much more abundant than most.
The descendants of the Hinayana school of Buddhism have always had the saying of "three one", which means "one scripture, two meditations, and three walks." ”
He is familiar with the scriptures and knows the sutras, laws, and treatises of the Hinayana school well.
Pure practice, in fact, his branch of the school, of course, cultivates the four meditations and eight determinations, but the four meditations and eight determinations are the general framework of Buddhist practice.
For each stage, one has to end the meditation and walk once.
This "walking" is actually a broad sense, to keep the monastery and care about all aspects of the monastery, it is to walk, to travel through the mountains and rivers, to experience the state of the world, is also to walk, and to travel with all kinds of true and false cultivation inside and outside the church, it is also walking.
From the beginning of the novice to being accepted as a disciple by his teacher, for almost half a century, Master Mingkong strictly adhered to the Trinity Dharma.
Today, his achievements and his vision are no longer comparable to ordinary people, so much so that they are not comparable to ordinary cultivators.
He has also seen many things that assist in his cultivation.
If nothing else, let's just talk about incense sticks, the incense sticks he made himself, are leaning on this path.
It's not Master Mingkong boasting, of course, he can't boast to anyone, the incense he makes really has the effect of purifying the heart and purifying the mind.
However.
Something like a tomato completely broke his previous imagination.
That's just out of nowhere!
Didn't come from.
For no reason.
It's like a mountain peak, rising abruptly from the ground, high into the sky, but not to mention the other mountains around, not even the base of this mountain!
It's another incredible thing.
Master Mingkong has a wide range of contacts, many of whom are true cultivators, and similarly, there are also all kinds of people who are quite powerful in the secular world.
But after a wide range of investigations, Master Mingkong couldn't find out where this little tomato came from, and he didn't even have one! Later, he simply stopped looking for it, and only focused on climbing on the dandelion.
According to him and some other true cultivators, if the other party really wants to do something, dandelion is probably the only way to communicate.
And since the other party erected the dandelion with great fanfare, it must be sooner or later, there must be a move!
Otherwise, why bother?
Just like his own identity. When the teacher went west, all the world could know was that he was the abbot of Mingde Temple, and no one knew anything about his branch. In the future, if there are no accidents, only his disciples will know.
How can it be preached?
And what reason is there to proclaim?
And behind the little tomato, behind the dandelion, the level of the other party is not that the Mingkong mage is arrogant, but really, much higher than him.
At that level, if you don't want to do something in this world, how can there be dandelions!
And the benefits, dandelion tea, mulberry leaf tea, small tomatoes, and lotus leaf tea, in the eyes of Venerable Mingkong and some fellow practitioners, are more like a ladder of advancement specially prepared for "some people" by a compassionate power in this era of the end of the Dharma.
Dandelion certification system.
Level 0, one to three, without any benefits.
At the fourth level, dandelion tea, mulberry leaf tea, and small tomatoes appeared.
At the fifth level, lotus leaf tea appeared.
But Master Mingkong had only tasted lotus leaf tea, and the only time he had it was with a fellow practitioner who had a fairly good relationship.
Although he had been exposed to some plants and trees and some knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine because of incense making, he did not specialize in this in the end.
So even if you reorient yourself to study after knowing Dandelion, and you are brave and diligent all the way, you can only pass the third and fourth levels, and you can't pass it for the time being.
He had a small amount of dandelion tea and cherry tomatoes on hand, which were given to him by his initiate.
Level 6, what benefits will appear?
So far, in all his relationships, the highest in the dandelion certification system is the initiate, the fifth level, and there is no second place.
And even that fellow practitioner was also stuck at the fifth level.
Level 1 to Level 3 is beginner.
Levels four to six are practical.
That is, at the level of "utilization", there is welfare.
So, what are the benefits at the "mastery" level from seven to nine?
If the incense that Chen Jushi brought before was also from the same place, then could it be the welfare of level six, or the level seven or above?
However, it seems unlikely that there will be a level 7 or higher.
Level 4 or above can join the "Dandelion Chinese Medicine Society", and Master Mingkong wants to strive to achieve this in the next stage, and according to the initiates who have already joined it, so far, it seems that there is no level 7 or above.
It's the sixth level, and it's only known, but it's never seen.
"Chen Jushi, have you heard of it...... Dandelion?"
His mind was floating slowly, and Master Mingkong also spoke leisurely, and said to Father Chen.
