When he saw this, he asked them why they had gone and returned. After Ah Ao and Jia Ye put their hands together and saluted Rulai, they said, "The disciples have something important to report. "Rulai was busy asking what was going on, so anxious. Ah Wei stepped forward and whispered: "According to my teaching, according to the report of the spies inserted in the heavenly court, the three Yuan Shi Tianzun reprimanded the Jade Emperor in front of all the immortals, and his family education was inadequate, which damaged the majesty of the heavenly court and corrupted the atmosphere of the immortal world. Then Geye explained the whole story in detail to Rulai: "Back then, the Jade Emperor was scolded by the Venerable Sanqing because his sister had an affair with a mortal and gave birth to a boy and a girl. It is said that the Jade Emperor has no way to discipline him, so that this kind of thing will make Heavenly Court lose face. If the Jade Emperor does not discipline him strictly, sooner or later the Heavenly Court will become indistinguishable from the mortal world, and the two worlds of immortals and mortals will once again become one. At that time, heaven and earth will once again return to the period of great chaos of people, gods and demons before the Shang Dynasty. The Jade Emperor was so ashamed that he was embarrassed by the three Heavenly Venerables, and immediately ordered his sister and the two children to be captured back to Heaven and issued an edict prohibiting marriage and childbirth. If there is a violator, they will be tied up and slashed Sendai. The light is five thunderbolts to sharpen the axe and chisel, and the heavy is to shave the fairy bones, behead the public and scatter their souls. forcibly let the order of the two worlds of immortals and mortals settle down. But a few days ago, the niece of the Jade Emperor, the 'Three Holy Mother', actually stole a man surnamed Liu from the mortal world to marry and have a child privately. After being known by the 'Sanqing', the 'Sanqing' added up the two things of the Jade Emperor's relatives who privately went down to earth to marry and have children with mortals, and scolded the Jade Emperor again, so that the Jade Emperor couldn't get off the stage, and he was even more embarrassed than last time. After the Jade Emperor returned to the palace, he was furious and threw something on the ground. He ordered Yang Jian to kill the mortal and the baby boy in the lower realm, and bring the Three Holy Mothers back to Heaven for execution. But because the immortals interceded for the Three Holy Mother, saying that the Three Holy Mothers had done a lot of good things for the Three Realms and accumulated a lot of merits for the Heavenly Court, please think twice. In the end, for some reason, the Jade Emperor imprisoned the Three Holy Mothers in the belly of a large mountain, so that they could never leave there, and laid an enchantment and sent people to guard it. ”

After listening to this, Rulai's face was very ugly, and he scolded: "What does the matter of the wind and moon in the heavenly court have to do with the teachings of my sacrifice to save people. These things you have spoken of have tarnished my ears. This seat asks you to pay attention to the state of affairs in the heavenly court, how do you two do things?" Ah Ao smiled and explained to Ruo: "Buddha, don't underestimate this matter, there are a lot of strange things in this matter. If this matter were placed on other immortals, it might be a trivial matter, but if it happened to the Jade Emperor, it would be a big deal. Think about it, what is the identity of the Jade Emperor. That's the leader of the immortals. He was reprimanded in public by Sanqing and his face was completely lost, would he feel better? Guess what the Jade Emperor would think in his heart. He will inevitably have a grudge against Sanqing, and now there are seven fairies and weaver girls who have secretly descended to the mortal world to combine with mortals; The gods from all walks of life walk around on weekdays when they have nothing to do, and white-collar workers are lulu, and some immortals also fight for trivial things; What's more, in order to fight for the world's incense offerings. Such a situation can be greatly beneficial to the situation of our Buddhism. ”

Rulai asked: "The infighting in the Heavenly Court of Xianmen, what does it have to do with me?" In fact, there are some things that Rulai knows better than Ah Ao and Jia Ye, but he just wants to say it through the mouth of Ah Ao and Jia Ye. In this way, if something is wrong at that time, the blame can be completely shifted to the two of them.

All status and benefits. Therefore, the Jade Emperor will not sit still, and must be thinking about how to resist. This is a good opportunity for our Buddhism to expand eastward. Because he is surrounded by people from the 'Three Qings', there is no one available at all. In this way, he will definitely use the outside forces. If you reach a consensus with the Jade Emperor at this time. Not only will we be able to get rid of the 'Three Qings', but we will also be able to use this to threaten the Jade Emperor to agree to our request for eastward expansion. ”

Rulai asked again: "Once such a matter of mixing with the Heavenly Court is revealed, do you know what kind of situation it will put my Buddhism into?! At that time, how will the people, gods, and demons in the Three Realms and Six Realms think of us?"

Ah Ao also explained: "Who in the world does not know that my Buddhism is based on the doctrine of 'all beings are equal, righteous self-sacrifice, and harmony is precious'. We can first negotiate with the immortals of Heavenly Court on the grounds of 'friendship with neighbors and learning the art of Heavenly Court politics'. If it succeeds, it will be happy, and it is reasonable if it does not succeed. However, with the self-esteem of the people of the East, they will definitely like to be praised by others. Therefore, we can start from this aspect first, and get close to the Jade Emperor first. When the time comes, we can show the Jade Emperor that our position is on his side, but it must also be rewarded. After all, if he can't find anyone to help him, he will have nothing, so he shared some of our benefits from Yuan Shi Tianzun and them, and it is not his own, so there is no need to hold on to it. I think he knows that himself. I think we can be sure that we can be seventy percent, two percent is that the Jade Emperor is stupid as a dictator, and one percent is that he was completely fooled and stupid by the three Yuan Shi Tianzun. ”

After pretending to ponder for a long time, he asked, "Then do you have any good plans or proposals?" At this time, Gaye said: "The disciple thinks that the soldiers should be divided into two routes, one group of men and horses should go to negotiate with the Heavenly Court, and the other group of people and horses will secretly go to the East Land to learn about the customs and culture of the East Land. ”

When he heard Ah Ao and Gaye analyze and suggest this, he also became interested in this matter, and asked, "Then who do you think should be responsible for these two things?" "This ......" Ah Ao and Gaye began to feel embarrassed in their hearts. There are countless capable people in Buddhism, and recommending this will offend that, and recommending that will offend this. It's not good to say that no one is good.

At this time, Rulai spoke again: "But it doesn't hurt to say. This is a major event related to the development of our Buddhism. Don't be jealous for fear of offending someone or for fear of resentment. Er remained silent. If we let the opportunity pass away from us like this, then we will be sinners of Buddhism. After hearing this, Ah Da and Jia Ye's faces changed in shock. The meaning of Rulai is very obvious: if you say that you are offending people, if you don't say it, you are a big sinner who has affected the development of Buddhism. This kind of thing is more serious than talking. Ah Ao and Gaye glanced at each other, and they both understood that this was a matter of success if they didn't succeed.

Ah Ao pondered for a moment and said, "The disciple proposes that Guanyin Bodhisattva and Dragon Descending Arhat be responsible for negotiating with the Heavenly Court and understanding the customs, customs, and cultural thoughts. Rulai asked, "Why them?" Ah Wei explained, "The first is to negotiate with the Heavenly Court. If you send all of you Vajra to negotiate with the Heavenly Court, it will make the unknown Heavenly Court feel that our sect is a muscular, simple-minded, and mighty and reckless person, which will damage the image of my sect in their hearts; And all of you arhats are pure minds and people who have no desires and have no other desires, and they lack experience in dealing with people, so I am afraid that it will affect the negotiations between our two religions. And all Buddhas are supreme powers, and if the Venerable Buddha goes to negotiate with Heaven for the first time, it will seem that my religion is inferior; And the image of the bodhisattvas, their wisdom, and their knowledge are perfect. Especially Guanyin Bodhisattva, she rescues suffering in the mortal world, and knows a lot of principles and ways to behave in the world and treat people and things. Therefore, the disciple recommended to the Buddha that Guanyin Bodhisattva would explain the teachings on my behalf and negotiate with the heavenly court. The second is to be responsible for understanding the customs, culture and ideas of Dongtu. The reason why the disciple recommended the Dragon Descending Arhat to be responsible is because the Dragon Descending Arhat has been nurtured and taught by our religion culture for a long time, and will not be affected by the ideology and culture of foreign religions. Moreover, the Dragon Descending Arhat is the leader of my martial arts school, both civil and military, with strong learning ability and strong adaptability. Therefore, based on these circumstances and the need to deal with them, I believe that this time Avalokiteshvara and the Dragon Descending Arhat should be in charge of these two important tasks respectively. ”

After listening to Ah Ao's recommendation, Rulai turned his head and asked Gaya's opinion and suggestion: "What do you think?" Gaya's opinion is mostly different from A's' opinion and suggestion. Gāya thought for a moment, straightened things out, and said, "The disciple believes that Guanyin Bodhisattva should not be responsible for negotiating with the Heavenly Court. As far as the disciples know, the people of Dongtu are not patriarchals, even immortals. Therefore, the disciple recommended Manjushri and Puxian Bodhisattva to go to heaven to negotiate with them on my behalf. And when you go to the lower realm of the East to understand the customs, human geography, and ideology and morality, the disciples recommend your second disciple 'Venerable Golden Cicada' to the Buddha. Venerable Jin Chan has been in my Buddhism for a long time, and he has won the true transmission of the Buddha, and in terms of the purpose of Buddhism, I am also among the best among the people I teach. However, Venerable Jin Chan, he has never made any contribution to our religion since he joined the sect. This is very unconvincing. If this mission is completed, everyone will be convinced, and everyone will agree that the superior treatment that Venerable Jin Cicada has received is deserved. I don't want to be hard to convince the public. And it will also show your selflessness Buddha. Because this mission is very dangerous for those of us who have no or only a little knowledge of the East Soil. What are the dangers of being in such an unfamiliar place, we are completely impossible to know, and we are not surprised. And if you let your own disciples go to learn about spying, it is the best way to show your selflessness. Moreover, this is also an opportunity for Venerable Jin Cicada to make great contributions. If we can get good information about our expansion into the Eastern Territory, then Venerable Golden Cicada's status in the hearts of our sect will be greatly enhanced. If we don't get it, at least we can understand the customs, human geography and moral ideas of the East Soil, which will help us plan our next move. Gaya just said, not noticing at all that when he mentioned the golden cicada, Rulai's face changed three times, and his gaze became very cold. This is just a change in an instant, and in the blink of an eye, Rulai has changed back to the appearance of kind eyebrows. But this change was noticed by Ah Ao on the side, but when he wanted to remind Gaye, he was powerless. He was afraid that Rulai would blame him for being troubled, and if he had opinions or grudges against him, he would find something to take revenge on him afterwards. After all, in Buddhism, not everything is peaceful.

After Gaya finished speaking, it took a while for Rulai to calm down his emotions. He said, "What you say is very reasonable, and I will make a decision after careful consideration." After the next opening of the altar and the teachings of the scriptures, we will consult with the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, Vajras, Buddhas, monks, monks, etc. If your proposal is more meritorious than my teaching, this seat will also reward you for your meritorious deeds. Stand back. Seeing that Rulai had spoken like this, Ah Da and Jia Ye had no choice but to salute and slowly withdraw from the hall before turning around and leaving.

When Ah Tai and Gaye left, the smile on Rulai's face gradually disappeared and turned into a sad face. People who live too long tend to recall the past. If you think of your own life experience, all the experiences from being the prince of Tianzhu to the current leader of the Buddha's religion. At the beginning, in order to baptize, sublimate and liberate the souls of the people of Tianzhu, he pondered hard under the Bodhi tree, and finally realized Buddhism under the tree and founded Buddhism. Then, with his own ability, he recruited people to join him, and recruited many disciples to make Buddhism stronger. But these are not as good as the memories of the first time I took in an apprentice. At the beginning, his first apprentice was also Tianzi smart and drew inferences. But later, he still walked on the crooked path of the demon. The disciple actually said that what I did was contrary to my teachings that "all beings are equal", and he dared to accuse me in front of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, Vajras, and others, saying that I should not subdue the Asura clan, but should annihilate them, and so on. In the end, he had to lock the astray apprentice in the Siguo Cave and let him think about it face the wall. But he still didn't repent, and every day he said nonsense about me, "This seat coerces and lures people to join Buddhism"...... There are all ants under this seat, no beings are equal, as long as this seat thinks whoever is good, who is right, good ......" and so on. In the end, there was really no way, this seat could only clean the portal with his own hands and beat him to the ground. After many years, I inadvertently found a young man named "Su Bodhi". His spiritual roots and posture are even better than the first apprentice in this seat. The heart of the disciples, who had been dead for many years, suddenly came to life again. In order to warn himself not to repeat the mistakes of the past, and to remind himself that this young man's talent is rare in the world, this seat gave him the Dharma name "Golden Cicada", which means "Golden Cicada Shedding Its Shell". In Buddhism, we don't teach him to eliminate evil and punish adultery, but only to do good and do good, and to hide half and half, so that he doesn't fully understand the content of the Dharma, and in the future, like the first disciple of this seat, he will find the contrast between reality and the teachings of Buddhism. But who knew that this golden cicada was indeed extremely smart, and he could be self-taught and self-taught. He asked all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, Vajra, etc., on his own, but none of them dared to say anything. Because I gave a gag order. Later, he walked out of the Da Lei Yin Temple under his own pretext, and used what he had seen and heard combined with the teachings of my teachings to think about it repeatedly, and actually let him realize the Buddhism I had hidden, and even some of the opinions were inferior to me. After so many years, his Dharma scriptures are almost catching up with me. If this continues, he will surpass me and become the first person in Buddhism. At that point, I'll probably have to give him this position. But I would never allow that to happen. Buddhism is the foundation of Buddhism that I have worked so hard to create, all this is mine, I am the supreme, you are just a group of good-for-nothing ants in my eyes, and everything you have is given by me. If you hadn't been of any use to me, I would have killed you all. How dare you want to take my place......

The more Rulai thought about it, the more angry he became, his demeanor became more and more crazy, and the expression on his face became more and more hideous, and he did not have the kind eyebrows and kind eyes he had before. The terrifying aura emanating from his body startled the birds and beasts around the Great Thunder Yin Temple in panic. This terrifying aura could not be calmed down for a long time.

After Ah Ao and Jia Ye left the Great Lei Yin Temple, they left in the clouds without their lives. Ah Ao was just frightened by Rulai's look and murderous eyes, and he is still frightened. He told Gaya everything he had just seen in the temple. Gaya also broke out in a cold sweat when he heard this. They also gradually remembered how the eldest disciple of Rulai died. The words that the eldest disciple said at the beginning are still echoing in everyone's ears, but everyone is afraid of ending up with the same fate and dare not mention it.

Ah Da and Jia Ye are also speculating whether Rulai has any dissatisfaction with the golden cicada and whether they said the wrong thing just now. In the following days, they lived every day in fear, they didn't dare to say much, and their spirits gradually deteriorated. Their situation did not improve until Nyorai opened the altar again to chant and preach the Dharma.
