Chapter 346: Leaving (Thanks to Super Silver Alliance Ksg and Phantom Feather)
"How could he be?" Hermione found a little incomprehensible as she watched a living troll suddenly turn into dust in front of her.
"I think he's controlled by the Gusyas tree. Therefore, once the Gusyas tree inside is burned, he will not be able to continue to live in this world. If we hadn't killed the two treemen, they would have ended up just like this troll," Alan speculated.
After waiting outside the cave for a long time, the sound of the fire burning and crackling inside gradually stopped.
After waiting for a while, Alan listened carefully, and there was silence inside.
"I'll go in and have a look. Eren walked in first.
It was scorched black everywhere, and as far as the eye could see, it was empty. Only the scorching heat in the air announced what had just happened here.
"Huh?" said Allen, walking towards where the Guthias Tree was.
Under the scorched black again, a black hole was revealed.
After Allen probed, no anomalous sounds were heard. He slowly slid down the hole, finally holding on to the edge of the hole with only ten fingers.
He glanced at what was going on below, let go of his hand, and the cold, damp air whirred in his ears.
He fell down, fell, fell, andβ
An extraordinarily bright room appeared in front of him.
The ornate granite reliefs on the walls of this house have been largely shattered, and large and small stones are scattered on the ground.
A massive statue of a woman towers over the west side of the room. The statue's sunken eye sockets glowed brown, casting a dark shadow on the ground.
"Eris, the goddess of doom. Alan looked at the name plate engraved underneath the statue and knew the identity of the statue.
Alan looked at the statue's face, and the more he looked at it, the more familiar it felt, and he couldn't help but mutter, "Unlike what I've seen before, this statue is obviously older, and the crown on its head makes it look a bit like Rowena Ravenclaw." β
Allen's gaze was fixed on the crown above the statue's head.
The brown gem in the center of the crown had a faint glitter, and Alan keenly captured it.
Eren stretched out his wand and aimed it at the gem, carefully controlling the strength of the person and digging it out of the crown.
Alan hadn't seen a lot of treasures, but he still couldn't help but be obsessed with this gem.
Brown streamers flicker on the gemstone from time to time, indicating its unusualness.
With its earthy hues, it's pure and immaculate.
"This is the fourth gem I own, I wonder what your purpose is?"
Alan puts the gem into his storage compartment and uses the system to identify it.
"The gem of Eris has a miraculous effect on the growth of plants. Alan thought of the garden in the tower and looked forward to it.
Putting the gems away, Alan looked around and there was nothing more noteworthy.
The trip was worth it, and Alan felt that in addition to the nickname "Score Collector", he might be able to add a "Gem Collector".
After meeting up with Hermione and Luna, the trio returned the same way they came.
The speed of the return trip is much faster than when I came.
In that prison, they took with them, who was still very weak.
Seeing Allen and them, Taragon was very excited. He didn't want to stay here any longer.
It reminds him of those suppressed and desperate memories.
"My companions, are they alright?" asked Taragon hopefully.
Alan shook his head and said nothing.
Tarragon bowed his head, not crying, but one could feel the indescribable depth of sorrow in him
As he passed through the territory of the trolls, Alan thought there was still some entanglement.
After all, now, Zhuo Geng is following Luna, and he is unwilling to return to the cage to be a holy dragon. But what I didn't expect was that the entire troll's territory was empty.
The group did not let their guard down until they arrived at the dark realm that Mibo had pointed out and had access to the outside world.
The passage leading to the dark area was a mess, with huge footprints of interlaced and chaotic chaos, some of the overturned daily necessities, and traces of things dragging by......
"It looks like the trolls have been evacuated for the time being. Alan said.
"It should be Mibo, he must have told Yusdayel about our strength and the matter of Zhuogen. Hermione guessed.
"We don't mean to reckon. Alan shook his head, it was best for them to avoid it, and it would be best if they could get a little less trouble.
Leaving the underground castle without incident, they made their way to the Great Rift Valley.
On a narrow platform strewn with gravel, rubble and the bones of small animals, a young tree was torn apart.
"Its branches and leaves are the same as those of the Gusyas tree. Compared to those withered young trees, it is like a well-nurtured child, with lush branches and verdant colors, and even if it has lost its life, it is still full of color. Hermione leaned down and observed the small sapling.
"That's probably why Belik is desperately holding us back. He wanted to buy time for the young tree to escape. Alan sighed.
"But it's still dead here. Hermione said.
"This mark?" Alan looked at the scratches on the sapling, "it turned out to be it." β
Alan laughed. Hermione and Luna looked at him puzzled.
"The Quasdemon, this mark was scratched by it. Alan explained.
"Look at the scratches on the rock, and look at the rubble scattered around it, this young tree must have been pushed down by Quasdemon. Alan speculated.
"Cut!" Quartem dragged bat-like wings as he appeared on the edge of the cliff above them.
Then, laughing, it fled quickly.
"Hermione, Luna, let's go too. Alan shrugged, ignoring the quasdemon.
"Drogon?" Luna had stepped out of the platform, but Drogen remained in the dark, refusing to move forward.
Luna's pale silver eyes widened, and she didn't urge.
Drogen's tentatively stuck out his head, and the sunlight shone on its head, into its eyes, and it shrank back in an instant.
"Zhuo Geng, it's safe. Luna stood in the sunlight and took a few steps back.
Drogen, who watched Luna walk away, let out a few dissatisfied roars, and then, moving his steps a little bit, gradually approached her.
The moment it stepped onto the platform, it couldn't help but wince, but bravely approached Luna.
"Good boy, Drogon. Luna showed rare enthusiasm and joy, gently stroking Drogon's head.
"Drogon, fly. Luna opened her arms, her pale silver eyes fixed on Drogon's eyes, and made a few flying movements, then climbed onto Drogon's back neatly and patted its wings with her hands.
Drogen hissed, flapped his wings, and carried Luna, sping forward, wings spread, silently hovering high in the air.
