Chapter 263: The Forbidden City

After listening to the statements of the two divine beasts, Yili, who was about to get up, happened to see Liu Long walking in with his little sister and a young man.

After introducing each other, Yili looked at Andy Lau, and had to say that in terms of behavior and temperament, he must have come from a famous family, and his appearance is also handsome, and he can be regarded as a past.

"Little sister, come in with me. ”

After watching Andy Lau, Yili, as a sister-in-law, called Liu Yi into the study, and it was not difficult for Liu Long to guess Yili's purpose, which was nothing more than that girls should protect themselves and so on.

"Uncle, what did my sister-in-law ask Liu Yi to do, wouldn't it be that I didn't agree with me and Liu Yi falling in love. At this time, Andy Lau's face did not have a cynical expression, and it was not difficult to see that he was very nervous at the moment.

Hearing that he was still calling his eldest brother, Liu Long was a little helpless, if Andy Lau was labeled at this moment, Liu Long would not hesitate to paste the three words hob meat on his head.

"Why, I'm nervous, if you call me Brother Liu in the future, I'll go and help you take a look. "There is no good way to deal with hob meat, Liu Long.

"That's not good, it's a matter of principle to call your uncle, and it's good to enjoy the shade under the big tree, with your big tree, I will live in an air-conditioned room in the future." ”

Andy Lau's words, in Liu Long's opinion, are simply shameless, but it is strange to say, although Andy Lau's words are a little inappropriate, but Liu Long is not angry, one may be from Andy Lau's glasses to see the innocence, and the other may be Wang Ba looking at the mung bean in the eyes.

"Okay, you can ask Liu Yi yourself when she comes out in a while, but I can tell you, don't be so poor in front of my daughter-in-law, otherwise even I won't be able to save you. Liu Long kindly reminded Andy Lau, after all, in this family, his status is somewhat special, and in layman's terms, his wife is strict.

Liu Long and Andy Lau chatted casually, from famous cars and watches, to space technology, from space technology to life values, and the two mythical beasts were playing in the courtyard.

Just when Liu Long and Andy Lau were chatting energetically, Yili and Liu Yi walked out of the study, and it was not difficult to see from Liu Yi's shy face that Liu Long's guess was correct.

"Brother, let's go. Liu Yi, who had just come out of the study, saw the harmonious picture of Liu Long and Andy Lau, and then looked at the watch in his hand, and then said to Liu Long.

After half an hour's drive, Liu Long first led everyone to the former Imperial Palace, and now the Forbidden City, which is also a national AAAAA-level scenic spot, and then visited the emperor's palace under the guidance of a tour guide.

The Forbidden City is located in the center of the imperial capital and was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties of Hua Guoguo lived. It was originally called the Forbidden City, and its name came from the Ziwei Star Wall. Ziwei Xingyuan is located in the center of the three star walls, so it is the constellation that represents the Emperor of Heaven, and the place where the Emperor lives is called the Purple Palace. The Emperor of Heaven is naturally supreme, and in order to show his supreme status, the emperors of the world also named the place where they ruled and lived the Forbidden City.

The Forbidden City is 960 meters long from north to south and 750 meters wide from east to west, surrounded by a thick wall 10 meters high. Each of the four corners of the city has an elaborate corner tower, and the outside of the city is surrounded by a moat.

It covers an area of 720,000 square meters and has more than 9,000 palace buildings. The Forbidden City consists of two parts: the outer court and the inner court. The outer court was the place where the emperor handled government affairs, held court meetings and ceremonies, and the inner court was the place where the emperor handled daily affairs and daily life.

The Forbidden City was designed in strict accordance with the Confucian etiquette system, and the architecture was built in accordance with the principle of "the supremacy of imperial power", maintaining a prominent center and strict symmetrical pattern.

Therefore, its main buildings are distributed on the north-south central axis of the capital or arranged on both sides of the central axis in an orderly manner.

The construction of the Forbidden City was done at no cost, under the will of the emperor, skilled craftsmen gathered in the imperial capital, with the best building materials collected from all over the country, carefully carved out the only one in the world.

In addition, the vast majority of the rare treasures accumulated by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties are also collected in the Palace Museum, and the dazzling array of ancient treasures is breathtaking.

Tiananmen Square is the main gate of the Forbidden City, flanked by the Taimiao Temple and Shejifang. On the day of the grand celebration, there will be a notice to the world, the edict is placed in the "Dragon Pavilion", a special palanquin, carried from the deep palace to the front of Tiananmen Square.

The majestic noon gate is 80.42 meters high, the gatehouse is towering, and the left and right wings are protruding forward. Above the two wings, there are four square pavilions at the corners and tops. Every October, the emperor issued the almanac for the following year at the noon gate.

There are three gates downstairs at the Noon Gate, one of which is only for the emperor to enter, but there are exceptions, on the day of the emperor's marriage, the queen can enter the Forbidden City through this gate.

Walking through the majestic and magnificent noon gate, you will enter a wide rectangular square. This is the largest square in the Forbidden City. Directly in front of it is a river with five arched bridges, and on the northern platform stands the Taihe Gate, which only the emperor can enter and exit.

To the east of the Taihe Gate is the Zhaode Gate for military attachés, and to the west is the Zhendu Gate for the princes and ministers. Walking through these gates, a huge square appeared in front of you, which could accommodate 20,000 people. This square was used for the emperor's court ceremonies. To the north, a three-tiered white marble railing surrounds an eight-meter-high broad pedestal, on which three halls stand from south to north.

The first and largest one is the Taihe Palace, where the emperor's enthronement ceremony, wedding, New Year's Day celebration and other ceremonies are held.

The Zhonghe Hall is located behind the Taihe Hall and is a smaller square hall. Before the emperor went to the Taihe Palace, he had to accept the worship of the deacon officials here. Every year at the beginning of spring, seeds and farming tools are sent to the temple for a ceremonial examination in the hope of a good year.

The Bohol Hall is the last hall of the three major halls of the outer dynasty. Its structural design is similar to that of the Taihe Palace, except that it is smaller in scale and slightly lower in rank, but it is a magnificent hospitality hall, where the emperor will entertain foreign envoys and ethnic minority leaders during the grand ceremonies and New Year's festivals. And the last level of the imperial examination, the palace examination, was also held here.

After coming out of the Bohol Hall to the north, you can see a square with a long east and west square, and there are doors on the east, west, and north sides. The north side is the Qianqing Gate, and if you can enter this gate, it is the inner court. The inner court was the living place of the emperor, empress and concubines, and outsiders were not allowed to trespass.

The first palace in the inner court was the Qianqing Palace, which was the emperor's bedroom in the Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. At five o'clock in the morning, the emperor got up, finished breakfast, and went to the Qianqing Palace to deal with state affairs.

The not-so-large palace in the middle is the Jiaotai Palace, which contains twenty-five treasure seals. There is an iron plaque hanging in the hall, engraved with the emperor's decree that "eunuchs shall not interfere in political affairs". There is also a large chiming bell made in 1798 and a copper water leaker jug used to keep time. The last seat of the building of this group of three palaces is Kunning Palace, which was the queen's bedroom in the Ming Dynasty and used as the marriage cave room of the emperor and queen in the Qing Dynasty.

Behind the Kunning Palace, there is the Kunning Gate Tongyu Garden, this garden was built in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, it is the oldest and largest one of the three gardens in the palace, between the mountains and rivers, the pavilions and pavilions, everything is used.

In the center of the Imperial Garden is the Qin'an Palace, a Taoist temple and the best-preserved Ming Dynasty building in the Forbidden City. On the west side of the Qin'an Hall is the Qianqiu Pavilion, and on the east side is the Wanchun Pavilion. On the east and west sides of the last three palaces, there are many groups of small buildings with complex layouts, which are the east and west signs of the Forbidden City.

They still follow the east-west symmetrical layout of the buildings of the outer dynasties, but they are mainly in the traditional courtyard style. Each courtyard was formed into a single courtyard, and each of the emperor's many concubines lived. The west side of the last three palaces is the hall of nourishing the heart.

The walls of the Forbidden City have corner towers built on each corner. In the design of these turrets, the number nine is still uniquely favored. Each corner tower has nine beams and eighteen columns, triple eaves, seventy-two ridges, and a gilt spire in the middle of the roof.

Shenwu Gate is the north gate of the Forbidden City. Out of this gate is Jingshan, which is also the last barrier of the Forbidden City.

Liu Long and the others listened to the tour guide's explanation while visiting the Forbidden City.
