And just as spring was about to begin, 300 kilometers away from the Demon Beast Forest in the Supreme Mountain Range, in the city of Diphons, the adventure guild in the city issued a mission.

Gather people to patrol the outskirts of the Warcraft Forest to check the number of various Warcraft.

Let's see if there is any special change in the number of Warcraft after a winter.

The last time there was a wave of Warcraft, it was a long time ago, but it was a must-be.

This is a routine task, and it does not require entering the depths of the Warcraft Forest, as long as the traces of the activities of various Warcraft can be roughly estimated, in order to determine whether Warcraft will expand their territory in the future.

So, a seasoned hunter is needed.

Then there is a wide range, 300 kilometers longitudinally, nearly 10,000 kilometers laterally, and nearly 20,000 kilometers need to run, which generally takes 60 days.

In short, it is a chicken rib task that does not require much strength, but is more time-consuming.

However, it is very suitable for a wild trip as a beginner adventurer, so that novices can go from yearning for wild life to hating it, and then staying up to adapt.

During the Empire of Light, it was a coming-of-age parade for the nobles of the city of Diphonse.

But now, after the collapse of the Empire of Light, the city-states are busy fighting for power and profit, enjoying the pleasure of not being regulated.

The upstarts of Diphonse City didn't want to care at all, and the task was put on hold.

......

Warcraft Forest.

With the arrival of spring, the magic of the little wind wolves is almost sharpened, and they follow the adult wolves to act together.

Nearly a hundred wolves are together, and they look a little mighty.

It's just that there are too many of them, and they need more than 2 tons of meat every day, and at least 4 medium and large animals similar to reindeer must be killed every day to fill everyone's stomach.

As a result, wolves have increased their range, collisions with other hunters, and disappearances and casualties have followed.

And where there are casualties, Shan Dai will follow and explode the skill book in the name of revenge.

Yamazaki followed suit, drawing a simple map.

Advancing all the way to the west, tigers, leopards, and bears are not a problem, but there are a group of lions and 30 adult lions 200 kilometers away, and the two sides did not fight after the confrontation.

The border of the west was also set, and the north went to the depths of the forest, and there was no past.

And the eastward advance of about 300 kilometers, without encountering obstacles, turned back.

300 kilometers of forest road one round trip, this is a day round trip for wolves.

More than 100 kilometers south along the mountain stream near the wolf's den, the terrain is getting lower and lower, and the trees are getting more and more sparse.

Out of the forest, there is an endless grassland, and there are many herbivores among the bushes and low trees.

It's just that hunting here will evolve into a chase war, which is not conducive to the wolves.

But Yamazaki is not ready to intervene, there is a lot to eat in the spring, and the hungry wolves are not dead.

Standing on a small hill and looking out, Yamazaki feels comfortable walking out of the forest, suddenly opening up, and the sky is wide and wide.

It's that there is Shandai next to him who is learning Taishan and yelling, it's really noisy.

......

The wolves are centered around the wolf's den, and their current territory is an irregular fan-shaped area - about 500 kilometers from east to west and 120 kilometers from north to south.

And most of the encounters are first-order demonic beasts like ordinary wind wolves - the magic of this system has been practiced to 100.

A small number of second-order magical beasts, magic to 200, were all captured and killed.

The entire territory is generally safe.

......

Spring passes, the summer steppes become arid, and the animals move towards the forest.

Wolf hunting became convenient, and the she-wolf began to give birth to a new generation of wolf cubs in her belly.

Yamazaki grabbed Yamadai to work, and used magic to dig a cellar by the river and make an ice cellar to store meat.

Under the leadership of Shandai, the wolves went from being satisfied with their food to hunting and killing in advance.

Rats, rabbits, fish, snakes, deer, horses, sheep, cows, wild boars, etc., all kinds of first-order magical beasts, and a small number of second-order magical beasts, are constantly divided and frozen.

With the whole animal skin, Yamazaki tried to make some simple tanning with plant ash, using tendons as threads, bones as cones, and drilling and piercing tendons to make several sets of clothes.

From primitive people wrapped in animal skins to primitive civilized people wearing animal skin clothes.

In the fall, the monster collected and ate all the fruit, as well as wild wheat and wild rice.

Grinding it with a stone, blowing off the skin, and slowly boiling it in a stone pot, you finally have a fruit cereal porridge to change the taste.

When hundreds of wolf cubs filled the wolf den, the adult male wolves could only run outside to sleep, and they all became irritable.

Yamazaki took Yamadai to use earth magic to create an uninterrupted wall, and then used dark magic to corrode and hollow out, and it became a cave.

A wolf's den was built with an area of about 1,000 square meters, accommodating nearly 100 adult wolves.

Although it is simple, it can also shelter from the wind and rain, so make do with it.

......

The hectic life is interrupted by an icy rain, the winds from the north are coming, and winter is approaching.

Yamazaki calculated that this year's winter seemed to be earlier than last year, and he was worried that more demonic beasts would come out in the depths of the forest, so he took Yamadai to set traps.

Last year's brown bear was only a second-order demonic beast, but fortunately it was only a family, and if a group came, the wolves would not be able to cope with it.

......

As traps are completed one after another, heavy snow hits unexpectedly.

Shan Dai was idle, but Yamazaki found out that something was wrong, and he became a shovel officer to solve the health problem of more than 300 wolf cubs in the wolf den, so as not to excrete in the den and cause the spread of diseases.

Although Shan Dai has learned a lot of magic, she has no magic to cure diseases, nor does she have magic to heal wounds, so she has to be careful in everything.

This time, even if the wolves were wearing snow shoes, they could not hunt enough food for 500 wolves, so the frozen meat from the ice cellar came in handy.

However, there are only 2,000 tons of frozen meat, and if you can't eat it, it will be consumed in less than three months, so you still have to hunt every day to survive the four months of winter.

......

Ten days later, in the morning, the trap was struck.

Yamazaki carefully checked and found that it was a tiger with horns that had fainted in the mud pit.

Looking at the scorched black appearance of its whole body, it should be lightning, and after being frightened, it discharged itself and electrocuted itself.

In the afternoon, Shan Dai came back and killed it and exploded a box, which contained thunder magic - chain lightning, and after learning, the lightning magic broke through 200 points.

Shan Dai couldn't wait to release one, and a zigzag lightning swept across the field in the blink of an eye, an area about 50 meters long and 10 meters wide.

It's hard to say how much damage it will do to the individual, but the scope is quite satisfactory.

Yamazaki pondered, "Are there any tigers?"

"Well, there's a female one, let's go check it out. Shan Dai showed the way.

"Do you think they can beat last year's brown bear?"

"Probably not, thunder magic doesn't have an advantage over earth magic," Shan Dai reacted, "Brother, you mean, there are other powerful magical beasts?"

"That's what I'm worried about, magic is this thing, the higher you go, the more lethal it is, which high-level magical beast can destroy the entire area in an instant with a single magic, you don't know when, suddenly die." ”

"Brother, you're thinking too much, this is the world of gods, how can high-level demonic beasts come out so easily to harm humans. ”

"Hopefully. ”
