Chapter 46: The Cave of Rare Birds and Beasts
According to the map of "Raiders", Zhang Ning came to the royal garden on this floor.
In the middle of the garden, which is full of pavilions and pavilions, and strange flowers and trees, is a huge crystal mountain without the slightest impurity.
This kind of crystal clear ore, which the cultivation world calls a transparent stone, is extremely rare in a fist-sized piece. It seems that the reason is here—most of the see-through stone mines in the Xiuzhen Realm were looted by the First Emperor thousands of years ago to decorate the garden!
The whole transparent stone mountain covers an area of several thousand square meters, and the surface is uneven, as if it was formed naturally. The mountain has five facets, and hundreds of caves, large and small, have been dug out on each side. The caves vary in size, width, and height, but they are arranged in a staggered manner. Each cave has the eaves of the dougong made of transparent stone and the texture is exquisite, and there is no trace of splicing between the eaves of the dougong and the top of the cave entrance, which is carved at the same time as the cave is excavated by the stone mountain.
The caves on three sides facing the verandah were all empty, while the caves on both sides facing the verandah were crammed to the brim.
In the first cave on the far left, in the first row of the Penetrating Stone, a red salamander lies flat on the central square platform integrated with the Penetrating Cavern, and it is pedaling another orange salamander on its two hind legs. The orange salamander spun like a wheel under the kicks of the red salamander. If the viewer is a mortal with the naked eye, they can only see the orange shadow, but cannot see the orange lizard itself.
A thin rope with the thickness of a ham intestine is hanging in a stone cave on the right, and a green-feathered donkey stands upright, with two front hooves reverently holding a green bamboo pole more than ten meters long, and two hind hooves stepping steadily on the rope and walking slowly.
The space in the cave above was very small, only the size of a washing machine cardboard box, and a group of fluffy little beasts that Zhang Ning didn't recognize, resembling orchids, danced on tiptoe on the seven jade cups that were upside down.
The other cave next to it was slightly larger, and several tumbleweed-like spirit beasts stretched out three vertical thorns of about five meters on each side of the "grass ball", and the top of the standing thorns was supported by six small jade plates. While they were tumbling rapidly around the Penetrating Stone Cave, the jade saucer at the top of the Standing Thorn kept spinning at a constant speed.
In the middle of all the sides of the mountain is a spherical cavern, and in the center of the cave stands a metal tube as thick as a wrist. A brutal mossy bear with a coquettish face, a dozen or so jade bowls stacked on its head, danced an extremely seductive dance on a metal pipe.
In a cave on the far right, two animals next to each other on the food chain coexist harmoniously - the rice dolphins jump down from the high haystacks one after another, and the chickens in the foot basin below line up to catch the rice fish one by one with the foot basin on their backs, and the cycle repeats itself.
There is also a grotto in the shape of an inverted triangle, the bottom of the flying sheep with its "bun" to hold up a trident-shaped wooden pole, each fork has a flying sheep, these three flying sheep each hold a trident-shaped wooden pole, so stacked seven layers of flying sheep.
There is only one soap boot in the top jeep-sized transparent stone cave, and from the soap boots there are constantly jumping out of the large and small moon jade rabbits, and when they fill the cave, the soap boots suck the moon jade rabbits back like draining the sewer mouth. After the soap boots suck all the moon jade rabbits clean, after a pause for a few breaths, the boots will continue to jump out of the rabbits.
In the first grotto in the second row of the other section, several thunder otters are running wildly while throwing thunder flying swords at each other, and the lightning in the cave is flying, and the crazy otters are scurrying, and the scene is extremely chaotic.
In the grotto the size of the bathroom on the right, several giant ice bamboo insect-like spirit beasts are playing with fire sticks, and the flames that rotate rapidly at both ends of the fire sticks are almost connected into a ring of fire.
In a slightly larger grotto above, six bangbang chickens are flying around while shaking the bamboos with their claws, and the colorful feathers and the bamboos flying up and down are refracted through the stones, shining with dazzling brilliance.
In another, smaller grotto, a mud deer stands upside down, with only its left front hoof standing on the stone face, and the other three legs kick a shuttlecock each.
In a slender cavern, there was only a fat snake the size of a bucket and the height of a man, and it sat there straight and motionless, while its eight navels wriggled and blinked on its belly - it was the legendary eight-navel snake!
There is also a grotto that is flat and wide, twelve glutinous newts stretch their limbs in the ring, they hold the ring handle with six claws, shuttle and roll in the cave - take off the four-claw rolling ring, double newt cross rolling ring, single and double around the plum blossom shape rotation, the pattern emerges endlessly, it is very lively. This glutinous rice newt is an agile spirit animal in the southern desert, in order to reduce water dispersion loss, the surface of its body is uneven, just like rolling a body of glutinous rice and then being dried by the wind, so it is named glutinous rice newt.
In the midst of the rapidly rolling twelve metal rings, a tailed scorpion is eyeing and waiting for an opportunity to attack. This stuffed scorpion is a pink demon beast in the southern desert, the venom in the venom tongs behind the tail can only be brewed after a hundred years, and the venom contains a highly toxic substance "brain remnants", although the poisoned person does not die, but the brain is seriously damaged, and he is permanently insane.
There is also a grotto, half of which is filled with water, and there is a set of single and parallel bars underwater, and several big-bellied bar whales are clumsily making movements on the bars.
This kind of bar whale is a characteristic spirit animal of the East, they are among the spirit beasts because of their slight aura, but they do not have any spells and have a fatal flaw - they will not be able to patrol when they encounter a bar-shaped object, and they will never stop until they lift the bar-shaped object out of the water. As a result, mortal fishermen used bars as bait and wantonly booby-trapped barwhales. Because the whale is extremely energetic, coastal fishermen call the whale kidney, whale pill and whale whip the whale "bar whale three-piece set", believing that the "bar whale three-piece set" can achieve the effect of aphrodisiac when it is roasted until it is half-cooked and served with spirits. Fortunately, the barwhale is indeed extremely fecund, and thousands of years of hunting have not been able to reduce its population.
The largest grotto occupies a tenth of the entire mountain, and within it floats a huge white-bellied hairy-footed turtle, on its back stands a four-headed narrow-hipped elephant, on which is a flattened saucer-shaped world that seems to contain various tiny intelligent creatures. [Note 1]
In addition, in these two faceted caves, there are seven green chariot leopards with shiny fur and sturdy bodies skillfully riding small unicycles with two hind paws; eight snow and ice minks with crystal clear fur are turning over and drilling fire rings; six spirit beasts with heads like wild boars and human feet are wearing flower skipping ropes with five fingers on the ground; a monkey-like spirit beast with eyes like glasses is doing a handstand and jumping on the horns of the star-picking horse; and a group of jelly-like spirit animals covered with stones are bouncing around, turning in the air, and backflipping on the seesaw [Note 2]. A group of trumpet-like spirit birds strolled on a ladder several times its height, and a nest of A4-paper-like ice and snow spirit beasts tossed nine wine jars several times larger in diameter...... If you look carefully cave by cave, Zhang Ning can watch here for more than ten days!
The "Terracotta Warriors", "Waterfowl Warriors", "Civil Warriors", "Bronze Chariots and Horses", "Stone Armor", "Hundred Opera Warriors", and "Rare Beast Stables" recorded in junior high school history books are really a lot.
This is the spirit of the fairy play collection!
