Chapter 373: One Rule, Another Rule
"I'm Agatha. Perhaps, you forgot all about me. After all, I have made all of you suffer while following Mr. Mayne. Even, Wolfer was one of them. β
The woman picked up the basket and shook her ponytails. And the woman's dress is the same one that Glori saw outside the City of Honor. The difference is that Agatha didn't dress up with heavy makeup as she did back then.
Although the light cotton dress made Agatha look rich, the face without heavy makeup was left with a pity that the rich rarely possessed, except for playfulness.
"Hey, Glori, we need to get out of here. If you stay until dawn, someone will greet the patrolling officer. β
Reaching out, Agatha pulled Glori.
Glori knew that Agatha never cared who she was up against. As long as Agatha wanted to help, no one could stand in her way, not even a nobleman like Wolfer.
Retracting his surprised gaze, Glori smiled and said, "Yes, that's the rule you've always had. What am I hesitating about? It's not just Wooder that you want to help. β
When Glori got up, Agatha tugged on Glori's shoulder again. Agatha, meanwhile, didn't forget to tat Glori on the shoulder. That wasn't the end of it, as Agatha squeezed Glori's shoulder.
Knowing that Glori was no longer the skinny young man he used to be, Agatha responded to Glori's words. "Before, I did want to help Wolfer. But now, why is that guy getting more and more uncomfortable? I see, he wants to be beaten again. Perhaps, he is waiting for me to find him!"
As Glori thought, the reunion with Agatha would have been a disaster. It didn't matter if his shoulder was pinched, and he had to be forcibly pulled by Agatha to walk. Besides, the last time he was pulled by the arm by a young woman, Glori couldn't remember how long it was. The current situation is simply embarrassing for Glori.
To avoid embarrassment as much as possible, Glori paused. Glori knew that with his current strength, it would be an easy task to let a woman with delicate shoulders let go. Even, Glori did this simply to keep his distance, especially for fear that he would think of Yvette.
"Hey, you need to let go of my hands, because I can walk on my own. Or, you should tell me about the Sunflower Salt Farm right now. Then you have to accept a piece of advice from me. β
"What? Do you have any advice?"
Agatha was a little angry. She dragged Glori away, just worried that Glori would walk slowly. Also, she was angry that Glori knew what kind of person she was and still said excessive things. In particular, Glori knew that Agatha was worried about Wooder all the time.
The more Agatha thought about it, the more angry she became, and she looked back at Glori.
Glori didn't want to get in trouble, after all, the women on the street were no match for Agatha.
"No...... Agatha, you must have misunderstood. β
Glori hastily explained. Glori did remember that Agatha was the girl who was bent on chasing Wuver. Although Agatha never confessed to Wolfer, Agatha always approached Wolfer in a way that made it difficult for Wolfer. Glori even saw Agatha make Wolfer red and thick in the middle of the argument.
"Yes, you must have misunderstood. So, what are you thinking? I'm just pulling you away! Don't you know my temper? Look, it's almost dawn, and you're still walking so hard. If I don't urge you, how can you go faster? If Susan is here, she'll do the same! It's just that she's not as rude as I am!" Agatha was indeed in a bad temper.
So, one sentence, caused a series of reactions from Agatha. Even, she forgot the rules that Glori had mentioned.
Glori told Agatha to let go, not to avoid any misunderstanding. Rather, Glori will be reminded of the past because of it. Also, Glori remembers that Wooder has been courting Agatha. At this point, Glori didn't think of anything strange, just to get rid of the embarrassment.
Seeing Agatha's unhappy face, Glori had no choice but to shrug her shoulders and explain well. "You see, if you pull me away like this, I will think of the girl who saved my life. That girl, Yvette, was a girl I would never forget. That's why I'm telling you to let go of your hands. β
"Oh, that's what you're talking about? That's why I misunderstood you," Agatha pouted, looking down on Glori, "However, what people call the Blue Star is nothing but a mortal! I've heard a little bit about the story of the Blue Star and the Purple Dream Girl! Why, why can't you forget the past? Yes, what does this matter to me, I'm not Susan! I still have to go find my Worver!"
On the spot, Glori was stunned.
Glori didn't expect that there would be another person who looked at him with strange eyes. And that man was the one who grew up together and was taught with Mr. Mayne!
Speaking of Agatha's questioning of Glori about Yvette, Glori himself is conflicted. Sometimes, because of Yvette, Glori would be extra repulsive to other girls. Sometimes, Glori had to fantasize that he would meet another girl he longed for, as he had for His Highness Ruth, because he had to move forward.
Then Glorry was gone.
"Agatha, my advice to you is about Wolfer. I have to tell you, Wofer has stepped up. I met him a while ago and became an eternal enemy. β
"Enemy, I thought you were going to say something. I know, Wolfer has been going bad. Still, I hope to find him. For he is bolder than any of you. And I just like people like him!"520
Agatha, still angry.
It's insane......
Glori didn't laugh at Agatha. Out of emotional grief, Glori did not dissuade him again. However, Glori understands that feelings can be maddening. Glori could only hope that Agatha would turn Wooder back.
Looking at Agatha, Glori pointed to the wide road ahead. Meaning, let's stop talking about Wofver, we should talk about something else.
"So, can you tell us more about the Sunflower Salt Farm?" Because, he was worried that Agatha would not give up.
"Sunflower Salt Farm, aren't you looking for someone? Lord Javier, you've already told me. He said, let me keep an eye on it for you, and I wish you find the person you are looking for soon!"
"I'm looking for someone, for the sake of the warband. β
"Who are you looking for?"
"A good man. β
Glori knew Agatha would ask who she was looking for. So, Glori had no choice but to do it again. Glori, he couldn't believe anyone like he used to. Now, following Agatha, Glori is a little envious of Agatha's pungent personality. It would be nice to have a rule like Agatha that "as long as you want to do something, you won't let anyone stop it."
It's a pity that Glori is Glori. Glori, there are so many things to worry about, too many principles to follow. Glori, can't be as free and easy as Agatha. It seems that doing things according to the rules is already something that Glori cannot change.
However, it is precisely because of the rules that Glori's stubbornness has been achieved. Of course, Glori didn't say Agatha didn't have rules. After all, everyone's growth is different. And didn't Agatha do anything out of the ordinary? That is, Agatha did something willful under another rule.
It's just that Glori doesn't know what rules Agatha has set for herself.
Glori, though, would love to thank Agatha. If it weren't for Agatha, Glori would have almost overlooked the need to set up a warband.
Speaking of which, Glori hadn't thought about the specifics of the warband, and apart from having a general generalization, all that was left was to recruit talent. Ironically, in the past few days in and out of the City of Honor, Glori not only did not find a rebel outpost, but also did not meet anyone who could be considered a member of the warband.
There were so many things to think about that Glori didn't notice the day was rising or the streets were getting more pedestrians. Had it not been for Agatha's reminder, Glori would have almost forgotten about the other thingβFiona, who was already waiting at the inn.
So, after many requests, Glori made Agatha, a stubborn girl, compromise. Walking all the way to the north, it has also turned into walking towards the east of the city.
When Glori arrived at the inn, Fiona was having a good conversation with Lord Javier.
Fiona said, "The blue star turned out to be a big stupid hat. He told me that the bloody phoenix was reborn!"
And Lord Javier said, "How can a decent guy suddenly become flexible? I think he really needs to think about the rules." β
Out of interest, Glori pushed the door open and said, "Maybe, that's what I should do." So, is there a good place for Fiona to go?"
"Not yet, but I'm going to fight for others like you do. β
Fiona was a little happy. At first, Lord Javier comforted Fiona, but Fiona did not believe that Glori had the ability to escape the disaster in the woods. Later, Fiona was persuaded by Javier.
Seeing that Glori had not spoken, Fiona added, "Glori, Lord Javier showed me a magical stone!
Death stones?
Glori was shocked, as if something bad had happened. A thought urged Glori to retrace his experience when he left Noah's Jungle.
In order not to let the scene continue to be different, Glori said: "My warband, there is indeed a rule. That is, as long as he is willing to fight for the kingdom of Alex, I am willing to take him in. So, Fiona, you can come with me. β
However, only Glori knows - the rules of the warband are not just what Glori said. Instead, Glori will take in those who have found their own rules. Glori's hope is that for every member. Because, most people who follow the rules know what it means to be "I am for everyone".
