Volume 1 Chapter 8 The Seven Buddha's Pujas

Regardless of other people's eyes, Luo Fan had already stepped up the steps, gradually walked away, and entered the gate of Guanglong Temple.

The reason why Luo Fan chose to come to Guanglong Temple today is because the next day is the first day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, and the seven Dharma meetings of the Buddha in Guanglong Temple have long been agreed with Master Wunian.

The Seven Buddhas of Guanglong Temple have a long source and are also known as the "Seven Buddhas".

It is to set up a dojo to do Buddha things in a cycle of seven days, if you recite Amitabha Buddha, it is called Buddha Seven, if you recite Guanyin Bodhisattva, it is called Guanyin Seven, if you sit in meditation, it is called Zen Seven, in addition to Lengyan Seven, Great Compassion Seven and so on, can be collectively called Buddha Seven.

Hit is a dialect saying, which means to do.

Fighting is also the meaning of cure, that is, to get rid of habits, problems, karma, and force oneself to deal with one's delusions and obsessions.

Hitting seven is to knock out our delusions, replace thousands of delusions with a sentence of the pure thoughts of Amitabha Buddha, and correct the pure and free Dharma God with the four false combinations.

Ordinary temples almost do this kind of French ritual on this day, and Guangryuji Temple is the most famous and grand.

Luo Fan was familiar with the road, and walked until he walked outside the abbot's meditation room at the back, and the monk at the door saluted Luo Fan, "Mr. can go in by himself, the abbot is waiting for you!"

Luo Fan nodded, stretched out his hand and pushed open the door of the meditation room, and at a glance he saw Master Wunian inside, and there was a Taoist priest with fairy wind and Taoist bones sitting next to him, who was talking and drinking tea with Feng Bugui.

"Mr. Luo, you're finally here, come and sit down!" Master Wunian saw that it was Luo Fan, and his face immediately smiled, where was the solemn appearance when he talked to Shen Mingkun, and he looked like he had seen an old friend.

"Senior Brother Wunian, you can call Mr. Luo again to try!" Luo Fan sat down and quipped.

"Senior Brother Luo, come in and sit!" the Taoist priest greeted happily.

"Senior Brother Qing!" Luo Fan bowed.

"You're welcome, come and sit!" said with a smile.

Looking at the appearance of several people, it is clearly very familiar.

Speaking of the origin of Luo Fan and Master Wunian of Guanglong Temple, it can be traced back to the master of Luo Qian and Wunian, the abbot of Guanglong Temple at that time.

Luo Qian and Master Yuanshi, the master of Wu Nian, are friends who are irreversible, and they have traveled all over the world together in their early years and experienced life and death.

Later, an old friend had an accident and took in Feng Bugui, so there were fewer people, and then after picking up Luo Fan, there were more people.

Although he took off the door plaque of Wushi Pavilion and returned to live in the mountain village, because Feng Bugui was there and wanted to gain a foothold in Jiangcheng, he spent most of his time in Guanglong Temple, and Luo Fan spent almost all of his days in Guanglong Temple before he was ten years old.

He was as familiar with the place as he was at home, especially Wunian.

At that time, Luo Qian and Yuan Shi played chess as soon as they met, and they didn't care about anything else, so Wu Nian had to take care of Luo Fan instead.

The monks in the temple are very fond of Luo Fan, and they stuff everything they find into his arms, and even the first chopsticks almost go into Luo Fan's mouth when they make something delicious and delicious in the kitchen.

So many people spoil him, which has caused Luo Fan's lawless temper, and there is nothing in every corner of Guanglong Temple that he doesn't know.

Whoever has hidden something good in the meditation room, there is nothing he can't find.

Therefore, when he turned out the lotus seeds in front of the Buddha treasured in the Wunian meditation room and boiled the lotus seed soup, it caused Luo Fan to take a step later, and Wunian followed one step, for fear that he would turn out some treasure bumps in the temple again.

It is a fact that Luo Fan has been well-behaved and cute since he was a child, but the most important thing is that a small person is born with a good memory.

He opened his mouth to learn to speak, and Luo Qian asked him to memorize the "Book of Changes", and when he grew up to know words, enlightenment was the "Book of Burials".

In Guanglong Temple, obscure Sanskrit scriptures, as long as you listen to them once, you can recite them the second time with the monks who are doing the morning class.

Some monks who are not open-minded enough are often beaten by their own master Na Luofan.

Therefore, despite Luo Fan's earth-shaking commotion in the temple, he is still loved by everyone.

As he grew older, coupled with Luo Qian's teachings from time to time, slowly, Luo Fan's state of mind calmed down, and when he was thirteen years old, he seemed to have suddenly become enlightened, and his style of action had a calm temperament that was beyond people's reach.

Yuan Shi nodded, "This son is extraordinary!

Luo Qian smiled and shook his head, "It's far from it!"

When Feng Bugui had already made a name for himself in Jiangcheng, and had the care of Guanglong Temple, Luo Qian took Luo Fan to start traveling around to increase his knowledge, and it was not until five years ago that he returned to Jiangcheng with the father's affection of his old friend Mu Bingtian.

And speaking of Qing, he is now the head of Maoshan, this time he came to Guanglong Temple, saying that in addition to Maoshan's support for the Guanglong Temple Festival, the most important thing is to come to see Wunian, an old friend for many years.

There will be a Taoist priest present at the festival at Guanglong Temple, and many people will be very strange.

In the past, laymen said that Buddhism and Taoism were mortal enemies, but in fact, they were all false.

Many of the gods worshiped by Taoists and Buddhists are the same, but they are called differently.

Just like the Guanyin Bodhisattva of Buddhism, in Taoism it is called Cihang Dashi or Cihang Zhenren, Taishang Laojun is the ancestor of Taoism, and its twelve disciples have become Buddhas can show that Buddhism and Taoism are not separated from each other since ancient times.

Therefore, it is really normal for the Qing Dynasty to appear in Guanglong Temple.

The master of the Qing Dynasty had an inextricable relationship with Luo Qian back then, saying that he was a brother or not, and there was a legend that Luo Qian gave up the position of the head of Maoshan to Master Qing, which was later confirmed to be a rumor.

In short, Luo Qian didn't say it himself, and no one could figure out what the relationship between them was.

Even Luo Fan didn't know, he only knew that every time Luo Qian took him to Maoshan, Maoshan opened the mountain gate, and all the Taoists came out to greet him.

Although Luo Fan is not as free as he is in Guanglong Temple in Maoshan Mountain, it is also a sideways existence.

It's not how deep he was at that time, it's all because of his high seniority, except for the three senior brothers of the Qing Dynasty who called him a junior brother, everyone else was a generation or two younger than him, and some were more than that.

At the beginning, Luo Fan thought that the business that his master was engaged in was related to the temple and Taoism, but later he learned that this was not the case, especially after learning about the existence of Wushi Pavilion.

There are many feng shui gentlemen outside, and the people on Maoshan can't look down on them, and they don't bother to look at them.

And the pure place of Buddhism does not care about the rights and wrongs in the mortal world.

As long as there is no evil warlock appearing, that is, a feng shui master with a bad heart seeking money and killing people, the people on Maoshan basically will not pay much attention.

That's why there are so many people out there who are swaggering and deceiving under various banners.

A few people talked about the previous things, and before they knew it, it was late at night, because the next day's festival started early in the morning, so a few people said goodbye and went back, so that Wu Nian could rest earlier.

Early the next morning, just after five o'clock, Luo Fan and Feng Bugui got up, and they both changed into Taoist robes, Taoist robes without any pattern signs, and Liao Qing was wearing a real Taoist robe, with gossip diagrams on the front and back.

After changing his clothes, Luo Fan combed his long hair into a bun, and looked at it coldly, he was a young and handsome little Taoist priest who was like a fairy.

After breakfast, a monk came over and took the two of them to the front hall.

Along the way, from different directions, there were believers who were taken by the monks to the front, and Luo Fan seemed to see Shen Mingkun.

But there were too many people, and I didn't look too much over there.

Everyone stopped when they were taken to the entrance of the main hall by the monks, and many of the first-time participants were curious about why they didn't go in, so they probed their heads and looked around.

At this glance, I saw a monk leading two people who looked like Taoist priests to come over.

Some of them whispered and asked if anyone knew each other, but they all got a negative answer, only Shen Mingkun set off a storm in his heart.

He saw that when he arrived at the gate of the main hall, everyone else stayed outside, but the monk took Luo Fan into the main hall, and after that, it was the turn of the people outside to go inside.

Who the hell is this Lovan?

Even those who seemed to have a lot of status were not qualified to go to the main hall first, but Luo Fan went in first!

Looking at his outfit again, I really can't guess what his identity is for a while.

And when Shen Mingkun and the white blind man walked into the solemn hall that had been arranged with the flow of people, they saw at a glance that Luo Fan was actually standing at the front, beside the abbot!

And these people can only stand at the back.

In the main hall, Luo Fan and Liqing stood next to Master Wu Nian, on the left row were the abbots of other temples and Taoist temples who came to watch the ceremony, and on the right were senior believers and some important people, and a few of them seemed to be quite simple.

But without exception, they were all curious and surprised by Luo Fan's young face.

In front of the golden statue of the Buddha who sits quietly in colorful clothes with his eyes down, there is a row of offering tables, on which incense burners are placed to offer fruits, and various objects are placed from left to right in the lower places.

These objects were specially brought to open the light, Luo Fan peeked at the offering table, he asked Feng Bugui to bring almost all of them in front of the incense burner in the center, and the others were placed on the sides.

As the bronze bell rang outside, the monks in robes walked in from both sides, holding wooden fish and chanting the Buddha's name, standing in front of the futon placed in front of the Buddha statue, placing the wooden fish in front of the futon, and sitting down after bowing three times and bowing nine times.

Wu Nian walked in front of the Buddha, first bowed to the Buddha, and then lit three incense sticks, offered incense, and after a series of rituals were completed, he walked to a huge wooden fish next to him and struck the first sound.

Next, it's clearing.

And the third person, Shen Mingkun, who was watching the ceremony behind, was even more shocked, and the third person who stepped forward to pay homage to the incense turned out to be Luo Fan.

Looking at Luo Fan's meticulous movements, the incense and incense were completed, and his mind was already blank.

What kind of character is this Lovan?

Why is there such a big puja at Guanglong Temple, and he will perform the ritual procedure behind the abbot?

Looking at the people from the other temples standing on the left, they didn't seem surprised, obviously many people knew Luo Fan's identity.

Suddenly, Shen Mingkun felt a strong fear, this Luo Fan seemed to be really unprovoked.

Those believers and big figures on the right were already surprised by Luo Fan's appearance, and now they were even more shocked.

No one asked, just chanted the Buddha's name with the sound of the wooden fish, and watched the ceremony quietly.

Luo Fan's practice is the same as that of the Qing Dynasty, which is a Taoist gift to show respect for Buddhism.

When Luo Fan is over, it will be the turn of the monks and Taoist priests on the left, and finally those on the right.

In these two rows, there is no need to pay homage to incense, as long as you make a big salute.

After all the guest etiquette procedures were completed, it was finally the turn of the believers who were not qualified to come forward standing behind.

Everyone can only fold their hands behind them and bow down silently by chanting the Buddha's name.

After everyone was finished, Master Wunian stopped the wooden fish, knocked on the bowl next to him, and made a "ding" sound, and the monk sitting on the futon in front of him immediately began to sing the Buddha's name.

The tone was abrupt and the Sanskrit sound was faint, so that all the believers involuntarily followed their tone to officially kick off the puja.

With Luo Fan's eyesight, he could see that the smoke of incense and candles and the sound of the Buddha's horn were intertwined in the air, slowly surrounding the golden statue of the Buddha.

The small objects in front of the Buddha statue began to form an aura one by one, and in Luo Fan's ears, the sound of "hum, hum!" formed by the magic instrument never stopped.

In his eyes, he saw that these auras were constantly forming, one after another, fast and slow, and these objects that had opened the light would be Dharma weapons in the future.

As long as Luo Fan and the others complete the ritual procedures in front of them and recite the Buddha name for about 20 minutes, the first step of the puja will be completed, and there will be no business for them, and the monks in the main hall will continue to lead the believers behind them to complete the next seven days of the puja.

Wu Nian knocked on the bowl again, and took the lead out of the main hall, followed by Qing and Luo Fan, and then the two rows of people on the left and right, who walked out of the main hall in turn.
