The pressure is high, and the wall thickness of the pipe needs to be increased accordingly. The specification of the high-pressure pipeline with the same outer diameter is 159x28, which means that the wall thickness reaches an incredible 28mm, which is 6.22 times the wall thickness of the medium and low-pressure pipeline.

The higher the pressure, the corresponding increase in the wall thickness, the solution is not difficult, but with the increase of the wall thickness, the stiffness of the pipeline increases, which brings another difficult problem to solve: the increase in the rigidity of the pipeline leads to the decrease in the flexibility of the pipe system.

The hottest pipeline in the synthesis section is the second outlet pipeline from the synthesis tower to the waste heat boiler, the temperature reaches 300 degrees Celsius, the pipe specification is 325x50, and the material is expensive and rare 10MoWVNb.

The higher the temperature, the greater the expansion of the pipeline, and if the pipeline system does not have enough flexibility to absorb the expansion, it will lead to pipe breakage, flange deformation, weld failure and other consequences. The end result is that high-pressure nitrogen and hydrogen gas leaks to the outside world, causing tragic accidents such as explosions and combustion.

Therefore, the high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines in the synthesis section need to be analyzed for stress, and then a reasonable pipeline layout is designed according to the analysis results, and appropriate flexible supports are selected.

Unfortunately, Donghai Provincial Chemical Design Institute currently does not have a pipeline stress analysis major, nor does it have stress analysis professionals, and there is still a blank in this regard.

The direction of the second outlet pipeline can refer to the design of 80,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, but the specific design size and spring frame parameters cannot be copied.
