After some deliberation, the matter was settled.

COMAC will first organize a group of experts to conduct a preliminary technical assessment on how to transform the RB211 engine into a gas generator and give opinions for the group to make a final decision; on the other hand, the group will next contact domestic manufacturers in the field of power turbines, such as Bingcheng Steam Turbine Factory, to discuss the feasibility of developing power turbines for RB211.

As for when the Ministry of Aviation Industry will organize a delegation to the United States and Europe for inspection, it is not something that Chen Geng should be concerned about.

It's just that after seeing that Chen Geng seemed to be staying happily in China and had no plans to return to the United States for the time being, many people were in a hurry.

For example, Chen Geng's old friend, McDonald Jr. of McDonnell Douglas Aircraft.

Little McDonald is going crazy this time!

"Did you call? When will Fernandez be back?" asked little MacDonald, who was tired and red-eyed, rubbing his face irritably, to his secretary.

The secretary was a little afraid to look at his boss, lowered his head and said: "I have called, but the other party said that Mr. Fernández Chen's affairs in Huaxia have not been dealt with, and the specific itinerary for returning to the United States has not been determined for the time being......"

Speaking of this, the secretary secretly glanced at Little MacDonald's reaction, and lowered his head very quickly: "They're good, they will convey your meaning to Mr. Fernández Chen, but it's ......."

"Alright, alright...... You go out. ”

Before the secretary could finish speaking, MacDonald Jr. waved his hand irritably, signaling that he didn't need to say anything.

The secretary went out as fast as he could.

The secretary went out, and little MacDonald sat down in a luxurious office chair with a depressed face, and the whole person seemed to be paralyzed and motionless.

Like today's similar answer, little MacDonald has actually heard it countless times, it is nothing more than "as long as Mr. Fernández Chen has a reply, we will notify you as soon as possible" and so on, but little MacDonald doesn't believe such nonsense at all, the current communication is so convenient, if the other party had a heart, Chen Geng's call should have been called to him in the first place- Fernandez's mobile phone was originally opened for international roaming services, and the reason why he hasn't replied to himself until now is probably because he still has an opinion about himself, right?

Scold......

At the thought of this, little MacDonald himself couldn't help but smile bitterly.

When he decided to launch the MD-2, Chen Geng repeatedly advised himself to be cautious, and said that if the project was not successful, the blow to McDonnell Douglas would be fatal, but he was too blind with confidence at the beginning, and he still strongly promoted the implementation of this project.

However, the next development of the MD-12 project is as Chen Geng said: after McDonnell Douglas Group announced its MD-12 large double-decker wide-body intercontinental airliner project, the MD-12 aircraft not only did not become the reshaping image of McDonnell Douglas Group as he expected. Returning to the ranks of the world's top civil aircraft manufacturers has made McDonnell Douglas a joke around the world: almost three months after the MD-12 program was announced since April, McDonnell Douglas has not only welcomed the flood of collaborators who can stomp on the threshold of his office as he expected at the beginning.

That's it!

Thinking of the horrific consequences of the failure of the MD-12 project, McDonald Jr. could no longer hold back, and he glanced up at the clocks on the wall—each with a nameplate hanging underneath them, indicating that the clock showed the time in that time zone—and found the one that represented the East Eighth District, well, it was morning......

..................

"Mike?" Hearing the familiar voice on the phone, Chen Geng's tone was full of surprise: "At this time, the United States should be more than 11 o'clock in the evening, why haven't you rested yet?"

"That's right, it's evening, but I'm still in the office," McDonald Jr. sighed, "Dude, I'm calling you at this time to ask for help." ”

In the current situation, McDonald Jr. finally can't hold on anymore, and the facts have proved that at this point, face is not valuable.

Chen Geng laughed secretly in his heart when he heard this, but his voice was very serious: "Well, you say, I'll listen." ”

"MD-12," McDonald Jr. took a long breath and said bitterly: "Fernandez, it's been three months, MD-12 hasn't found a partner yet, everyone is suspicious of me, now only you can help me, if you don't want to help me, McDonnell Douglas, MD-12, and me, it's all over." ”

"MD-12 hasn't found a partner yet, can't it?" said Chen Geng in surprise.
