Chapter 16: First Encounter

In a bustling street of London, Alan was flipping through the notebook from the scrap wizard, and on the bench beside him sat Anne, who was playing with Tibbs with one hand and three big words of impatience written on her face. Pen, fun, and www.biquge.info

Alan initially flipped through the notebook only because the system had a weak reaction to it, and he spent his time waiting for Warlock's reconnaissance information to read it as an idle book. However, after a few days of research, he had become more and more aware of the Wizard's talent for potions—probably comparable to Snape's, because as far as Alan had carefully read before, he had made his own unique changes to most potions!

However, that's not the most important thing - when Eren had a general idea of the potion recipe, he discovered a new recipe that he knew all too well - the Wolf Poison Potion!

Nearly every blank space in the pages of the notes about the scrap wizard's invention of the potion poured out his love for the werewolf named Nelly - if Alan hadn't been interested enough in the actual invention of the potion, he would never have eaten the dog food.

The wolf poison potion has a lot of play in the original books, and Professor Lupin would probably be unemployed if it weren't for the help of this potion - but the problem is, if Alan remembers correctly, the inventor of the potion would have been the uncle of a Hogwarts wizard!

Wait--if Eren hadn't shown up in that werewolf tribe, nine out of ten that tribe would have been wiped out! Naturally, the scrap wizard wouldn't have been able to escape - and his notebook would have been lost。。。。。。

A push interrupted Allen's thoughts, and in front of him was Anne's angry face.

"Brother, my tooth hurts!"

"Yes, that's why I'm taking you to the dentist. Alan looked calm.

Well, yes, they're in a dentist's office right now.

And luckily, after learning that the patient was a little girl, the doctor said in Ellen's evening appointment that he could help Alan with their treatment on Saturday if he didn't mind that there was a little girl from his family who was present - you know, if it was a normal time, the treatment would not have been until Monday, and that would have been the case if there was no one in line.

As for the cause of the treatment, it had to be told when Alan returned.

The large pile of candy was not only welcomed by the children en masse, but also calmed Anne's petty anger at Ellen not taking her out of the house - it is worth mentioning that Anne was given a large pile of candy due to Alan's partiality.

Although the girl had another stomach for desserts, it was a pity that she only had one set of teeth—and so Anne, who had eaten too many sweets at once, behaved very rightly about the lost desserts—and she had a toothache.

Although Allen's combat power can be regarded as an ordinary wizard, life magic is his shortcoming, and more importantly, he has no relevant books - he has no choice but to seek help from the dentist.

It's also a punishment for the bear child---Alan thought to himself as she looked at the tear-watering Anne in pain—who made her eat so many sweets in one night without heeding advice!

The dentist was a very friendly guy with brown hair, and when he learned that Alan and the others were only two children, he complained to their parents - he thought it was a crime to let the children eat too much sweets or let them go to the doctor alone.

"Oh sir, you're mistaken, we're orphanage kids, and this is my sister. Alan pointed at Anne, stopping the kind dentist from complaining.

The zealous dentist was stunned for a moment, and his eyes softened as he looked at the two of them—"Oh, well, son, forgive me for my presumptuousness, you can sit there and wait"—and he pointed to one of the back rooms within the room.

"Catherine, please take care of this little friend. He cried out to his wife, a very gentle-looking lady.

The dentist whispered a few words to his wife, and then the lady's eyes lit up with love, and she led Alan to the rest room in the inner room, which was used by the couple themselves.

Alan was treated to a large plate of sugar-free snacks and a steaming cup of black tea - though he felt very tasteless - not because the food didn't taste good, but because the lady was so welcoming!

Not to mention that Alan was a little tired of this kind of child-like conversation—the atmosphere of which he hadn't tried in so long—and even his efforts to pretend to be a good baby couldn't answer those questions about school life and how the summer was going to be.

What should he say?

Dear madam, I have nothing to do with my classmates one day, occasionally ride a broomstick, and turn beetles or something into buttons?

Or maybe our teachers are all good, but the ghost teacher's class is too addictive?

Or maybe I killed dozens of vampires without doing anything else during the holidays?

。。。。。。

I don't have to say it, let's make it up, combined with Allen's reading experience back then and the experience of studying in elementary school here, mixed with a little discussion of the orphanage children, Allen successfully didn't let the conversation develop in a too magical direction.

Finally, just as Alan was about to finish making it up, a heavenly voice came to his ears - the dentist had finally called his kind wife away.

Alan touched the non-existent sweat on his head for no apparent reason - he felt more tired of dealing with this lady than dealing with a group of vampires.

At this moment, a little girl ran out of the back room holding a book that was far out of proportion to her stature, and she called out to her mother and pointed to the open book, which must have been in trouble while reading and had come to ask for help.

Then she saw Alan, and in Alan's incredulous gaze, the little girl with messy hair not only did not have a trace of shyness when she saw the living, but put the book in front of him—"Well, will you do this question?"

Alan suddenly felt that it was not Anne over there who was seeing the doctor, but himself -- why did he come after a question and answer about it? Did he come to see a doctor or did he come for an interview?

But the problems are all in front of you, Alan can't say no coldly, right?

But soon he regretted it - the question asked by this little girl was not only completely beyond her age, but also full of weight, and if it were not for the foundation left by the devil's education back then, he would have been ashamed。。。。。。

Half an hour later, when the lady returned to the lounge, she saw Alan and her daughter with a serious face.

"Granger, don't bother with your tedious questions!"
