Chapter 12: A wizard who wants to become a werewolf
Warlock was as reliable as ever, and if it weren't for the fact that conditions didn't allow it now, Alan might have fed him a small packet of good owl food at the moment - no way, after spending so much time with the owls at Hogwarts, he had involuntarily contracted this hobby. Although Eren deliberately searched for loot out of a habit peculiar to a veteran RPG player, it was a pity that the vampires clearly didn't have the good habit of carrying coins when they went out into a fight so that their opponents could collect their corpses - another bunch of poor ghosts.
Even Alan himself was a little surprised that he could solve the battle so quickly - these vampires were so watery that they kept stupidly chasing after them, and they couldn't even detach a person to surround them!
They had a lot of magic but they had to follow the path, it was just a few tents, which could be ignited with magic to prevent Eren from sneaking in, and they didn't even cast a spell on Eren while chasing!
No scouting, no hunting, no magical persecution, no verbal intimidation, not even the most basic cooperation - if the vampires were really like that, then sooner or later the race would be finished, or to put it mildly, take the jujube pill?
But for Allen, it doesn't matter to him that vampires aren't finished—and he even wishes the race was going to end sooner, because the best enemies are the dead.
It stands to reason that Eren should have walked away at this time - he had no reason to help the werewolves who had no kindness to him - to be precise, if it weren't for the werewolves who got in the way, he would have been able to beat up the Auror who had been chasing him all the way this afternoon - he wasn't the glittering Golden Gallon, how could he be so charming!
As for the werewolves' promise not to deliver him to the Aurors?hehe, will they be caught without themselves?
The only thing that made him a little reluctant was something in the leader's body—something that caused a great reaction from the system—and what it was, it was unknown.
Originally, his first instinct was to run away, but at this moment, the unexpected weakness of these vampires made him hesitate.
Walk, or stay and take an adventure?
Alan began to think about the pros and cons.
But his thoughts were soon interrupted - Warlock gave a warning!
Alan drew his wand and pointed at the place where Warlot had prompted.
"Don't!"—an exclamation made Eren stop the spell he was about to utter—a voice he knew well, and it was the owner of the voice who had forced Alan to eat this afternoon.
"Come out!" Alan didn't put down his wand, and calmly gave the order - he wouldn't be at ease with someone who had eaten and met in the afternoon, especially if he was a werewolf.
Werewolves?
Why can he still speak human words?
Sure enough, the one who came out with his wand raised in the air to show that he had given up resistance was not a werewolf, but a wizard who looked exactly like the afternoon.
"Wizard, you're not a werewolf?" asked Alan as he stepped forward quickly, snatching his wand.
"No, I'm not, I just wanted to be and I wasn't recognized. The man shook his head and replied with a grim expression.
Do you want to be a werewolf? What are you kidding, there are a lot of strange things every year? Or should I say that the forest is big and there are all kinds of birds.
But it's none of Alan's business, if he wants to be a werewolf, let him be. Alan tossed his wand aside.
"If you want, you can do it, good luck, but before I leave, I'll give you a piece of advice - hide well, the vampires are in, although it is estimated that you will win, but you should stay away from the battlefield with this kind of combat power. Alan turned away, leaving the words to him - of course, Warlow kept an eye on the man for any movement.
As soon as Alan figured it out, the human heart is not enough to swallow an elephant, and greed is too easy to kill himself - so he decides to give up his risky behavior and go straight away.
Seeing Alan walking in the direction away from the battlefield, the man over there suddenly shouted: "Hey, the battlefield is over there!"
Alan didn't reply: "I know, so I'm out of the battlefield!"
"You can't! they need you!" the man rushed towards Alan excitedly.
A spell that exploded on the ground stopped his intentions, and Alan turned around:
"I don't care what you have to do with them, they have nothing to do with me anyway!
If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have had to get into this damn place at all.
I was neither invited nor treated as a guest.
I was even attacked with drugs and smoke.
So- why should I help them?"
"But they're really good people。。。。。。 ”
"Good guy, good guy who keeps people in check, or good guy who keeps claiming to be drugged for guests?"
There was a moment of dumbness.
Then under Allen's surprised gaze, the man knelt down.
"Coward!" - an obstacle spell came from Allen's wand and knocked the man to the ground, he hated this kind of man who played the emotional card for no reason!
"Grab your wand and kneel and beg for something, why not summon up the courage to fight!"
"I can't, I can't beat even the weakest vampire, I- I'm almost a squib!" the man shouted with a roar of pain.
"So, please, save Nelly, I can't live without her! I know you can, those three vampires will be wiped out by you in just a moment!"
He struggled to his feet and fell to his knees again, his head heavily bowed.
。。。。。。
Squibs, the most miserable of mages - they know everything about the mysterious wizarding world, but they are separated from it by a thick glass wall.
They are often the most ungifted of wizards, not only watching others practice magic with envy, but also suffering from the discrimination imposed on them - for wizards, Squibs are the embodiment of shame.
After a brief silence, Alan spoke.
"Who's Nelly? a werewolf?"
"A rather lovely girl, my lover. The man jerked his head up, and a glow called hope flowed from the corner of his eye.
"How long have you been here?" asked Alan thoughtlessly.
"It's been three years, and I've only had some talent in potions, so 。。。。。。 ”
Before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by Alan.
"Three years? You said you wanted to be a werewolf?"
"Yes, but Nelly won't bite me。。。。。。 ”
This idiot wizard 。。。。。。
Eren turned and left, heading in the direction of the battlefield.
Suddenly, he felt that the unknown object on the vampire was much more attractive, and sure enough, he was still too greedy.
Whatever, if he was scared away by those weak chicken vampires, what would he be?
