Volunteer Teaching Diary 7.5

In the hot season, the village is located in a mountain basin surrounded by green hills and green fields on all sides. The summer wind seems to stick here, and you can feel the heat early in the morning. When the sun fades and the room is still unbearably hot, there is only a hint of coolness outside.

Our hard-working college teachers get up at seven o'clock almost every day, hurriedly grab a few bites of dry food, and then go to school. In fact, often when we were still stuffing dry food in our mouths, a few students would run over and shout, "Teacher, open the door!" Although classes start at 8 o'clock every day, the students start playing in the classroom at 7 o'clock. I think the classroom is probably the place they are most interested in. Meiling's sister had to open the door for them in advance these days. Our home is very close to the school, just a short walk away. Uncle Chen, the owner of the house, is very nice, and in order to facilitate our stay, he also vacated his own room, so this comfortable room has become a place for us to have a small meeting every day.

Although I didn't have my composition class today, I had a lot of homework to correct. Grading essays is really a happy thing, and I can always find the simple happiness in children's hearts. For example, today a child wrote a "supernatural" story about him who took his mother's lip off and hid under the bed. I remember when I was a child, I always called the towel a hairy dog, and when I was sleeping, I especially liked to rub it to see Zhou Gong. Children are all shadows of our past, and what a pleasant thing it is to enjoy the self-named "children's rights"~

As a witch teacher who also gave so much homework during the summer vacation, I found that the children in the same village were of different levels, and it turned out that they were not from the same school. Some children have a wide range of knowledge and read a lot of extracurricular books, while some children are as we expected. I used to simply think that the imbalance in education was mostly reflected in the urban and rural areas, but I did not expect that there would be such a difference between the villages. Maybe all I can do is give them a different sense of the world.

Avoiding direct sunlight on summer days, we moved our PE class to the last session of the afternoon. After digging deep in the past few days, we found a vacant lot behind the farmer's house, where there were two decent baskets and non-standard edges, but we were quite content.

The basketball court is the dividing line between blue skies and white clouds and verdant mountains. The red and white baskets and the tough concrete floor form a beautiful silhouette. The sunlight casts mottled shadows through the basket, and the waterlogged depression suddenly moves, and the light shuttles through the air filled with the smell of sweat, which belongs to the smell of the court. In the summer vacation after the sun sets in the west, you can see a few shirtless boys playing basketball in the sun, the water droplets inlaid them with a gold edge, looking at the light, the teenager and the basketball are glowing, and there are always some traces of youth on the summer basketball court. In such a basketball court, the Chinese Xinchuan women's basketball team defeated the science monster seniors and won the Want Want Ice Ice for the female comrades.

Tonight, at night, the breeze was warm, and we went to chase the sunset with Mu Yan, and we unconsciously blended into the painting in the countryside and fields.
