"Miss Patricia, you have organized this auction well," Chen Geng looked at Patricia Edith Harris's eyes full of appreciation: "I was pleasantly surprised." ”

"Thank you boss, I'll try harder. Patricia Edith Harris was also very happy and smiled and thanked Chen Geng.

Chen Geng nodded: "Do you remember the promise I gave you at the beginning?"

Patricia Edith Harris's eyes widened all at once, and the American was so direct: "You mean ......"

"That's right, the ability you have shown during this period of time has made me expect more from you," Chen Geng said: "If you asked you to come to me as an assistant to the mayor and also serve as the spokesperson of the city government, do you think you are busy?"

This mayor's assistant is not a private one, but a government position, just like the mayor's secretary in China, but all along, the mayor's assistant position is also held by Leilani Taylor, but Leilani Taylor doesn't like this position, she has mentioned this matter to Chen Geng several times, hoping that Chen Geng can find a suitable person to be the mayor's assistant, and she will honestly be Chen Geng's personal assistant.

And when Patricia Edith Harris decided to join Chen Geng's campaign, Chen Geng gave her a promise to help her go higher and further in the political arena, and after observing for a few months and seeing Patricia Edith Harris's ability in person, Chen Geng thought it was time to fulfill this promise.

Patricia Edith Harris has been waiting for Chen Geng's words for a long time, and when she heard this, she didn't hesitate for half a second, took a deep breath, and said, "Boss, I'm fine, I will definitely be able to do both jobs at the same time!"

"Very well, you can go and hand over to Miss Leilani," Chen Geng said with a smile, "Miss Leilani is already very impatient with this job. ”

The corners of Patricia Edith Harris's mouth curled up and she couldn't help but smile.

Of course, Laylani Taylor has no interest in the job of assistant mayor, of course she knows, in fact, it is Laylani Taylor's attitude in this matter that gives Patricia Edith Harris the courage to want this position, if Laylani Tyler is interested in this position, Patricia Edith Harris will never take it from the other party.

……………………

When Patricia Edith Harris replaced Laylani Taylor as assistant mayor of Detroit, a significant test was about to begin in China, far away across the Pacific.

Wang Dazhi, who was wearing a hard hat on his head, held the walkie-talkie tightly in his hand and watched the huge machine in front of him closely.

This is the first high-power gas turbine in China produced by COMAC and improved on the basis of the RB211 turbofan engine introduced by COMAC from Rolls-Royce in the United Kingdom, in which COMAC is responsible for the gas generator part, and the Harbin steam turbine and Hangzhou steam turbine are responsible for the gas turbine part at the back end.

Rolls-Royce's RB211 turbofan engine is indeed a very good, unlimited potential aero engine, in the previous several experiments, RB211 without exception have been successfully ignited, in the RB211 gas generator is a successful ignition success, whether it is COMAC or other cooperative units, are full of confidence in the smooth production of this gas turbine: since the most difficult gas generator part has been done, is it relatively not so difficult gas turbine and other subsystems, Can't the attachment still be done?

Not only what other cooperative units of COMAC think, but also what the military thinks.

Yes, the military attaches great importance to this gas turbine from COMAC and has high hopes!

If the gas turbine of COMAC can be put into production smoothly, it can not only be used in the west-to-east gas transmission project, but also has great significance for the development of China's military equipment. The use of the LM2500 gas turbine power system on the No. 113 destroyer made the Huaxia military realize that the gas turbine has a huge advantage that the traditional steam turbine power system cannot match in modern large-scale sea military equipment, but when the relationship between China and the United States began to cool, and Huaxia could no longer obtain the LM2500 gas turbine from the United States, the RB211 gas turbine of the COMAC Group, which has similar performance to the LM2500 gas turbine, naturally entered the military's sight.

For the RB211 gas turbine of COMAC, the military's previous attitude is actually very optimistic, after the first successful ignition of the gas generator provided by COMAC, the military believes that one to two years of effort should be able to complete the initial integration, but what everyone did not expect is that the 4 gas generator of COMAC Group has not gone wrong, and the gas turbine part of the gas turbine that integrates the scientific research and production and manufacturing strength of the entire Huaxia in the field of steam turbines has repeatedly had problems.

The military is in a hurry.

The above is also in a hurry.

Many projects and units in China are waiting for this gas turbine, can this thing work? When will it work?

In this case, Wang Dazhi, as the general manager of COMAC, is under a lot of pressure!

Of course, the leaders of Harbin steam turbine and Hangzhou steam turbine who provide gas turbines for RB211 gas turbines are under more pressure!

Soon, the inspection information was summarized to Wang Dazhi's side one after another......

"Report to the commander-in-chief, the oil system has been checked, and everything is normal. ”

"Roger. ”

"Report to the commander-in-chief, the fuel supply system is complete and everything is normal. ”

"Roger. ”

"Report to the commander-in-chief, the startup system inspection has been completed, and the startup system and all subsystems are normal. ”

"Roger. ”

"Report to the Commander-in-Chief ......"

…………

Whenever an inspection team reports the situation, Wang Dazhi puts a check mark on the checklist in front of him, and when the checklist in front of him is densely packed with checks, the whole set of inspection work is finally completed, and everything is normal in each system.

But Wang Dazhi's expression was still extremely serious, without the slightest intention of relaxation.

No wonder Wang Dazhi's expression is so serious, in the previous tests, everything is normal in the inspection of various subsystems, but in the end, it is the gas turbine part that drops the chain, thinking of this, looking at the big guy in front of him, Wang Dazhi took a deep breath: I hope this big guy will give face today.

Picking up the walkie-talkie, Wang Dazhi took a deep breath: "Start the machine, prepare!"

The response from the starter team soon came over the walkie-talkie: "Understood! The starter is getting ready!"
