"Their ambitions are indeed not small," Dorothy Killidaire nodded: "So I want to invest in them even more now, if possible, I even want to make my own search engine, but you know, those people in our company are database experts, system experts, but there are no search algorithm experts." ”

"That's ......"

Chen Geng thought for a while and smiled: "Actually, the search engine is not so difficult. ”

"Boss, don't laugh," Dorothy Kiridale's eyes widened in surprise: "If nothing else, a search algorithm alone is the core secret of each search company, how can this not be difficult......"

"You think the problem is too complicated," Chen Geng said with a smile: "I ask you, the vast majority of netizens...... Well, more than 90%, aren't they all ordinary people?"

Dorothy Kiridale nodded, "Of course." ”

Chen Geng asked again: "These people go online on weekdays, and what they do is nothing more than that: watch the news, find some information, and search for some interesting things...... That's basically it, right?"

"Uh...... It seems like this......"

"Since this is the case, it is simple, we can make a static web page, sort out and hang the hyperlinks of the most commonly used web pages of these netizens on weekdays, as long as netizens open this web page, they can immediately see the website they want, as long as they click on the hyperlink, they can immediately jump to the web page they want to go," Chen Geng said this, looking at Dorothy Kiridale. Asked, "What do you think of such a static navigation page?"

Dorothy Kiridale was stupid: "It's still ...... Is it okay to do that?"

After staying in the data research company for so many years, all day long is in contact with the world's top computer technology gods, and Dorothy Kiridale is also half an industry expert, of course, she is no stranger to websites and web technology.

Feelings told her that as long as there are enough website hyperlinks, such a super simple, static web page that can be edited in HTML language only, and has no background and database functions at all, can be made in less than a day, and such a web page is also worthy of being called a search engine?

But the reason told Dorothy Killidale that such a simple navigation page can indeed meet the needs of more than 90% of Internet users for Internet access and search......

Chen Geng said that he simply picked up a pen and drew on the paper: "You see, for example, the first row is everyone's favorite news website, and the first website is ...... The second website is...... The second row is ......"

After quickly finishing the drawing, Chen Geng asked Dorothy Kiridaire: "It's just such a simple static liquid surface similar to the URL Daquan, if we bundle this static page with our Internet Explorer, how much traffic do you say, how much traffic can we snatch from yaho, infoseek, excite, lycos, wanderer and aliweb?"

“......”

Dorothy Kiridale didn't speak, because she was suddenly frightened by what Chen Geng said.

Just like the boss said, such a static, can be called a website with no technical content, can really meet the search needs of more than 90% of Internet users, and most importantly, if this website is deeply bundled with the IE browser of the data research company, it means that overnight, this static web page can occupy 99% of the personal computer......

And the users who use search engines are basically PC users.

Thinking of this, Dorothy Kiridale suddenly shuddered!

Once the navigation page of this website is completed, and the market share of the "Windows" operating system is rapidly rolled out, God bless if one or two of the current search engine companies in the market can survive, but the reason why Dolucy Kiridaire shuddered was not frightened, but excited: "Boss, just this static website page, it is worth setting up a separate company!"

"That's a must," Chen Geng said with a smile: "But it's not all, if here, that is, the most prominent position on the web page, we add a search window, which search engine company is willing to give us shares, we will use whose search window, you say ......"

Before Chen Geng's words were finished, Dorothy Kiridale, who had already understood what Chen Geng meant, screamed: "If that's the case, we can even get at least 50% of the shares of our favorite search engine without spending a penny! Boss, you are really a genius! Super genius!"

Dorothy Kiridale is served!

Completely convinced, although she knew that her boss was a super genius, she didn't expect her boss to be a genius to this extent: just such a static web page, those search companies with nostrils in the sky can kneel down and beg for mercy, and honestly hand over their shares.

The talent of the boss is simply against the sky!

"I'll get this page out when I get back," Dorothy Kirridale said excitedly, "and as for the stake in this company...... Boss, look?"

"I account for 50%," Chen Geng didn't say politely to Dolucy Kiridale: "The remaining 50%, 20% to the company, 30% to the company's veterans, including Dolucy, is a little benefit I give to everyone." ”

Dorothy Kiridale was a little excited, and a little embarrassed: "This ...... Boss, will there be too many?"

She knows very well that this is just a simple static web page, but if the operation is good, this static web page can at least be exchanged for hundreds of millions of dollars, which is equivalent to a net profit of tens of millions of dollars without doing anything?

Dorothy Kiridaire's heart was really a little terrified.

"That's it," Chen Gengyi waved his hand and said irrefutably: "You hurry up and let people make this website, the name of this website ......"

Speaking of this, Chen Geng's bad taste suddenly flareed up: "Well, it's called 'good123', just use ''' for the URL, it's easy to remember." ”

Hao123, I'm sorry, since buddy stole your idea, let's use this way to commemorate you.

“good123？”

Dorothy Kiridale's eyes widened in surprise, and she wanted to complain about Chen Geng's ability to come up with a name: What kind of name is this?

Chen Geng understood what Dorothy Kiridaire meant, but he only used one sentence to convince Dorothy: "But don't you think the name of this navigation site is very catchy and easy to remember?"

Hey?

Makes sense.

Dorothy Kiridaire smacked it and couldn't help but nod: really, the name good123 is really easy to remember.
