Chapter 13: Crossing the Lake
"The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes, please leave your luggage on the train and we will take you to the school. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ο½ο½ο½Uο½Eγ ο½ο½ο½ο½β
The radio from the train was already urging, and Percy, who had not known where to hide earlier, also returned, urging his younger brother to change into a school uniform - his mother's words obviously did not work well, although Alan felt that Percy seemed to be the one who should be taken care of compared to the twinsγγγγγγ
After trying it on in advance, Alan was able to put on the school uniform without any problems, only to be instructed to change the accessories - he couldn't be blamed, he wasn't used to robes like the Weasleys.
The train slowed down and finally stopped. Passengers on the train began to push and shove, rushing to the door and descending to a small, dark platform. At this time, it was already night, and the weather in September in the UK was not a friendly one, and the cold wind from the mountains cooled down the excited brains of the first-year students.
However, this was obviously only the beginning, because when Alan saw the nearly two-man lantern man over there, he suddenly remembered Hogwarts' welcome to the new students, to enter the school by boat.
Usually we talk about boating on a sunny summer morning, a group of single dogs or two lovers of love, in an artificial lake or other small waters, take a small boat, swing on the safe water, and spend this hot summer day happily in the rippling blue waves.
And what about Hogwarts?
Hehe......
Led by Hagrid, a group of excited and worried freshmen stumbled and stumbled down a steep and narrow path - it was worth mentioning that there was no light source other than the lamp in Hagrid's hand, which made Alan wonder if this was some magical protective magic at work, because it was hard to imagine that the path that Hagrid could easily pass through seemed steep and narrow to the eyes of their students.
After turning the last corner, Hagrid raised the lamp in his hand, and at the same time Alan heard the unanimous cries of his classmates walking in front of him, and he hurried forward, so, in the dim light, he saw the castle that he had longed for countless times in his previous life.
On the lake, which encompasses half of Hogwarts, is a towering castle on a hillside, with spires and windows twinkling under the stars.
Under Hagrid's command, the group quickly assigns their places in a small boat on the lake, and the brothers Allen and George Fred get on a boat with a small tail - a timid girl.
Originally, the three of them were planning to share a boat, but just as they were about to set sail, the girl stood up and made her request in a bass voice almost like a mosquito chirping: "Hello, my name is Angelina Johnson, can I share a boat with you?"
Angelina Johnson?Allen felt a little familiar with the name, and then began to laugh at his own confusion, the current students of this school, except for a few people in the sixth and seventh grades who were sure not to appear in the original plot, everyone else felt familiar was a normal thing.
Naturally, the three of them would not refuse a little girl's request, so in Hagrid's order. The small boats carrying the newborns immediately rowed across the mirror-like lake, and the speed of the boat allowed the damp wind to carry away the last shred of heat from the train.
As the boat sailed, the towering Hogwarts drew closer and closer, and after Hagrid's bowing command, the group carried them through the ivy curtain that covered the cliff front to the hidden open entrance.
Finally they followed a dark tunnel to the castle and reached what resembled an underground pier, where they ended their journey on the waterway and stepped onto a ground of gravel and small pebbles.
After Hagrid counted the number of new students, they climbed a tunnel in the rocks by the light of Hagrid's lantern and finally reached a flat, damp meadow in the shadow of the castle.
In front of the meadow, there is a stone staircase of nearly 100 steps, and on top of the stone staircase is a large and terrifying oak door, the gate of Hogwarts Castle.
After Hagrid raised a large fist and knocked three times on the castle gate, the castle door suddenly opened.
The door was opened by a tall black-haired witch in an emerald green robe, who was thin compared to the door, and she said to Hagrid with a serious expression, "This is this year's freshman? Thank you, Hagrid, your job is done, leave it to me." β
Needless to say, Alan thought of the man who was qualified to welcome the new students, Professor McGonagall, the vice-chancellor, and by the way, he finally remembered who the timid little girl was.
Angelina Johnson, Harry Potter's good teammate, Hogwarts chaser, Harry's fifth-year Quidditch captain, a cheerful and generous girl, who does things vigorously, can't help but surprise Alan, what happened to make this timid little girl completely change a person?
Wait, Alan suddenly remembered another important piece of information about the little girl - she was Fred Weasley's dance partner at the Final Four Tournament, which was Harry's fourth year, and Fred's sixth year.
This seems a little subtle, Alan looks at the excited twin brother with gossip eyes, and Fred sneezes inadvertently and mutters, "Oh, George, I think I have a cold." β
Happy to you, Fred, anyway, since I'm here, I won't let you fall in the final battle, and I hope that this girl who has changed no less than Ginny will catch this trickster who knows nothing about love soon.
As for George, don't worry, Lee Jordan is a good boy - anyway, the FFF group said that the opposite sex is only to reproduce offspring, and the same sex is true love.
So, the sneezing sounded in the crowd and on George in front of Allen at the same time, along with George's words: "Oh, Fred, it seems that you are right, this damn weather is indeed prone to colds." β
The next three sneezes apparently caught Professor McGonagall's attention, and with a wave of her wand, the flames on the torches on the surrounding walls suddenly increased several times larger - a hand that immediately stopped the group of students who were already whispering.
"Alright, freshmen, welcome to Hogwarts. Professor McGonagall paused, "Next, follow me." β
