Eighty-eight The ends of the earth

When I finally saw the shoreline, the lights below gradually began to increase.

As soon as I stepped off the plane, I felt the hot flashes that characterize the island. Xiao Gang, Candy, and her dad had been waiting at the exit for a long time, and I was a little upset that I had waited an extra hour because I had misquoted my flight number.

Sitting in Candy's dad's car, I turned my phone back on.

"Strange why is there still no signal?" I muttered to myself.

Zhang Qi poked his head and glanced at my mobile phone: "Didn't you open roaming outside the province?"

As soon as Zhang Qi reminded me, I immediately came to my senses, and I hurriedly borrowed a mobile phone from him and dialed home. After about half an hour, my mother called back and told me that roaming was activated.

After rebooting the power, the phone finally worked.

The airport is very close to the city, Candy's dad drove us to the door of a hotel, Candy had already booked a room for us, so it didn't take long for us to get the room card at the front desk.

The journey was tiring, and although I ate on the plane, I was already hungry after such a long time. Anyway, it was close to the city center, so Candy took us to a nearby Hong Kong-style restaurant. Walking into the restaurant, we sat down at a table by the window, ordered something casually, and devoured it, while around us was a group of clerks waiting for it to close.

The city of Haikou is really strange, it was only 9 o'clock in the evening, the shops on the street were closed, there was nowhere to go after eating and drinking, Zhang Qi and I had no choice but to go back to the hotel to sleep. Xiao Gang lived at Candy's house, and the four of them said goodbye to each other at the door of the restaurant, and then parted ways.

Early the next morning, Xiao Gang and his wife took Aunt Candy's car to pick us up, and after morning tea at a nearby restaurant, Aunt Candy dropped us off at the bus station.

Today we are going to complete the journey from Haikou to Sanya, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, nearly 300 kilometers. It is said that all the expressways in Hainan do not have toll booths, and the expressways are connected to the city roads, which makes us feel very novel.

We didn't go directly to Sanya, but bought a ticket to Qionghai, where the world-famous Boao Forum for Asia will be located. A few years ago, Boao was just a small fishing village, but that all changed with the advent of the Asian Forum.

Summer is the off-season for Hainan tourism, and we went early, and there were only four of us on the Boao tourism line.

"It's like our chartered car!" Candy couldn't help but tease in a good mood.

But before our excitement could last, it suddenly began to rain outside the car window. Now we are no longer in the mood to look at the scenery, and we are desperately praying that the rain will stop all the way. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful, and when the car came to the Boao Monastery, the rain had begun to gradually become lighter.

I ran to the ticket hall in the rain, bought the tickets, and took two more photos at the door, but the rain really stopped, and the sun showed half of its head from the dark clouds.

The temple is the same everywhere, and I don't see anything special from beginning to end. After all, we didn't come to see the temple today, so we immediately hurried to the next attraction - Yudai Beach.

This is the place where several rivers such as the Wanquan River converge into the sea, and the sandbar we will go to by boat is the famous Yudaitan. It is the dividing line between the river and the sea, with the river on the left side of the sandbar and the sea on the right side of the sandbar, which is the only place in the world. The boat was slowly moving forward in the river, and we were all so excited, we all thought it looked good, and we wanted to take two pictures of everything, and before we knew it, we had murdered a lot of camera memory space.

Disembarking and walking on the sandbank, the waves of the sea outside the continent are flying, and the river water inside the continent is rippling, which is a wonderful feeling that cannot be described in words. Frolicking all the way, soon we came to the end of the sandbar. The sea and the river meet here, and the rolling tide meets the rushing river, and I can't believe that there is such a magnificent scenery in the world if it were not for the immersive scene.

At noon, the coolness after the heavy rain was already left under the sunshine, and overlooking the Boao Forum for Asia site on the other side, several white tents like sails formed the main line of the building, dynamic and elegant. It's a pity that the venue has not been open to the public recently, which has left us with some regrets.

Back in Qionghai, we didn't make a long stop, and after a hurried lunch at KFC opposite the station, we immediately took a ride to Sanya. The highway to Sanya is built along the coast, and the side of the road is full of coconut trees with island characteristics, all the way to see the scenery completely different from the usual day, but not too tired, until the evening, we finally arrived in Sanya.

After waiting for a few minutes in the square in front of the station, Uncle Candy picked us up in his car.

The pre-booked guesthouse is located in a luxury complex, close to the sea, just across the road. At the entrance of the complex we called the innkeeper and in less than three minutes, the owner appeared.

Following the boss, we walked into a residential building and took the elevator to the 22nd floor.

"This is the room you have booked. "The owner took the key, opened the door, and stood at the door and said to us.

Walking into the room, the decoration inside is not bad, the light is also good, open the floor-to-ceiling curtains, there is a vast sea in front of you, and you can actually see the famous scenic spot in Sanya - Lu Huitou.

All this made us feel very satisfied, and the boss took Xiao Gang to look at the room after collecting the deposit.

The next day I woke up from my sleep and walked to the balcony to see the sunrise. Looking at the golden sea of the morning glow, my mood was also relaxed. According to last night's agreement, we came to the gate of the community on time at 7 o'clock, and Uncle Candy drove us to Nanshan Cultural Garden.

The most famous of Nanshan is the statue of Guanyin in the South China Sea, which is said to cost more than 100 million yuan, which is comparable to the Statue of Liberty in the United States. But unlike the Statue of Liberty, which is located on a small island and faces the sea, this Nanhai Guanyin has its back to the sea and faces the land.

The carving of Guanyin is very meticulous, the lines are soft but solemn, and it is indeed beautiful. Nanshan vegetarian food is even more famous, looking at the plates of chicken, duck and fish made of vegetarian ingredients, we can't help but have a great appetite.

Leaving Nanshan, at my strong recommendation, we went to Daxiaodongtian again. Xiao Gang and Candy seemed to be a little unable to walk, but they just symbolically looked at the small cave sky, and then hid under the shade of the tree on the side to rest.

There was a mountain road next to Xiaodongtian, and Zhang Qi and I were full of energy and climbed straight up. Halfway up the mountainside, we unexpectedly found a pine tree protected by an iron fence, after reading the introduction next to it, it turned out that this ordinary pine tree turned out to be the old pine that we often hang on our lips "Shoubi Nanshan Immortal Pine", the tree is densely hung with red ribbons that symbolize longevity, and it looks beautiful at a glance.

Just as I was about to continue to the top of the mountain, I received a call from Xiao Gang urging us to go down the mountain. We had no choice but to take a photo with the old pine and then hurriedly descend the mountain.

Xiao Gang and Candy shouted tired, and after some discussion, Xiao Gang and they decided to go back to the hotel to rest first, while Zhang Qi and I went to the ends of the earth together.

The weather in Hainan is really strange, just now it was still a sunny sky, and suddenly the sky was dark. When we reached the beach, a torrential rain poured. We didn't even have an umbrella, and there was no place to hide from the rain on the huge beach, so we had to wrap the camera and mobile phone in our clothes, stuff them into our backpacks, and then protect our backpacks with our bodies, and ran aimlessly on the beach. We finally found a stall for digital snapshots, but under a small parasol, it was already crowded with more than a dozen tourists sheltering from the rain, and there was nowhere to go, so we had to squeeze into half of our bodies, and finally had a place to stay......

The rain that didn't get yesterday was all made up today. It rained for an hour, but luckily the clothes in our bags weren't wet, so we found a place to change our clothes and then continued to head towards the ends of the earth.

The first thing we pass by is the Nantian Pillar that we can see on two yuan every day, and we will naturally not let go of such an iconic scenic spot. The heavy rain stopped at the beginning and there were not many tourists on the beach, which also made us a blessing in disguise. Otherwise, if it were a normal one, I really wouldn't know whether I was filming people or scenes.

As soon as we pass the pillar in the south sky, we can see the end of the world at the end of the beach in the distance.

It is said that the end of the world is actually just a few large reefs by the sea, the side by the beach is engraved with "the end of the world", and the side by the sea is engraved with "cape", in order to indicate that this is the farthest point of Chinese mainland. Although we were a little disappointed, we were all here, and we still had to take pictures, and we hurriedly put the words "the end of the world" into the camera, and we couldn't wait to go home.
