Chapter 12: Lucius the Dead

Well, it seems that the words of the author written at the end are not visible on the client, so I put them at the beginning.

First of all, some time ago, all kinds of days were broken because of the game.,Although I didn't brush it myself.,But it's taking up a lot of time.,D3This kind of brush game is almost boring.,Unless it's a ladder.ใ€‚ So, at least this week, I won't be playing that thing anymore and spending my time on codewords.

Secondly, I received it in more than 10,000 words at the signing station, but I was too lazy to sign the contract, and I didn't want to exchange the book for money, otherwise I would have gone to Feilu a long time ago. Trust me, I know that Feilu was able to make money much earlier than most of you.

Finally, I really haven't had much energy lately, and it's getting hotter and hotter. If you pay attention, you will find that the preschool part of this volume is particularly long, and that is because this secret room incident is too simple to solve, and it can be solved within ten chapters if you are serious, so you either complicate the simple problem or write something else.

I'll start working hard tomorrow, and I'm not going to write 100,000 words in this volume, it's good to have 60,000 or 70,000.

The strawberry peanut butter ice cream tastes okay, but only Neville can happily eat the ice cream while effortlessly carving his way out of the crowd like an icebreaker.

"Neville is almost omnipotent. โ€

Harry lamented that it had saved a lot of effort for them to follow behind, but it was still very hard, and the coolness of the ice cream had been dispelled by the lively crowd.

Each of them grabbed a copy of "Breaking with the Female Ghost", and although it was a little bad to cut the line, except for Hermione, the others didn't really want Gilderoy Lockhart's autograph.

"Oh, you're here, that's great. Mrs. Weasley said, breathing heavily, patting her hair incessantly, "We'll see him in a moment......"

The hottest wizard of the moment was sitting behind his desk, surrounded by large photographs of himself. The faces in the photo are all blinking at the crowd, showing their white teeth. He himself wore a robe as blue as forget-me-nots, matching his blue eyes, and a pointed wizard's hat playfully crooked over his curly hair.

It has to be said, but in terms of appearance, Gilderoy Lockhart is pretty good, but Neville still doesn't understand why this man, who seems to be more than supposed to advertise toothbrushes and toothpaste, is so popular.

The majority of the crowd seemed to be witches of Mrs. Weasley's age, and it stands to reason that these housewives had long passed the stage of chasing stars, but now they seemed to have regained their youth, holding up the books in their hands, shouting the name of Gilderoy Lockhart, and they didn't know how their husbands would feel when they saw it.

Neville glanced at Mr. Weasley, perhaps he hadn't had enough of talking to the Granger at the Leaky Cauldron, they were still talking. The topic seems to be the British general election held some time ago, and the Conservative Party unexpectedly defeated the Labour Party this year, won four consecutive victories, and remained in power.

โ€œโ€ฆโ€ฆ Your Prime Minister knows that we have zร i, but there is an agreement between us......"

Mr. Weasley is similar to Hagrid in one place, and that is that they are not very tight-mouthed, and from time to time they will accidentally leak something, which may or may not be important.

Probably only a normal person like the Granger would be interested in these things, and Mr. Weasley didn't seem to have had a good chat with someone for a long time.

But then again, Hermione's parents were both dentists, but their teeth weren't as white as Gilderoy Lockhart, whose teeth were like magic, and they were dazzlingly white.

Harry didn't like Gilderoy Lockhart, even when he got a whole set of autographed books from him, because he felt like a puppet being grabbed by the bag and taken for a photo, and the short videographer's camera flash had barely blinded Harry.

It wasn't a pleasant experience, it was terrible.

"Here's to you. Harry poured the book into Ginny's cauldron and said to her vaguely, "I'll buy it myselfโ€”"

There is no worst thing, only worse.

"You must love that, Potter?"

Harry straightened up and greeted Malfoy, the usual mocking smile on his face.

"The famous Harry Potter. "You can't even go into a bookstore without being on the front page." โ€

"Don't talk nonsense, he doesn't want that!" said Ginny, the first time she had spoken in front of Harry, glaring at Malfoy.

After so many years in the wizarding world, some families have died out, while others are still tenacious, and Weasley and Malfoy are notoriously bitter enemies.

"Potter, you've got a girlfriend!" Malfoy said in a long voice.

Ginny's face flushed, and she didn't know whether she was shy or angry, and she couldn't say a word.

"It's you again, Malfoy. โ€

Just then, Neville squeezed out with a stack of Lockhart's books. Although it had only been a summer vacation, Neville looked to be a little taller, and he was now almost half a foot taller than Malfoy. He frowned, stared at Malfoy with an unkind expression, and said nothing, and Malfoy was already sweating.

Even if it wasn't Hogwarts, his deterrent power was still there, and Malfoy felt the urge to leave almost the moment he saw Neville.

If his father, Lucius Malfoy, hadn't shown up, he might have run away.

It wasn't the first time Neville had seen Lucius, and as before, the arrogant man couldn't see anything but the sky.

Mr. Weasley walked towards the place as soon as Lucius appeared, his face no longer as casual as when he had just laughed with the Grangers, but instead a gloomy one like a cumulonimbus cloud.

"Ahhh โ€

Lucius placed one hand on Malfoy's shoulder, a sneer on his face that was exactly the same as his son's.

"Lucius. Mr. Weasley nodded coldly.

"I heard that my brother is very busy with official business. Lucius said, "So many plagiarisms...... I suppose they're paying you overtime, right?" he reached into Ginny's cauldron and pulled out a tattered copy of the Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration from between the new, shiny Lockhart books.

"It doesn't seem to be. Oh my God, if you can't even get a good pay, what's the good of being a scum among wizards?"

Mr. Weasley's face was even redder than Ginny's, and he suppressed his anger and said in a deep voice, "We have very different opinions about what the scum of wizards is. โ€

"Of course. โ€

Lucius's pale eyes flickered, and his gaze fell on the Grangers, who were watching them with fear.

"Look at the friends you've made, Weasley...... I thought your family had fallen to the limit. โ€

I don't know what Mr. Weasley's spell level is, anyway, he waited a while and showed that the level of hand-to-hand combat was not as good as Neville's, at least Neville could guarantee that a light punch would send Lucius to St. Mungo's Hospital to lie down for a month.

With a clang, Ginny's cauldron flew out. Mr. Weasley lunged at Mr. Malfoy, knocking him into a bookshelf, dozens of thick spell books falling on their heads.

There is no such thing as the Juvenile Protection Act in the wizarding world, otherwise Neville could have gone up and beaten Lucius violently, and even if he was killed, he would have been expelled from school, and then break the wand that was not his in the first place, and forbid the use of magic in the future, at a very small cost.

Unfortunately, all Neville could do at this time was to separate the two.

Of course, because of someone's teaching, he did it very technically, probably holding Lucius's two hands down and dragging him to the side slowly.

As long as Mr. Weasley is not honest enough to be like the two people in the novel, and resolutely does not fall into the trap of Lucius, today's beating is enough for Lucius to recuperate for a while.

Neville was too obvious for Malfoy to look down on, but before he could take a step, the three Weasley boys on the other side punched and kicked him to the ground.

Being able to give birth and raise is also an ability, and in addition to Ginny, the Weasley family has six boys.

Then again, Mrs. Weasley was in a sense that she gave birth to a whole Quidditch team?

In the midst of the confusion, no one noticed that a book with a black cover fell out of Lucius's arms......
