If you want to make pottery, you have to have clay, so I started looking for clay on the island to make pottery.

I searched for clay on a desert island with great hope, and I knew that I couldn't find high-quality clay here, but I could make pottery as long as it was the standard for playing with mud as a child.

But I searched every inch of the island, but I couldn't find any clay or mud to work on.

The soil on this small island is mostly sandy and the viscosity is very low, and it is difficult to store even rainwater, but the sand contains a lot of corrosive material to barely retain water, and there is a lot of rainfall here, so plants can grow, but the vegetation on the island is not very lush, which is likely to be because of the soil viscosity on the island can not store water.

Since there was no suitable clay and mud for firing pottery on the island, I would have to find another way.

I remember when I was in elementary school, my nature teacher did an experiment, that is, an experiment of boiling water with a matchbox, and I thought it was incredible, how could a carton boil water.

Later, the teacher said that most of the heat is absorbed by water, because the boiling point of water under normal pressure is only 100 degrees, so the temperature reaches 100 degrees after heating the water boils, and the temperature will not rise again if it is heated and remains at 100 degrees. However, the ignition point of the paper is higher than 100 degrees, so no matter how the heating temperature is, it will not reach the ignition point of the paper, and the paper will not be ignited!

I couldn't wait to remove the coir pot from the fire, it's hot and I need to put it down before I can eat it.

The solar cooker I made is not very efficient, its reflectivity is not very strong and it is not large enough, only in the middle of the day when the sun is full and the temperature is high to boil the water, and it can also be used to stew seafood soup, but it takes a little longer.

I also found an unknown plant, I don't know how to use it, don't touch it, if it's a poisonous plant, it's troublesome, the first element of survival in the wild is that you will have a strong will with food, but there is another point is not to touch those animals and plants that you are not familiar with, so as not to have terrible consequences, that is, poisoning, if poisoning is called in this place called heaven and earth, you will die.

But another unfortunate discovery I made was that there was a lot of plastic waste on the island.
