Uncle Lian Jie does charity, and the main target is the disaster area.

In fact, there are countless people in need of help, and their experiences are also varied, but Uncle Lian Jie is based on his own experience of disasters, so his charity is basically biased towards disaster relief and relief.

As a descendant, Zhou Fangyuan is very clear that in several relatively large natural disasters in China after the 21st century, Uncle Lian Jie, or the figure of the fund, has always been looming in it.

For example, in the case of the Wenchuan earthquake, One Foundation raised 40 million yuan to donate to the disaster area, and in the Yushu earthquake, Uncle Lian Jie donated more than 2 million yuan worth of various earthquake relief materials to the disaster area in his personal capacity. These two times, the degree of involvement of One Fund is actually not high, perhaps because the amount of funds is not large, or perhaps because of the lack of experience at the beginning, in short, the performance of One Fund can only be said to be okay.

In fact, it is understandable that as a foundation that has just been established, One Foundation has limited financial resources and limited capabilities, and the most important thing is the issue of experience.

You must know that the One Foundation was established in 07, Wenchuan in 08, Yushu in 10 years, for the One Foundation, it was too sudden, there was no experience before, and there was no good way to deal with it, so it could only be in the form of donations to help the disaster area. Therefore, in the next few years, the changes of One Fund became obvious.

For example, the Ya'an earthquake.

On April 20, 2013, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Ya'an, and as of 20:00 on April 20, the confirmed disaster relief donations of One Foundation have exceeded 10 million yuan, in addition to some intentional donations that have not yet been confirmed.

At 4 a.m. on April 21, 2013, the Ya'an Disaster Relief Emergency Plan was officially released: the first stage of emergency search and rescue, mainly to save lives and rescue materials, the second stage is the post-disaster resettlement within 4-8 weeks of the occurrence of natural disasters to ensure the basic living needs of the victims, and the third stage is the post-disaster reconstruction period from the occurrence of the disaster to 1-2 years, providing psychological rehabilitation facilities and services for post-disaster children. One Foundation also pledged that the donations will be strictly limited to three phases of disaster relief.

On the 21st, on the day of the earthquake, the joint disaster relief partners Shaanxi Hanzhong Volunteer Association, Guiyang Zhongyi Volunteer Service Development Center, Zunyi Volunteer Association, and Xichang Institute of Ecology and Environmental Protection respectively shipped the first batch of materials from Xi'an, Guiyang, Zunyi, and Chengdu warehouses, including large tents, quilts, emergency lights, sleeping bags, color striped cloth, sanitary products, daily necessities, jacks, Gionee mobile phones, water, Food and anti-inflammatory drugs have arrived in Ya'an, and distribution is being arranged according to the feedback from the frontline.

Among them, 70 strips of colored cloth and 80 quilts were distributed to local villagers by the Xichang Ecological and Environmental Protection Association in Shangli Town, Ya'an City. Twelve relief tents were also set up in the afternoon at seven primary schools in Shangli Township, which were in dire condition after the earthquake, and the weather was sometimes cloudy and rainy, leaving students without safe shelter. After the tents were transported to the school, they were set up as a temporary shelter in Qijia Village with the help of volunteers and villagers, and provided a safe place for children. At the same time, the rescue operation also distributed 170 pieces of colored striped cloth, 240 quilts, and daily and sanitary products to Gonghe Village, Qijia Village, and Miaoyuan Village in Shangli Town.

The work of post-disaster recovery and reconstruction is arduous and lengthy compared to the moment when a natural disaster occurs. After the "April 20" Lushan earthquake, One Foundation, together with the government and non-governmental non-profit organizations and other partners, carried out emergency relief, transitional resettlement and post-disaster reconstruction work, benefiting a total of 400,000 people. Since 2014, after the end of the emergency relief and transitional resettlement work, One Foundation has focused its efforts on supporting the reconstruction work in the post-earthquake area of Lushan with disaster reduction as the core, with the goal of creating a resilient home where everyone has the awareness of disaster reduction and every family has the ability to resist earthquakes. The post-disaster reconstruction of One Foundation Lushan mainly includes four parts: the Earthquake Disaster Reduction Demonstration Campus, the Earthquake Disaster Reduction Demonstration Community, the One Paradise Project and the Chengdu One Foundation "Youth and Future Disaster Prevention Experience Hall", which not only focuses on the construction of hardware facilities, but also focuses on improving the "soft" power of schools and communities to cope with future disasters.

In the Lushan earthquake emergency rescue operation, a total of 28 rescue teams of more than 250 people from the One Foundation Rescue Alliance carried out rescue, searched a total of 16 villages, and 600 people were transferred to deliver supplies to more than 1,200 villagers scattered in 30 villages. In the process of receiving, sorting, distributing and transporting disaster relief materials, 57 social welfare organizations and 708 volunteers from the One Foundation Joint Disaster Relief Network transported more than 1,000 tons of relief materials to the disaster areas, benefiting 130,000 people in 121 villages in 20 hard-hit townships.

One Foundation has set up 50 One Paradise children's service stations in 23 townships and towns in three counties and one district of Ya'an, and carried out a total of 1,027 activities for 5,548 children on the themes of safety, disaster reduction education and child protection, and installed 70 water purification equipment for 61 schools in 6 counties and 2 districts of Ya'an City, so that 24,027 children can drink clean water.

In addition, One Foundation has equipped 96 boarding schools with 459 washing machines and cleaning supplies, so that 12,204 children can wear clean clothes, and built solar-powered public baths for 18 boarding schools, 5 hospitals, 3 centralized resettlement sites and 33 township health centers, providing 150 tons of hot water for bathing for 6,000 people every day. In 2013, One Foundation distributed warmth packs to 18,557 children in the disaster area to ensure their physical and mental health.

In the field of earthquake disaster reduction demonstration campuses, One Foundation has invited a number of well-known designers at home and abroad to design and build campuses with rich architectural functions and diverse spaces according to the different characteristics of each aided school, and equipped the school with teaching equipment, so that the school can become a place to promote the all-round development of children and an activity center of the community. Of the 8 earthquake-resistant and disaster-reducing schools, 14 rural kindergartens and 20 disaster-sheltering sports fields, 6 schools and 11 disaster-sheltering sports fields have been completed and put into use, and 6 kindergartens have started construction. At the same time, One Foundation also plans to carry out the "Disaster Reduction Demonstration Campus" project in 100 schools in Ya'an, and has completed the first two batches of project activities for a total of 60 schools, comprehensively improving children's self-protection and the "soft" power of school disaster reduction and child protection from four aspects: teacher capacity building, child safety education, campus risk management and campus safety culture construction.

In the field of earthquake disaster reduction demonstration community construction, One Foundation is based on helping rural communities improve their ability to cope with future disasters, focusing on safe farm housing, public disaster reduction mechanism construction and rural technical personnel training, and has successively carried out rural craftsman training, steel structure earthquake resistant farm houses and community disaster reduction center construction. A total of 2,054 rural craftsmen have been trained, 358 steel structure earthquake-resistant farmhouses have been built, and 10 community disaster reduction centers have been completed and put into use. In addition, One Foundation also launched the Safe Farm Project in December 2015 to enhance the community's self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities at the three levels of "farmer-group-village" by setting up a community volunteer rescue team, improving the community disaster emergency plan, and equipping disaster mitigation, rescue materials and emergency identification systems.

At the same time, One Foundation also aims to help children in post-disaster areas develop their potential in happiness by improving the quality of arts and physical education. In the past three years, One Foundation has launched the "One Paradise" project in 8 districts and counties of Ya'an, renovating 119 music classrooms for schools, providing 104 sets of sports and amusement facilities, and providing teaching skills training for 221 music and physical education teachers.

Therefore, earthquake relief is not a matter of one or two days, it does not mean that people are rescued and the rubble is cleaned up. It takes time to rebuild the city, restore life, and especially dispel the gloom in the hearts of ordinary people. It is not difficult to survive, you can survive with food, drink and shelter, but life is a very complicated thing. And the more large-scale projects like this, with the strength of One Foundation, the more it needs to be fully invested. So sometimes I feel that One Foundation didn't come forward when some disasters happened, not because I didn't want to, but because it couldn't do more because of its size.

One Fund has invested a lot of manpower, material and financial resources in Lushan, and it is not only Lushan.

At 16:30 on August 3, 2014, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in Ludian County, Yunnan Province, resulting in 617 deaths, 112 missing, 3,143 injuries, and 1.138 million people affected.

After the earthquake, One Foundation cooperated with the government and non-governmental non-profit organizations and other partners to carry out emergency rescue and transitional resettlement work. Drawing on the experience of the "4.20" Lushan earthquake reconstruction, One Foundation focused on the reconstruction work with the basic goal of "disaster reduction as the core and creating a resilient home" in the Ludian earthquake-stricken area, mainly including the earthquake disaster reduction demonstration community, the earthquake disaster reduction demonstration campus and the One Paradise project.

Demonstration Community for Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Mitigation - Before the Ludian earthquake, the local farmhouses were mainly civil structures, and the load-bearing structural form of the earth walls could not meet the basic structure requirements of the seismic needs, and the overall seismic resistance of the houses was extremely low. In the post-earthquake reconstruction stage, One Foundation actively explored and adopted the model of "centralized point reconstruction and self-construction by retail investors" to carry out the construction of steel structure earthquake-resistant farmhouses. As of July 2016, Yijia has completed the construction of 734 earthquake-resistant farmhouses in Ludian County, Qiaojia County and Huize County, and 2,612 people have directly benefited. At the same time, in response to the problem of weak community disaster reduction capacity, One Foundation plans to implement safe farm projects in 14 rural communities in the post-earthquake area of Ludian from 2016 to 2017 with the core concept of "public welfare for all" The trinity of self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities helps communities better cope with potential disasters in the future.

Earthquake Disaster Mitigation Demonstration Campus - In the post-disaster reconstruction of Ludian, One Foundation combined with the actual local situation in Ludian and cooperated with well-known designers on Baodao to design and build a child-oriented school. In March 2015, the teaching building of Guangming Primary School in Longtoushan Town, Ludian County, which was aided by One Foundation, was completed and put into use, and in May of the same year, the teacher's dormitory of Guangming Primary School was put into use, and in September 2015, the teaching building of Queluo Primary School in Huodehong Town, Ludian County, which was built with the assistance of One Foundation, was put into use, and the student dormitory building, teachers' dormitory building and affiliated kindergarten were also completed and will be put into use after acceptance. In the future, One Foundation also plans to carry out the "Disaster Reduction Demonstration Campus" project in 10 schools in Ludian to comprehensively improve the comprehensive ability of teachers and students to deal with disasters from four aspects: teacher capacity building, child safety education, campus risk management and campus safety culture.

At the same time, One Foundation also launched the One Paradise project in the post-earthquake area of Ludian to improve the quality of music and physical education, and help children in the post-earthquake area develop their potential in happiness. As of July 2016, a total of 10 Yiyuan music classrooms have been built in 10 schools in five disaster-stricken townships, including Longtoushan Township, Huodehong Township and Lehong Township in Ludian County, and 13 rural music teachers have been trained in teaching skills, benefiting a total of 10,009 children. From 2016 to 2017, One Foundation also plans to carry out the second phase of the One Paradise - Music Classroom Project, and at the same time plans to implement the One Paradise - Sports Club project and carry out training for physical education teachers, so as to improve the physical education environment of the school and promote the development of children's potential.

It can be said that as a charitable foundation, it is already quite good to be able to achieve this level, not that it cannot give higher expectations, but it also needs time to grow, and nothing can be achieved overnight.

But at such times, there are always people who will stand up and say something cool.

For example, a netizen named "One or Two Moons and Half a Pot of Old Wine" once broke the news on Weibo that according to the donation page of the One Foundation's English official website, the money received by One Foundation was to be transferred to the Red Cross account, but the Chinese official website did not mention it, but repeatedly emphasized the separation with the Red Cross. "One or two moons and half a pot of old wine" emphasizes that the One Foundation cannot deceive everyone, and must give everyone the right to know.

In this regard, Uncle Lian Jie also quickly responded at the time, saying, "One Foundation will definitely respect the overall wishes of donors and earmark funds for disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction." I am convinced that no one has the audacity to divert or misuse this money from all over the country. As for the specific amount of donations, One Foundation will be announced to the public as soon as possible based on the actual receipt. At the same time, the names of the 11 directors of the One Foundation were also announced, including well-known entrepreneurs such as Erma and Yiniu, and Wang Shi was in charge of operation.

This is enough to explain the problem, if anyone suspects Uncle Lian Jie of embezzling the charity fund...... So many big bulls are directors, do they all want to save face for that little bit of charity fund?

Then, on April 22, 2014, April.com, which was real-name verified as a "well-known Chinese political and ideological commentary website", posted a Weibo questioning Uncle Lian Jie's embezzlement of 300 million yuan in donations from the Ya'an earthquake, on the grounds that the data on the donated funds and the approved funds did not match...... This is simply ridiculous, after the charity fund is fundraised, who will spend the money all at once? If it is just a simple financial aid, it is naturally understandable. However, the One Foundation's routine is to use charitable donations to carry out various reconstructions in the disaster area, so that the use of all charitable donations must be in batches, before and after.

As for embezzlement or something, it's even more nonsense, you must know that Uncle Lian Jie announced his retirement from film, the total salary of the three movies was 450 million, and if the tax is removed, he will definitely be deducted a lot, but with his identity and status at that time, he just came out to make a few movies, and the income of hundreds of millions was proper, how stupid is he, will he use charity to make money for himself? How stupid is he, will he give up the film career, and then engage in charity, and then use charity to make profits?

All those who question him, stand up, and their contribution can be one percent of Uncle Lian Jie's, even if they have a conscience. But no, questioning is questioning, really contributing...... These people can't do it at all, they can't do it, and they won't do it, but they use their dark eyes to wantonly treat a person who is dedicated to charity, to be honest, as a bystander, Zhou Fangyuan feels sad when he looks at it. In particular, Uncle Lian Jie, who was sitting in front of him, was still old, which was very different from the one in the movie, which made Zhou Fangyuan feel sad from the bottom of his heart.
