For more than 10 years, Chen Haitong's unit has been improving the propellant, and more is trying to find a way to the propellant itself, but it is limited to testing methods, and it is difficult to intuitively observe the process of propellant combustion and obtain specific data.
But the bullet is produced by the bullet factory, and the tolerance between the charge and the weight of the bullet is not measured when the bullet is produced, and the coaxiality between the bullet and the cartridge case is not well controlled, and the tolerance between the initial velocity of the bullet and the chamber pressure is not measured, which is a fart!
For this reason, the propellant and the bullet factory are also at odds with each other, and neither side will let anyone.
In the past, the imitation process generally attached importance to guns, and did not pay much attention to bullets and propellants, especially when a large number of imitation Soviet-style light weapons were made, the specialization was divided into small and narrow, although the gun, ammunition, and medicine were a small system, but the specialties were so finely divided, from beginning to end, there was no interdisciplinary discipline that integrated guns, ammunition, and medicine, so decades have passed, and experts who understand the entire system and occupy the top position can say that there is no, and no one is studying this large system at all, and there is a lack of theoretical research.
Moreover, up to now, the state's research and development of ammunition has been completed in the form of a general battle, what kind of weapons and ammunition are needed at the top level, and then dozens of domestic factories and enterprises will form a temporary national team to complete the problems explained by the state.
There are only a few bullet factories and propellant factories in China, and all the others are gun factories, and more than 20 gun factories are staring at these bullet factories and propellant factories, which makes these bullet factories and propellant factories very stressful.
When the design of the firearm is completed, the team is disbanded, and the firearms and weapons and ammunition produced will naturally encounter various problems after they are delivered to the troops, but there is no one to track the quality of the weapons and ammunition and continuously improve it.
Until now, this has been the case with the development and production of light weapons in China.
Not to mention anything else, the caliber of the 5.8 mm small-caliber bullet determined in China was determined by the division of labor of 25 units, and the upper limit of the small-caliber was 6.0 mm at that time, so as to determine 6.0, 5.8, 5.6, 5.4 mm and other calibers, and then handed over to each unit according to regional conditions, developed separately, to the end only 6.0 mm and 5.8 mm two schemes into the selection, through the selection test, the result is that the 5.8 mm scheme is slightly better, the above clapper set the 5.8 mm scheme.

The ballistic optimization scheme is used to determine the caliber of the bullet, the mass and the muzzle velocity, and the bullets required by different gun types are designed, and then the combustion rate of these bullet propellants is determined to control the speed of the chamber pressure drop, so as to determine the loading amount of the propellant and the processing technology of the pill, and the runout of the muzzle velocity is strictly controlled, so that when each bullet reaches the muzzle, the vibration phase of the muzzle end face changes less.
This is determined, and the length of the barrel and the size of the bore and rifling are determined.
Because in the process of firing, the barrel vibrates due to the action of gunpowder gas during firing, the impact when the automaton is re-entered into place, and the weight of the barrel and the uneven distribution of mass, and the vibration form of the barrel is very complex, generally lateral, longitudinal and torsional.
It is very complex for weapon designers to control and reduce the vibration of the barrel and automaton reset impact during the design process, and to make the warhead fly out of the muzzle and make the most favorable phase coordination with the vibration, and to design a reasonable firing frequency to cooperate with these vibrations.
This process involves how to reasonably distribute the mass of the barrel and the mass of the gun itself, and if parts such as air guide hoops are installed in the belly of the first high-order vibration wave to reduce vibrations, this requires very complex calculations and extremely rich design experience.
