Arrogant first interview
Through various efforts, the school has invited many enterprises to come to the school in batches to recruit fresh graduates. Among them, Huayuan Radix Chemical Co., Ltd., a well-known Sino-foreign joint venture in Changzhou at that time, came to our school to recruit students, and many students in our class went to sign up and got the opportunity to interview. At the suggestion of my dormitory friend, I also signed up for a try.
There was already a long queue outside the interview room, and when it was my turn to go in for an interview, I walked in and saw two women and one man sitting at the long table where the two lecterns were put together, I bowed, and as soon as my butt was on the stool, the female interviewer on the other side began to ask me: "Xiao Zhao, what are your special advantages compared with your classmates and alumni?"
"I wrote the best pen and brush writing in the class, and I also won the second prize in the school's calligraphy competition and the second prize in the school's prose essay competition. I explained it bluntly, and the other female interviewer next to me was jotting something on the paper, and the man was sitting in the middle with glasses and watching me.
"Mr. Zhao, may I ask what is the purpose of your coming to our company and what is your goal?", the man with glasses in the middle began to ask me.
Without thinking, I replied categorically: "The purpose of my visit to Huayuan Company is to find a job, obtain financial resources to live, and support myself; ”
As soon as the words were finished, the three of them looked at each other with a blank look, and then the rest of the air and time seemed to be stiff, and there was a feeling of solidification, and you can imagine that no one on the scene dared to ask you a second question...... This is probably the most arrogant one they have ever met since interviewing all the students! Yes, arrogance is not illegal, but there is a price to pay, and after more than five seconds of silence, I was kicked out of the door of this large Changzhou company as I wished.
I don't think I'm wrong about anything, as the saying goes, "a soldier who doesn't want to be a general is not a good soldier", the three interviewers seem to be deliberately angry with me, everyone in our class went to the interview, except for me, basically all of them were admitted and hired by the company. In the graduation guest book, in addition to all kinds of praise and blessings among my classmates, I also received the same official and final message from three students: unruly! I don't think I've done anything wrong, and I don't feel that my values have deviated from the correct and normal track, I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't want to do it with half the effort, why should I do it with half the effort!
