Chapter Ninety-Eight: At Stake
"Ahh
The guard fell at Bai Letian's feet, he rolled over, struggled to get up, his body staggered, his clothes were covered with dust, and he pounced on the guard's body, grabbed his neck with both hands, and pressed down with all his might.
Paul fell backwards to the ground, his hands over his face, silent, his whole body shaking, and saliva flowed from the corners of his mouth.
The guard opened his mouth wide, he could smell the dark beer in his breath, his face turned dark purple, he instinctively raised his hand, his lower body kept twisting, his right leg arched, his hands desperately supported Bai Letian's neck, his nails pierced into the flesh, like thistles, and he muttered something in his mouth, probably scolding.
Bai Lotian tried his best, his thighs pressed against his chest, and he held on until the guard slowly bent his arms and his whole body went limp, then he let go and lay next to him, his hands straightened, one thigh still flat on his chest, panting heavily.
The guard passed out, and he wouldn't be looking for trouble for a while.
After a long while, Bai Lotian pinched his bruised chin, grinned, let out a long breath, struggled to get up, came to Paul's side, bent down, and patted him on the cheek.
"Dude, are you feeling better?"
"Uh, it fucking hurts, I'm going to die. ”
"You're about to meet Jenny. ”
"You know, it's going to be like this, and you won't be killed, let alone Jenny. ”
"That's not what you mean. ”
"Well, you win. Stinky boy, pull me along. Paul twisted and stretched out his arm to Bai Lotian.
Bai Lotian grabbed his hand, his teeth rattled, and he pulled his body hard.
Together, the two moved the guard lying on the ground to a corner, like dragging a plastic mannequin, and found some plant leaves to cover him, looking like a pair of garbage.
Coming to the end of the corridor, the two of them looked up and saw that there was nothing unusual here, just an ordinary wall blocking the way. The color of the walls is the same as the ceiling in the hallway, the same as the blue sky.
Bai Lotian stretched out his hands and pushed the wall in front of him hard, not moving at all, as steady as Mount Tai.
Paul stood next to him, saw this scene, also put his palm on the wall, gritted his teeth and pushed, still the same, couldn't help but curse, withdrew his palm, and leaned his back against the wall.
"Is it just a wall?" Bai Lotian said stupidly.
"No way. Paul gestured into the distance, "Have a master guard a wall, do you believe it, buddy?"
"Well, that makes sense, it's just that we didn't find a way to open the door. ”
The "bang" startled the two of them, perhaps Paul had touched a mechanism, and a steel plate fell from the ceiling behind them, locking them in like a closed container.
The two of them pounded with their fists and kicked with their feet, but there was only a muffled sound. They lay down on their stomachs, their fingers clasping the lower edge of the steel plate, trying to pull it up, but to no avail.
They were exhausted and panting, and they sat on the floor, their faces full of helplessness and fear.
"It's a trap, what's going to be done, can't you be trapped here?" shouted Paul, tapping on the floor.
"There is no end in life, and there is no end for heroes. ”
"What do you mean?"
"There must be a way out. Bai Lotian pointed to his head, which means to use his brain.
When the two of them were at a loss for what to do, the lights on the wall flickered, and a picture appeared, with dark clouds, torrential rain, thunder and lightning, and many colors of flowers chaotically interspersed in between, as if they were children's graffiti paintings.
Bai Lotian jumped up, stood in front of the painting, confused, and reached out to touch the dark clouds above.
"Ahh
Bai Lotian looked up and saw a row of sharp knives sticking out of the ceiling, shining silver, about half a meter long. He tensed, and his fingers touched the frame again. I saw that the sharp knives on top had advanced dozens of centimeters downward, closer to the top of their heads, and at this speed, they would soon be able to stick them into the floor.
"Wow, is this the way you came up with it? Paul jumped around in anger like a frog.
Bai Letian's face flushed, he didn't say anything, he froze there, he didn't dare to make a mistake again, he was like a statue, but his eyes were still moving rapidly, pondering the doorway.
"There's definitely a password for that. ”
"Nonsense, fools know, the key is what the password is. ”
"Give me some time, I'll try again. ”
"I can give it, but I'm afraid that the sharp knife is unwilling. Paul quipped.
"If you don't look closely, it's a graffiti. Bai Lotian walked left and right, his eyes staring at the wall, and said to himself, "If you study carefully, the painting is depicted very much like a hurricane in summer." You see, this is the eye of the hurricane, the wind is calm, the waves are quiet, this is the outer cloud system of the hurricane, which sets off strong winds and waves, and here, the results of the hurricane, thunder, rain, wind, etc. ”
"What do you think all this has to do with passwords?"
"yes, I'm not working on it, am I?"
"Quick, quick, quick, please show me your research results before the knife is plunged into my head. Cut!"
Time ticked by, Bai Lotian touched his chin and paced in front of the wall, sometimes looking up at the sharp knife above his head, sometimes looking down in contemplation.
Paul sat flat on the ground, his head swaying from side to side as he moved, until he saw Bai Lotian clapping his hands and exclaiming, "There you have it!"
