Listing testimonials
According to the starting convention, I should have written a shelf testimonial, and this is the second time I have written a shelf testimonial.
It's hard to say how I'm feeling at the moment, I'm nervous, I don't know how this book will go, as I once told the joke:
"Once upon a time there was a little piglet, and people thought it was too young, and they were ready to fatten it up and kill it, and then ...... The piglet starved to death. ”
That little pig was my last book......
During that year, I was overwhelmed by my depressed and depressed will, and I felt at a loss, because a novel that I had worked so hard to write and conceive ended up rushing to my grandmother's house, and then I finally decided to open a second book.
The Dragon Who Devoured the World
As I said, I originally wanted to use the name "Python of the World", but the title of the book was occupied, and after thinking about it, I felt that the name "The Serpent Who Devoured the World" was not cool enough, and since there is no distinction between dragons and snakes in mythology, let's use the name "The Dragon that Devours the World".
If Gu Bai in "Savage Fierce" is my attempt to depict the image of a mythological epic hero, then the big snake in "The Dragon Devouring the World" is my attempt to depict the image of a mythical monster, a person, a beast, these are my two protagonists.
I actually didn't give the snake a name, at best it was a random fabricated name of "Meng", because the snake was a ferocious and tyrannical beast in my eyes, without humanity at all, but because of this, I found it interesting, I have read too many human stories, it is better to change the story of a monster.
The serpent has no humanity or human desires to speak of, and all he wants is to eat and sleep, but to ...... This kind of monster that devours several civilizations at every turn and eats the sun and moon is bound to be intolerable by humans, so the conflict that breaks out between the heroes and gods who crusade against monsters and the villain monster who is the protagonist is the fundamental idea of this book.
And because of that, it's still just a monster-minded snake, and I didn't give it a human name, but is it going to be just a monster all the time? Or is it going to change? It's actually a very interesting place.
Can the mindless beast be touched by that little bit of humanity?
As for the reason why Norse mythology follows the original mythological plot too much, it is because the core element of Norse mythology lies in the "unchangeable fate", I am not good at forcibly changing, and I feel very distressed, many times I can only make a few small changes, until now, Ragnarok, I can finally write how I want to write unscrupulously!
