But this was our first hike and the students were looking forward to the hike starting soon. At more than seven o'clock, facing the newborn sun, with neat steps, we shouted the slogan of "honing our will and building our hometown" from the school gate.

On the way, the students were curious to walk and look, only to see that the road was wide and clean, the former low houses had become high-rise buildings, and the big trees stood straight, as if they were watching our group of energetic primary school students. Restaurants, supermarkets, and residential areas are scattered on both sides of the road. We watched excitedly and discussed. I thought to myself: Jiyuan has changed a lot in recent years. The roads are flat and wide, and there are many high-rise buildings. Looking at this, I can't help but feel proud that I am a young man from my father's hometown. The team is moving slowly like a long dragon, along Tangdi South Road, to the crossroads, and like a left turn, hiking for nearly an hour, never walked such a long distance, we are a little tired, then the teacher said that it is almost to the science and technology museum, with the password, the loud slogan shouted again, we suddenly have the strength of the body, speed up the pace, stretch the neck to look into the distance. In the distance, you can vaguely see the half-domed building, surrounded by two rectangular pavilions, which is very imposing. We are silently cheering in our hearts, and we all want to see the science and technology museum and speed up our pace.

Finally arrived in front of the Science and Technology Museum, the atmosphere and magnificence of the Science and Technology Museum made us hold our breath one by one, as if we were afraid of destroying the sanctity here. When I walked into the museum, I looked up and saw that the semi-circular top above was empty. When you arrive at the exhibition area, it is divided into three floors. There are six exhibition areas, including Children's Paradise, Human Wisdom, Energy and Environment, and Healthy Life. One of the most memorable for me was the sloping cabin on the second floor, which allowed us to experience the feeling of an earthquake. Next, we visited the City Pavilion. The city pavilion is mainly to display and introduce the appearance and development changes of Jiyuan. There are many smaller buildings in the building. There are majestic basketball cities, beautiful cultural cities, and towns such as Shaoyuan, Wangwu, and Wulongkou surrounded by lofty mountains. Seeing this, it is like seeing a real source of help. Walking back, we saw a large screen, which explained to us the history of Jiyuan and the changes in recent years. From its words, I know that Jiyuan is developing rapidly, and there are many buildings that are newly built, which makes me think of the scene on the road when I came, and the pride of a Jiyuan teenager rises in my heart!

In the end, under the leadership of the teacher, we reluctantly left the Science and Technology Museum and the City Pavilion. Walking on the way back to school, my feet kept moving forward, but my heart still stayed on the scene I just saw, I was thinking: the school gave us an opportunity to hike, visit and understand Jiyuan, I want to participate in more such activities in the future, and I have to work hard to learn knowledge, strive to be a good boy in Yugong's hometown, and build a better tomorrow in my hometown when I grow up!
