At the same time, in order to ensure the safety of the ship, the ship also ordered a set of stabilizers weighing 120 tons from Rolls-Royce to reduce the swaying of the hull under the waves.

This set of stabilizers applies flexible fin control technology and advanced hydrodynamic design to reduce the rocking of the ship in a stationary state, but also to ensure the stability of the ship when sailing, the stabilizing fin can be completely retracted back into the customized fin box, and the hull has no protruding parts when sailing, ensuring the safety of the ship in shallow water.

Of course, Honghu Shipping Company is also developing similar stabilizers.

Again, the company had acquired a Dutch company for the laying of submarine cables and fibre optic cables, which had a submarine cable laying vessel before the nineties of the last century and had experience in this area.

At the beginning of the design, the engineer team of Honghu Shipbuilding Company provided a lot of engineering information and experience, so many design defects were avoided during the design.

Because the size and specifications of the composite photoelectric cables designed and manufactured by Nanao Group are different, the diameter of a cable is half a meter long, with a total of 16 layers, which is the world's largest cross-linked polyethylene insulated submarine composite cable with a length of 82 kilograms.

Compared with the traditional oil-paper insulated submarine cable, this submarine cable has the advantages of easy installation and maintenance, The advantages of safe and reliable performance, but such a heavy cable to be laid on the seabed through the submarine cable construction ship, but also requires as few joints between the cables as possible, the design institute had to design a cable bin that can load more cables, and can load 6000 tons of submarine cables at one time, which means that the construction length of the 550 thousand volt voltage level submarine cable can be increased from the original 30 kilometers to 70 kilometers, which greatly improves the comprehensive capacity of submarine cable construction.

In order to drag such a heavy cable, the cable laying machine equipment on the ship also has to be redesigned, and various test equipment for power and optical cables on the ship must be designed and customized.

The ship is also equipped with a shipboard clean room for composite cables, which can meet the technical environment requirements for on-site production of submarine cable joints with voltage levels of 550 kV and above, and is also equipped with equipment such as welding and testing of optical cable joints.

Because it is a composite cable, these equipment and branches and joints must be jointly developed, designed and manufactured by Nanao Group and Huaxing Group.

Submarine cable engineering is recognized as one of the most complex and difficult large-scale projects in the world, the ship is not only the equipment in the cable laying machine and clean room, but also to carry underwater robots, advanced measuring equipment, buried plows and other equipment for submarine cable laying and maintenance operations.

In particular, the equipment of the buried plough is dragged away by the ship, and the cable is buried while digging a trench on the seabed, and this equipment is the most faulty equipment during the construction of the seabed.

As soon as there was a problem with this set of equipment, the project had to be stopped, and it was necessary to wait until the equipment was repaired before restarting.

This buried plough equipment designed by overseas companies often has seawater infiltrating into the controller causing a short circuit or the hydraulic pipe rupture inside, and it takes more than ten hours or even longer to repair it in such a situation.

And the seabed terrain is very complex, if you encounter a very steep cliff, this equipment can not work, when encountering a very steep slope, the equipment controller must be very careful, because it is easy to turn over this equipment or even tear the cable off.

To this end, the Honghu Shipbuilding Company Design Institute has also developed a set of equipment that can be used for construction in places such as cliffs and steep slopes on the basis of deep-water submersibles, and has also made technical improvements to the traditional buried plow.

The R&D atmosphere of Huaxing Group is very good, and what ideas are developed immediately, Honghu Shipbuilding Company Design Institute has opened its brains in order to solve these engineering and technical problems, and it has also made a lot of strange equipment.

Yang Jie is very supportive of this, as long as there is a good idea, he generally immediately approves the implementation, and there will be no constraints on the technology research and development of the whole group company and other departments, because large and small research and development projects are unified under the management of the expert group of the group company secretariat, and report directly to Yang Jie.

There are serious deficiencies in the construction capacity of submarine optical cable projects in China, and there are problems such as backward ship equipment, low engineering technology and process level, and slow response speed in optical cable laying enterprises, the most prominent of which are old ships, small ship types, and low continuous operation capabilities.

Due to the small tonnage of the cable-laying ship and the backward equipment on board, usually the amount of work that can be completed by the foreign cable-laying ship sailing once is required to be completed 3 to 5 times in China, so it cannot be compared with foreign countries in terms of cost, and there is a lack of experienced engineering and technical teams in this area in China.

However, Yang Jie's attitude towards this is that the experience has been accumulated in a large number of engineering projects, and since there are no projects to do overseas, he will practice in domestic projects first.

As a result, Nanao Group obtained the approval of the National Energy Administration, and cooperated with coastal provinces to start several marine wind power generation model projects.
