Laoshan is located on the Sino-Vietnamese border south of Chuantou Village, Tianbao Town, Malipo County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and straddles the original Sino-Vietnamese boundary pillar No. 12 and No. 13 boundary pillars. The terrain of the old mountain is high in the west and low in the east, steep in the north and gentle in the south, with an altitude of more than 1000-1400 meters.
