Chapter 283: Leaving the Headmaster's Office (1st Shift)

Jon Hart was in the principal's office for almost two weeks or more.

Honestly, aside from being noisy, life here is quite leisurely - reading books, practicing spells, and chatting with the headmasters and stone monsters......

However, as the herbs in Jon's pocket gradually ran out, Fawkes returned to the Headmaster's office much less frequently.

This had to make Jon sigh that the current phoenix was too realistic...... Fortunately, Fawkes didn't leave Jon hungry or thirsty here, just he couldn't eat fresh food every day as before.

Jon was already preparing to leave the Headmaster's office...... He had read all the most important books in the bookcase, though most of them had only memorized them, and he had taken to heart the suggestions and opinions of the principals.

These things take a certain amount of time to understand and digest.

What's more, in the eyes of the outside world, he is missing...... A couple of weeks is fine, but if it drags on a little longer, it will probably arouse suspicion from Umbridge or Malfoy.

Of course, what really made Jon decide was the one thing that happened this morning - Principal Dalyse Derwent was back.

"The girl has been discharged from the hospital. The Hufflepuff-born Hogwarts Headmaster, who was the first to show kindness to Jon Hart, said mildly, "She woke up a few days ago, and St. Mungo's healers kept her for another two days, and after no incident, they discharged her...... I think she'll be back in school in a few days. โ€

"Thank you very, very much, Headmaster Derwent!" Jon said with a pleading expression.

After this period of contact, he knew very well that these principals were very fond of chattering with each other, so although most of them were free to shuttle to other places, they remained in the principal's office......

In order to help himself, Headmaster Derwent spent more than two weeks alone with St. Mungo's magic.

"Nothing. Principal Derwent smiled kindly: "The girl's condition has been very normal during this time, she just fell into a coma, and did not encounter other unexpected ......"

After thanking her again, Jon began to officially consider leaving the Headmaster's office.

It is naturally not okay to leave with a ruddy face and unscathed like this, and you have to make a small change to yourself!

......

"You're late, Potter. When Harry Potter closed the door to the Potions office, Severus Snape inside said coldly.

He was standing with his back to Harry, pulling some of his thoughts out and carefully placing a wisp of silver substance into Dumbledore's meditation basin.

Harry could only pretend he hadn't heard him.

"So......" Snape asked coldly, "you've already practiced?"

"Yes. Harry lied. He couldn't help but regret it in his heart, in fact, he had hardly practiced a single occlumency in private during this time...... Later, if Snape had been to dementor him, he would have found out.

"We'll find out in a moment......" Snape raised his wand.

But just then, the door to Snape's office slammed open, and Draco Malfoy walked in briskly.

"Professor Snape, sir...... I'm sorry...... Oh?" Malfoy looked at Snape and Harry in shock.

"It's okay, Draco. Snape lowered his wand: "Potter is reworking on some Potions basics. โ€

"Oh, is it?" Malfoy looked surprised and happy.

"What's the matter?" Snape asked, looking at Malfoy, flatly.

"We've found Christophe...... He suddenly appeared at the door of Hogwarts, looking weak, but still sane...... Malfoy quickly replied, "Crabbe and Goyle carried him to the school hospital." โ€

"How did he get there?" Snape asked.

"I don't know, sir, he looks too weak. โ€

"Very well, take me over to see him......" Snape nodded, then looked back at Harry, "Potter, we'll have this lesson again tomorrow night." โ€

He turned and strode out of the office, Malfoy following closely behind him.

Harry breathed a sigh of relief.

After a few seconds, his gaze was on the silver floc in the meditation basinโ€”

"I wonder what Snape's memories are about?" Harry thought to himself, and then the ghost came over like a ghost.

......

Christopher Patrick was lying in his hospital bed, drinking a large bottle of recovery potion given to him by Madam Pomfrey, and seemed to be in a better condition...... However, his face was still pale, and he looked weak and skinny.

Several members of the Einsatzgruppen gathered around him, whispering.

Headmaster Umbridge and Professor Snape arrived almost at the same time.

"Professor Umbridge......" Jon said in a very weak voice, holding out his hand as if he was about to get out of bed.

"No explanation, Patrick!" Umbridge said busily, "Those two Weasleys in Gryffindor told me before they left the campus that they threw you into the vanishing cabinet on the second floor. โ€

"Yes......" Jon nodded, then said, "I went to look for them that day, but I only found one, and at the same time I was accidentally attacked by another...... When I woke up, I found myself in a confined space. โ€

"Oh my God...... How did you stay in there for so long?" Pansy Parkinson covered her mouth with some nervousness.

Jon smiled weakly, then picked up his wand and waved it lightly...... An ugly-looking loaf of bread slowly appeared at the end of his wand......

"Transfiguration?" said sixth grade Montay in a loud voice, "Didn't you say that there is some kind of law that Transfiguration can't be used on food?"

"We're starving, who cares about the Gamp Transfiguration Method......" Jon shook his head.

"And how did you get out?" asked Snape with a serious face.

"Apparition shifts......" Jon said, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly.

"You're only in the fourth year, isn't apparition the magic of the sixth year......" Malfoy asked incredulously.

"I know how it works, and luckily it worked the first time. Jon replied, "I really can't help it inside, and when I seem to hear Lady Rosmerta's voice, I know I'm in Hogsmeade...... So I gave it a try......"

Jon explained as Professor Snape's face suddenly changedโ€”

"Patrick, get a good rest...... I need to go back to the office. Snape said with a frown.
