Su Shi "When is the Bright Moon" / He Yongqi
Su Shi "When is the Bright Moon" / He Yongqi
[Interpretation β’ He Yongqi]
Note: Bingchen Mid-Autumn Festival, drinking Dadan, drunk, making this article, and conceiving a child.
When is the bright moon? Ask the wine to the sky! I don't know what year it is in the heavenly palace?
I want to ride the wind back, but I am afraid of Qionglou Yuyu! The high place is unbearable, and I dance to find out the shadow! How it seems to be in the world.
Turn Zhu Pavilion, low Qihu, shine sleeplessly. There should be no hatred, what is the long ...... Don't be round!
People have joys and sorrows, and the moon has clouds and sunny days, and this matter is difficult to complete. Hope... People are long, thousands of miles... Gong Chanjuan.
Note: On the whole, Su Shi was frustrated at this time. Remember, this "frustration" refers to the frustration of Su Shi's life, he can't help himself, he has long been tired of the life in the palace.
There are two aspects of "boredom" here: first, Su Shi's boredom is mainly focused on the people he comes into contact with.
Second, Su Shi was tired of the atmosphere of intrigue in the imperial palace of the Northern Song Dynasty at that time. It bores him, and he wants to escape, to escape from this hell on earth.
It can be seen that Su Shi is unwilling to be a talented man in the palace, like a caged bird, which makes Su Shi feel depressed, and he wants to escape.
What ?ββ land to escape from.
Su Shi is a poet, and the life that the poet yearns for is closer to nature, otherwise, his inspiration and artistic conception for poetry will disappear. This leads to the consequence that poetry cannot be written, and even if it is written, the poetry is blunt, so it is difficult to produce excellent works.
It is equivalent to saying that the oppressive environment restricts Su Shi's creation. Su Shi's heart was very depressed, and he couldn't escape......
This also highlights another yearning of Su Shi, his longing for a life like idle clouds and wild cranes, and the life in the countryside is what Su Shi longs for.
But now, he was forced to stay in the palace, and the people he came into contact with had little taste. Coupled with the court atmosphere of flattery and deceit, Su Shi's heart was tired! Frankly speaking, his heart was drying up.
What should Su Shi do?ββ he is in Cao Ying's heart is in Han, for Su Shi, the palace is his cage. It seems that he is free and noble, but behind the glamour, there is an invisible net that binds him.
In such an environment, it is difficult for Su Shi to still compose poetry?ββ so he can only barely cope with it.
His heart was not in the cage of the palace, Su Shi's body and mind were tortured, and he was about to decadent.
How did Su Shi spend his time in the palace?ββ he used wine to dispel his sorrows! Only with the help of wine did he dare to express the bitterness in his heart; otherwise, he would not dare to say it.
It can be said that the life of the court has almost exhausted Su Shi's mental strength, and the intrigue and strife of the court have made Su Shi discouraged.
The so-called friends around him can't talk to him. What kind of situation is Su Shi?ββ incompatible with poetry and painting, is this what he wants?ββ no.
Su Shi lived for a long time in such a day! He also wasted his years. He knew in his heart that this was not what he wanted.
In frustration, he will miss his loved ones, that is, his brother Ziyu.
Su Zhe is a little younger than Su Shi, both brothers are poets, Su Zhe is one of the eight masters of the Tang and Song dynasties, and his poetry attainments are also very high.
Note: Su Shi misses Ziyou, that is, Su Zhe, this is not to say "Su Zhe is dead", Su Zhe is not dead, he has lived a few years longer than Su Shi.
There is a question here: why does Su Shi miss Su Zhe??ββ Su Zhe is not dead, why does he miss Su Zhe, this is a question.
Su Shi misses Su Zhe for two reasons;
First, Su Zhe is Su Shi's younger brother, a brother! It is normal for an elder brother to miss his younger brother. Second, Su Zhe is also a poet, one of the eight masters of the Tang and Song dynasties, and the two are easy to exchange knowledge in poetry. The two of them have a common language, especially during the period when Su Shi lived in the court, he was particularly depressed, and communication was very precious at this time.
Su Shi wanted to talk to like-minded people and talk about his views on poetry, but there was no one with such attainments in the court. There was no way, he remembered his younger brother Ziyou, and Su Shi felt: Ziyou is better than me at this time.
What does it mean?ββ Su Shi said: Ziyou is better than me, what does ?ββ answer is: Ziyou, as a poet, is in a better situation than me.
That is to say: Ziyou, he can also write poems on the fly, and there is nothing to limit his thoughts. Ziyou is like an old man who retreats to the mountains and forests, free and easy, and can do whatever he likes, Su Shi said: This, Ziyou is better than me, I envy him for this.
is also a poet, Ziyou can write poems as he wants, and in the environment where Ziyou writes poems, no one will disturb him. Ziyou, who retreats to the mountains and forests, has no restrictions on him, ?ββ not, and he is accompanied by birds and beasts, and this pair of Ziyou's poetry will be greatly inspired.
Look at Su Shi again? He is bound by an invisible net in this court; how can there be any leisure and elegance to compose poetry? Su Shi has no reason to write poetry.
Therefore, Su Shi said: I miss my younger brother You, and I also envy my younger brother Su Zhe!
Okay, let's look at the dates of Su Shi and Su Zhe's deaths, which can illustrate some important issues;
Su Shi: January 8, 1037 β August 24, 1101;
On the way back to the north, Su Shi died in Changzhou (now Jiangsu) on July 28 (August 24, 1101) of the first year of the "Jianzhong Yasukuni" at the age of 65.
Look at Su Shi's younger brother Su Zhe, that is, Ziyou;
Su Zhe: 1039-1112;
In the spring of the second year of Zhenghe (1112), he traveled to the West Lake of Yingchang, flooded with water, and wrote poems. In September, the doctor of the ether was appointed to the office. On October 3 (October 25), Su Zhe passed away at the age of 74.
See, did you see it? Ziyou lived a few years longer than Su Shi, which proves that Su Shi's speech in "When Will the Bright Moon Exist" mention "concurrently" Ziyou, this does not mean that Ziyou is dead; Su Shi refers to "Ziyou's situation is better than mine".
Let's enter the theme "When is the bright moon";
Original text: When is the bright moon? Ask the sky for wine! I don't know what year it is in the heavenly palace?
Note: This indicates the situation in which Su Shi lived in the court. "When is the bright moon?" and ask the sky about wine" shows that Su Shi's life in the court is bleak and gray. Su Shi's life is very frustrating, it can be said that this is a low point in Su Shi's life, which has cost him many years.
In addition, "When is the bright moon?" also revealed Su Shi's dissatisfaction, but he didn't dare to say it. He has bitterness in his heart, but he has no one to confide in.
This also illustrates a hidden problem, that is: the power of the magnates in the court is very powerful, and Su Shi has no freedom to "walk". However, Su Shi is disgusted with these, strictly speaking: Su Shi is disgusted with this group of "people" who compete for power and profit.
In such an environment, Su Shi became a marionette between the powerful. The magnates don't care if Su Shi can write poetry, they use Su Shi to decorate the façade, talent.
Note: "I don't know the heavenly palace, what year is it tonight?" Here two points are explained; First, it is talking about the luxury in Su Shi's court.
On the one hand, it has all kinds of treasures, and on the other hand, the powerful and powerful use luxury to show off their wealth, and there is a trend of comparison among officials. Compare what ?ββ who has more treasures and treasures, and who is richer than whom; the ministers do not engage in political business, but devote all their minds to showing off.
Note: The extravagance of the imperial court is incomparably high, which forms a strong contrast with the people. The ministers are rich and have a lot of maids, and the carriages that go out are comparable to the chariots of the emperor, and the people ?ββare hungry and captives are all over the wilderness, and the people are not able to make a living.
The Northern Song Dynasty was not rich ?ββ rich, the ministers were rich, the powerful were rich, but the people were miserable. The people are hungry and captives are all over the wilderness, the court is extremely luxurious, and there is a wind of comparison among the ministers, what do you say? ?
Su Shi lived like this in the court, he felt hopeless, but he didn't dare to say it.
Original text: I want to go back by the wind, but I am afraid of Qionglou Yuyu. The high place is unbearable, and the dance is clear to figure out the shadow!
"I want to go back by the wind, but I'm afraid of Qionglou Yuyu" here indicates Su Shi's helplessness in it.
He was disgusted with the singing and dancing of the magnates, and Su Shi knew that the prosperity of the Northern Song Dynasty was false, and he did not want to stay in this conjured luxury palace. Because he knows that it is all an illusion.
Su Shi also did not want to be in the same league with these powerful people. Su Shi is a poet, and he is not a person at all with those dignitaries. Su Shi was actually very bitter in his heart, because he couldn't help himself, and he became a puppet of the powerful.
"It's cold in the heights, dance and figure out the shadows!" As mentioned earlier, Su Shi's body was involuntarily, he became a marionette between the powerful, and Su Shi did not dare to offend these people.
Su Shi said: A companion to a king is like a tiger, and the ministers are all flattering and intriguing, fighting for power and profit, and this is very dangerous. Among the ministers, no one dared to guarantee that "I will be alive tomorrow", and they might die in an instant. Not only is the king like a tiger, but the power struggle between ministers can be killed at any time. Ministers compete for power and profit, and fight each other; everyone's life is in danger under the struggle for power.
Be careful! Such a struggle for power will make each of them careful everywhere! If they are not careful, they will become the scapegoat of others.
"It's cold in the high places, dance and figure out the shadows! The previous phrase "the benefits are too cold" refers to the danger of the struggle for rights. The second half of the sentence "dancing to figure out the shadow" refers to Su Shi's attitude towards things.
That is to say: for Su Shi, it is very difficult to survive in such a dangerous palace. On the one hand, Su Shi did not have the freedom to "walk away", he was bound by an invisible net. How to survive in such a situation?ββ "dance to figure out the shadow", this is Su Shi's best choice.
What does it mean?ββ "dancing to figure out the shadow" is Su Shi's way of dealing with the world.
Su Shi said: Don't you value my "talent"? I don't write poems. In this cage-like palace, I am an idler. Drinking and watching the scenery is not poetry. Think of me as an idler!
"Dancing to figure out the shadow" also pointed out Su Shi's loneliness.
Su Shi in the court had no poems to write, and he seemed particularly lonely when he entertained himself. He didn't have anyone to confide in......
Note that "what is like in the world" is a general summary of Su Shi's court life, which means: such a life is hell.
This also reflects Su Shi's inner feelings, he is very painful in this environment.
What Su Shi said was not "this is the world", but what Su Shi emphasized: Is this the scene of the world??ββ no, this is the scene of hell.
Note: Su Shi's use of "what seems to be in the world" refers to his current life. That is to say: I, Su Shi, am in the court, and I can't help but live, and I have become an "idler", but those powerful people still refuse to let me go.
The magnates recruited Su Shi into the palace, not to let him compose poems, but to decorate the façade with Su Shi. Su Shi is a celebrity, and the reputation of Bachelor Su, Su Dongpo, and Su Shi is very loud. When it comes to the scholars of Su University, everyone knows that they have been admired for a long time and are rare to see. Su Shi's reputation is very high!
Now that Su Shi has become a "scattered person", the magnates of the court still refuse to let him go. The magnates thought: Su scholars can not write poems, what we want is the prestige of Su scholars. In terms of talent, who can compare to Su Shi's attainments in poetry?ββ no. Su Shi is under my door!
Therefore, even if Su Shi doesn't write poetry, the magnates will not let him go. The name Su Shi is a golden signboard.
Original text: Zhuge, low Qihu, shine sleeplessly. There should be no hatred, what is the long ...... Don't be round!
"Turn to Zhu Pavilion, low Qihu, shine without sleep"; here it is said that Su Shi's life after becoming a "scattered person", this "scattered person" is not what Su Shi wants to do, he has no choice. He wanted to use the "lazy" style to eliminate the importance of the powerful to him. Su Shi said: I live like a wasted person, and the powerful people hate me and think I'm useless, so they will kick me away. At that time, I was free.
In this palace, I don't know how many times I have walked the same road, the same scenery, and the same building. Once, twice, a hundred times, I kept repeating what I did every day, once, twice, a hundred times, and even so, my heart remained the same.
Su Shi has never forgotten what his wish is, he has always wanted to escape from the cage of the palace, he longs to live a life of idle clouds and wild cranes! Only then can Master Su live. Su Shi has never given up on this goal. Returning to the natural rural life is the source of Su Shi's poetic conception, and he has always looked forward to working hard for it.
Note that "Zhuan Ge, low Qihu" refers to "infinite repetition", and the final "Zhao Sleepless" means: I have never given up. Didn't give up anything?ββ returned to the rural life of Xianyun Wild Crane. This is Su Shi's dream, if there is no living environment of idle clouds and wild cranes, then Su Shi would rather throw away the "pen" in his hand.
For a great poet like Su Shi, what the pen means?ββ that's all he has.
Ending Original text: People have joys and sorrows, and the moon is cloudy and sunny, and this matter is difficult to complete. Hope... People are long, thousands of miles... Gong Chanjuan.
"People have joys and sorrows, and the moon has clouds and sunny days, and this matter is difficult to complete in ancient times." Here is Su Shi's sorrowful cry! Su Shi has been suppressed in the court for a long time, and I don't know how many years have passed, but the magnates still have no intention of letting Su Shi go.
Su Shi may be old, and he doesn't know if his long-cherished wish can still be achieved. Five or ten years have passed, and Su Shi is using the image of "scattered people" to eliminate the importance that the magnates attach to him. He hoped that the magnates would treat him as a "waste" and throw him away like waste. It's a pity that Su Shi didn't see this glimmer of hope.
In the end, Su Shi had already given up hope for his ideals! This is not to say that he has given up his ideals, but that "people are rare in middle age," and it is time to know the destiny of heaven. Su Shi didn't know how long he would live, he was already old......
In the end, Su Shi said: I hope... People are long, thousands of miles... Gong Chanjuan!
This is Su Shi's last entrustment, that is, Su Shi believes that it is impossible for him to realize that wish, and in the end he handed over this long-cherished wish to "Providence".
I hope that people will last a long time, and they will be together for thousands of miles.
Conclusion: Through the interpretation of Su Shi's "When Will the Bright Moon Exist", at least let us understand Su Shi as a person. Yes, Su Shi is indeed a great poet, is our understanding of Su Shi just a "poet?ββ is this too monotonous? ?
Behind the poems is Su Shi, a living person; when we read Su Shi's poems, we only understand his thoughts and artistic conceptions, but we ignore the most important part.
It is precisely Su Shi who made this poem, is the interpretation of poetry important?ββ very important.
If you don't interpret it, then all you see is a poem, and only after the poem has been interpreted, can you see the living person behind the poem.
We have not seen Su Shi, and there is a difference of hundreds of years. Our understanding of Su Shi is limited to his poetry. Through interpretation, we see the living Su Shi, he has helplessness, pursuit, and his own longing for lifestyle, the important point is that "he has worked hard for this goal".
I didn't want to decipher the poem because I thought it was too bland. There's nothing particularly appealing about it, but luckily, I read it today.
Whether it's good or bad, it's time to listen to the story, and to have an understanding of Su Shi is also a kind of gain!
- Goodbye.
