Zhiyong later did become a famous calligrapher in history, although it is not as good as Wang Xizhi's offering, but, "Zhencao Thousand Character Text" to understand.

Zhiyong lived a long life of 100 years, but he was a monk and had no descendants, and Wang Xizhi's desire to make the Orchid Pavilion Preface an heirloom was suspended. However, Zhiyong has no son, he still has apprentices, and he passed the "Orchid Pavilion Preface" to his apprentice Zhicai before he died.

In order to live up to the master's trust, he quietly dug a hole in the roof beam and hid the "Orchid Pavilion Preface" inside.

At this time, it was the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. One day, the scholar actually brought two authentic paintings of Wang Xizhi to find a discerning talent, and his confidants appreciated it. After chatting to the end, the scholar sighed and said that although the calligraphy you brought was Wang Xizhi's genuine handwriting, it was not the best! With this in mind, the scholar finally let the scholar say that he had a masterpiece of Wang Xizhi after some temptation and routine.
