Chapter 946: A bunch of nonsense

Even the Zen Hui monk who was still struggling, after hearing Su Ye's words, he stopped struggling and laughed, quite a sense of madness.

"It's the first time I've heard someone talk about self-interest so justifiably!" Zen Hui monk Senran said with a smile: "There is a difference between true and false! Whatever is beneficial to others is good, and what is only beneficial to oneself is evil." As long as it is for the benefit of others, even if it beats and scolds others, it is all good; if it is only for the sake of selfishness, even if it respects and loves others, it is still to curry favor with others, then it is evil! Therefore, it is true and good to do good without asking for anything, and it is hypocrisy to do good when you ask for something! How can it be questioned?"

Su Ye snorted coldly: "That's why you think that the things you did are right from beginning to end, right?"

It's just that except for Su Ye, no one else can hear the words of Monk Zen Hui, and for a while, the three girls on the side are naturally a little inexplicable about Su Ye's sudden words.

It's just that Su Ye heard this Zen Hui monk smile and said: "Amitabha! What is wrong with what the old man has done? Originally, the old man could have improved his cultivation without absorbing the essence of those women, but the old man was willing to help them accumulate good fortune and obtain good fortune in the next life, and he had no selfish intentions.

After Su Ye gritted his teeth, he said in a cold voice: "You have just heard the explanations about the rules of heaven and earth that I said, then you should know! Your so-called help did not let those women who were poisoned by your Huanxi Sect get any blessings! On the contrary, because of your deliberate humiliation, your own soul power has been reduced! After reincarnation, there is still no change!"

Monk Chan Hui snorted disdainfully, and sneered: "Those remarks of yours can only deceive the women next to you, do you think the old man will believe your nonsense? My Buddha is merciful, the world has already made a conclusion, what kind of thing are you, and you come to question my Buddha?"

"But this world doesn't mean that monks are good!" Su Ye reprimanded: "It's because good people become monks, so monks are good! What qualifications do you have to count other people's merits on the heads of people like you? All things must be good and bad, and this is also the rule of heaven and earth! But you prefer to say that as long as a monk is good, isn't this very shameless! What are you?"

Monk Zen Hui was stunned for a moment.

However, seeing that Su Ye didn't have a chance to give this Zen Hui monk a chance to speak, he scolded loudly to himself: "What kind of cause and effect are you talking about! What kind of cultivation in this life and happiness in the next life are not the same as teaching the world to do good deeds with a purpose? If this is the case, doesn't that mean that you are teaching the world to cultivate false goodness? If not, then why do you say that you and your Buddha do not have any purpose to purify sentient beings? Since you say that all beings are equal, then why do you put yourself in a position of superiority, and think that you are superior to others after seeing through the red dust, and look down on all beings like those statues you enshrine?"

Monk Zen Hui was a little speechless for a while, and he wanted to refute Su Ye's words as much as he could.

But the language of this Zen Hui monk has not been organized, and Su Ye spoke again.

"So it's right to be selfish!"

He said: "People live with all kinds of goals, pursuits, and continuous progress! I am afraid that you people have never heard of the story of 'Zigong ransom people' at all!"

Of course, the story of Zigong's ransom, except for Su Ye, can be regarded as well-read, and it is naturally very clear about such a story.

It is said that Gong, a disciple of Confucius, traveled abroad and saw a slave of Lu nationality, so he ransomed him back at his own expense.

According to the regulations of the Lu State at that time, the Lu people were reduced to slaves abroad, and anyone who could spend money to redeem them could go to the state to reimburse the ransom.

However, Zigong ransomed people but was unwilling to accept the ransom reimbursed by the state, and it was rumored to be a good story in Lu for a while.

But when Confucius learned about this incident, he was very angry and blamed Zigong for setting a bad precedent, and from now on, the people of Lu would never want to redeem their compatriots who had become slaves.

If Zigong receives compensation from the state, it will not damage the value of Zigong's actions, and Zigong refuses to get back the money he paid, and others will not want to ransom him again.

Zigong's mistake was to exalt the moral standards that everyone could have attained to a level that was difficult for most people to achieve, which would inevitably discourage many people from redeeming people.

Of course, when the well-read people present heard the story of 'Zigong Ransom', they would inevitably think of the story of 'Zilu Saving People'.

It's about Zilu rescuing a drowning man, and the man thanked him for sending a cow, and Zilu accepted it calmly, and he was inevitably suspected of coercing Entu.

But Confucius was very happy when he learned about it, and said that the people of Lu would definitely have the courage to save those who fell into the water from now on.

Therefore, thousands of years ago, Confucius knew that it was impossible for human nature to help others without any thoughts that were unfavorable to oneself.

Morality that violates common sense and human feelings is the most evil thing in the world.

The so-called goodness should be a concept that everyone can do without harming themselves and benefiting others.

But many people just haven't learned this truth, so they have to jump out of a group of self-proclaimed saints and raise the moral standards of the world.

It is right to say that whatever is true and good should be unselfish.

So why didn't such a person spend all his wealth to help the world?

Before people do something, after all, they don't have to think about their own gains and losses, if the so-called good sacrifice is too great, who can not hesitate?

So what's wrong with being selfish?

After all, not everyone is a saint, a saint can do good deeds without selfishness, but ordinary people are different!

If I have to do everything I have to do to be good, if I have to risk my life to save people without getting anything in return, then why should I do something in pursuit of that unrealistic, illusory afterlife?

So what's wrong with doing good with a purpose?

The difference is only the size of the good, maybe it is just for the comfort and happiness of one's own heart, it is a great good, and doing good for some practical benefit is a small good.

Is it good after all?

As the old saying goes

, as the so-called extremes of things must be opposed.

Those who keep saying that selfless dedication is true and good, but they only fulfill themselves, but they kill the possibility of others doing good, I'm afraid they have to be considered evil, right?

It's just that not everyone can accept all the truths in this world.

For example, this Zen Hui monk laughed madly when he saw it, and shouted hysterically: "One bunch of nonsense!
