This is a letter from an American education expert to his son's kindergarten teacher, expounding his hopes and requirements for the current state of kindergarten education. The full text is as follows:

Hello, my child's kindergarten teachers, I am one of those parents, from the media "Fathers Forum", a group of parents with insight and influence in work, family and life.

We haven't met yet, but we'll see each other soon. I need to apologize in advance because I'm about to be one of those parents. You should know that those people like to find fault and are always overprotective of their children's bad habits.

However, as a protection for children, I may have to ask more than those parents to make you know how to do more and do better in educating your children.

I've been working with children's education, and now I'm teaching those teachers far away from home. In many ways, these teachers are just older children. I also learned a lot from teaching them.

Educating children requires the implementation of national education policies and following educational psychology. You know that the vast majority of our educational policy is based on educational psychology, and it also incorporates some of the latest developments in educational neuroscience.

For example, neuroscience states that no two brains are the same. It makes me think, why are we trying to mold so many children into the same people? That's why I'm writing to you.

I'm sure you know that my son might write numbers from 0 to 20 and be able to express a lot of numbers from 0 to 20, like you're answering a question from a federal government official. You know for sure that the state does not allow you to teach your child to read and write before the age of seven.

By the age of 5 to 7, there are many developmental changes in a child's mind. But there is certainly some reason why some countries are clearly deliberately slowing down the pace of this. And I know that in Finland children younger than these are already taking exams, and there are many facts that I haven't mentioned here.

Children have limited brain space and capacity, and it can be difficult to concentrate and have fun. If a person spends too much time or focuses too much on a certain area, he or she may have a greater interest in this area and will specialize in a certain area. Education requires reading and literacy after a certain age, so that children can focus more on play, even if it is leisure. Play and leisure are not a waste of time, but rather a way for children to develop their curiosity, imagination and creativity. Allowing children to read and write and read too early can shift their attention and success to memorizing and discerning things, rather than curiosity and imagination or thinking. Therefore, as a kindergarten teacher, we should spend more time on nurturing children's curiosity and imagination, rather than filling their minds with rote content prematurely. Children who are playing or idle will have more time to think, which will make him more curious.

We built a big robot for our son to fit in a box at home so he could play. Our living room became almost a Lego position, guarded by soldiers in a square and rectangular formation. They know when to attack your bare feet. We spent a lot of time taking him out to swim, run, or hang out. But we don't teach him these words. Is it in a situation where children are exposed to a lot of practical situations that they should remember a lot of information? This is a question that many people think should and many think it shouldn't.

When I got to the camp, I was convinced that the children had been settled. In order for the children to challenge their desires, as an age permit, ask for numbers, such as building a fortress (my son is an expert at this), and then ask them to describe it in words. They talked about it in the construction, but it was difficult to put it into words.

You're sure to know what I'm looking forward to learning under your watch. I've had a lot of teaching in this area, and if you can learn half of that, I'll have a debt that you will never be able to pay. I hope he stays with you until the end of the year, and I hope he can be better, bolder, and more compassionate.

I knew what environmental challenges he was supposed to face, and I wanted to know what I could do for people. I didn't have the heart to let him go back to the house and cry, because he was not as skilled at reading aloud as the neighbor's child next door.

If, in all the competition, he can persevere, concentrate, be flexible, and know how to think. I believe these skills and what he has learned will serve him well for the rest of his life. However, whether a child succeeds later often depends on whether he loves to learn. Loving learning and not loving learning is the key to a child's success. How they learn will depend on where they succeed. To do that, I need him to love learning after he leaves your classroom. If he can do that, then you are successful teachers. I will be very proud of you.

Now he's learning about machines, but the bad thing is that he doesn't understand how machines work. So, he was desperate to learn to read. I want to figure out how to keep the drive vibrating. It's also a challenge for him. This motivates him to learn to read for pleasure rather than passively accepting it.

All I can give you is help, and if you don't have a learning center, I can ask them to provide you with some resources and help. If you need to count wooden blocks, paint paints, or building blocks, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm in charge of bringing these items together. And it's important that my son's classmates can enjoy these items as well. That way they can learn more. Our society is full of people who lack imagination and creativity.

That's why we're arguing about our education policy and why. I know it's not your fault, it's the fact that it exists. I think we can change the trajectory of people's curiosity. This place is first set up in your classroom, please let me know how I can help you this year. If I do too much and am anxious to help you, it is of course because my son is with you, and there are many boys and girls around him, and I want them to be the best education possible. This kind of education means the cultivation of a love of learning. Rather than rote memorization of facts that are separate from each other.

Also, please do not set up a workbench.
