I'm an 18-year-old girl, and the story I'm going to write is a true love story. When I didn't do well on my exams, I lost all hope in life. My dad always scolded my mom for not loving us. I was always living in tension and no one helped me. It was August 12th, and I met someone for the first time who cared so much about me.
At first, I went to the gym to distract myself from the chaos of my life. In the gym, I tried to chat and laugh with someone, but I didn't talk to him. But whenever I came in or left, he kept an eye on me. Once, I was thirsty, but the drinker was broken. I asked the sports instructor where to get the water and he told me it was available downstairs. I went there and to my surprise, he was standing there with a glass of water in his hand. He handed me the cup and asked if I needed more. I nodded. So he ran and got me another drink. I drank a total of 7 glasses of water that day. He kept staring at me while I drank the water. I asked him what his name was, and he said his name was Rui. After a few conversations, I left.
The next day, he tried to talk to me, but I didn't talk to him much. On Christmas Eve, the gym had a party and we were all singing and dancing, but he didn't. I went to ask him to dance, but he refused. It made me feel embarrassed, but I thought maybe he wasn't interested in dancing. While eating dinner, someone accidentally poured me juice and I went to the bathroom. On the way to the bathroom, he stopped me and said he wanted to talk to me. I stood there looking him in the eye and wondered if he wanted to be with me? I wanted to say okay, but I didn't. I left him and ran home. The next day, when I went to the gym, he was working out. He looked so handsome that I couldn't help but peek at him. He came and asked if we could be friends. I said of course. He screamed with joy, and so did I.
Since then, we've been in touch even closer. He was always there for me whenever I needed him. At that time, he was 22 years old and I had just turned 18, so he seemed much more mature than me. We love each other so much that he wants to go beyond friendship and try to mend my broken home.
One day, I fainted in the gymnasium and was taken to the hospital. The doctor told him I needed a blood transfusion right away. The doctor asked him to give me a blood transfusion, but he refused and soon left. When I came back, I asked him why he refused. He shouted loudly that this was something that the doctor should deal with. I decided not to associate with him anymore, but I missed him in my heart. I left the gym, but every time I went out, I would see his car and try to glance at him, but it was in vain.
A few days later, he and my uncle came to my house. My uncle told my father that he was his friend. I saw him. He looks handsome, but he's not mine.
The next day, I went out with my family. On the way, we saw an accident. The victim was seriously injured and we carried him in the car and took him to the hospital. When I saw that the man who was covered in blood was my friend, I was devastated. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't. I want to hug him, but I can't do that. I kept crying in my heart.
When we arrived at the hospital, the doctor was going to give him a blood transfusion. I asked if I could give him a blood transfusion, and the doctor agreed. Her mother objected at first, but she later agreed. After 10 hours of surgery, he was finally out of danger.
The next day, his friend called and said he wanted to meet me. I went to the hospital and he was lying in a hospital bed with bandages on his body. When he saw me, he whispered that he loved me. He gave me a white gold ring and I kissed him. Then, he closed his eyes. I went back, hoping he would be fine.
However, the doctor called my home and said that something was wrong with his blood and his whole body was infected. That's why he didn't want to donate blood in the first place. He died the day he gave me the ring.
I didn't know because my parents didn't tell me about it. When I woke up the next day, I received a text message from him that he had sent me earlier.
"I love you like your soul. ”
Your heart will weep over what you have lost,
Your soul will laugh at what you find. ”
I lost him, but I still cherish those 13 days we were together. Today, I often reminisce about the time I spent with him. He is gone, but our love remains......
