Daishan Island has the largest area of 1,193 square kilometers, of which the tidal flat covers an area of 1,435 square kilometers, making it the second largest island in the Zhoushan archipelago. It is followed by Daqu Island, with an area of 736 square kilometers (including 137 tidal flats).
