Chapter 396: A Journey to the Isle of Man (Part 2)

The Isle of Man is a 572-square-kilometre island located between Britain and Ireland.

In some cases, it is called the British Isles together with the British Isles and the Isles of Ireland.

To be more precise geographically, it is at the central point between England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The night in Port Douglas (the capital of the Isle of Man) is always enchanting...... At eight o'clock in the evening, when the darkness completely covered the sky, the watchman who sheltered the watchtower signaled that a ship was coming into the harbor.

It was a luxury liner from Rotterdam that arrived via Le Havre, London and Dublin.

As usual, the pilot boarded the dinghy and came out of the harbor to lead the passenger ship into the harbor...... The liner moved smoothly, the iron anchor was slowly lowered, the bow boom was detached from the support cable, and the passenger ship sailed into the narrow entrance to Port Douglas.

As the passenger ship stopped, groups of passengers happily boarded the platform, looking at the night view of the port with some curiosity.

The Isle of Man has always been known for its natural beauty, with a large number of Victorian and Edwardian historical sites, which are popular with tourists from all over the world and have a thriving tourism industry. Of course, the tailless cats and black-faced sheep here are also famous.

......

Among the many tourists, a small couple seems inconspicuous.

They were very young, they were probably not yet adults, the boy had a maturity and sophistication that did not belong to his age, and the girl was a little pale and looked a little sick in the darkness of the night.

"We might have to go to that Muggle inn first. Jon Hart whispered, "Honestly, I don't know if there are wizards on the Isle of Man!"

"Well, you can arrange it!" Astoria Greengrass nodded.

"Follow me!" Jon took the initiative to leave the harbor with Astoria and into an alley.

Taking Astoria out of Greengrass Manor was a plan he had already hatched when he was sick in Hogwarts Hospital.

First of all, Greengrass Manor is not safe...... There was only one house-elf in there now, and Jon didn't think Hod was good enough to keep Astoria safe.

Since Voldemort and the Death Eaters knew about their relationship with Astoria, it was highly likely that they would use Astoria as a threat to themselves.

They haven't done it yet, because the Aurors are still watching the manor...... However, the "protection" provided by the Aurors will not last long, and if they let up, Astoria could be in danger at any time.

Secondly, staying in that manor house full of bad memories will definitely have a certain negative impact on Astoria's mood...... Even if the Blood Curse was now faintly on the verge of attacking, Jon wished that time had been postponed as late as possible.

As for going to the Isle of Man, it was all Jon's whim.

While investigating the giants on the West Coast, he suspected Voldemort of hiding them in the Isle of Man, which is located between Britain and Ireland, and later mentioned this day to Dumbledore.

As a famous tourist attraction in the UK, the scenery on the island is actually quite good, and such a trip may help Astoria recover from a bad mood.

So, Jon took Astoria to London and joined a Muggle tour to the Isle of Man.

They embarked on the journey without the help of any magical vehicle, just like a normal Muggle couple.

This avoids any possibility of being discovered by the Death Eaters, as any means of transportation in the wizarding world is recorded in the Ministry of Magic. And at this stage, it is clear to everyone that the Death Eaters have infiltrated the Ministry of Magic very deeply.

Especially after a few days ago, the Ministry of Magic, under heavy pressure, was forced to release seven notorious Death Eaters, including Bellatrix Lestrange, Lucius Malfoy, and Antonin Dolohov......

The aura of fear has enveloped the entire wizarding world.

It's not even the same as it was during the First Wizarding War!

......

Normally, the giant's trail is not difficult to find...... Their habits dictate that they like to venture deep into the mountains, and there are not many areas in this small island in the Irish Sea that can be called "mountains".

But with the help of wizards, especially powerful wizards like Tom Riddle, it's a different story.

Jon knew that the Dark Lord could easily hide the giants with spells so that Muggles and even wizards could not find out......

But Jon was also sure that any magic would leave a mark...... The Isle of Man is not small, but it is not too big......

At the Muggle Travel Agency, Jon had booked the island's "area" for a number of unique attractions, even if it was to "travel" and detect the traces left by magic.

Soon, they arrived at the Muggle inn they had agreed upon.

The hostess of the hostel, a chubby middle-aged woman, welcomed the two travelers warmly.

Astoria's attention, attracted by a white "Manx cat" on the counter...... The peculiarity of this type of cat is that they are completely tailless, with only a dent in the place of the tail of a normal cat.

After obtaining the owner's permission, Astoria happily squatted there and played with the little white cat.

Jon didn't bother her, but silently went through the process and gave her a few words...... Then, he returned to his hotel room alone.

Opening the suitcase, he retrieved the empty portrait that was a few points larger than the cross-section of the suitcase, which Jon hung on the wall next to him, drew his wand and tapped lightly on the frame.

"Principal Black......"

"Principal Phineas Black......"

"Phineas Nigelus Black!"

He shouted several times with different titles, and the old headmaster in the portrait was only too late.

"This is terrible!" Headmaster Phineas Black complained at Jon, "I was shaking all day, I was almost throwing up, and I couldn't stay in the portrait!"

"Sorry, Muggle liners are slow......" Jon explained as he silently complained about the seasickness of the portrait.

"Forget it, I don't need to explain, I forgive you!" Phineas Black shook his head a little helplessly, and then added:

"Tell me, what do you want me to bring to Dumbledore?"
