Basilisk, is its name.

It was almost a thousand years ago that the owner who created it: Salazar Slytherin, gave it its name.

"Basilisk", "Serpent King" or "Python", as wizards call it, and Basriskk knew that wizards were afraid of him, fearful of him, but he didn't care about it, because it had a mission.

Salazar Slytherin left behind a secret room before leaving Hogwarts Castle...... One of its duties is to keep its secrets until the return of the Slytherin heirs.
