A turnip field in the distance
It's also from a short story I read, I can't name the author, I think they can be worthy of the title of "master". I stole something from the master, a small text, and I hope he will not find out, and even if he did, the master would surely be able to forgive me, and it must be for the kind old man, with a wrinkled face and dull eyes, which will only shine the moment he picks up the pen.
The two children made a bet, and the girl asked the boy if he would grow turnips, and the boy instinctively said: yes. The bet was: The boy should grow a big, white turnip, like the turnip in the turnip field at the head of the village! If the girl loses, he will call the boy master, and if the boy loses, the girl will laugh at him. The boy took the seeds from the girl, but there was no land to plant, and the boy thought that the girl must have no place to plant the land at that time, so he cleverly found two soil frames, which were full of soil, and asked his mother, loosening the soil, burying the seeds, watering, and waiting.
The radish sprouted, he invited the girl, waiting to be called Master, the girl said that it had just sprouted, and it was not necessarily possible to grow a radish. When the wind pulled the radish seedlings inch by inch, the edges of the leaves were jagged, hairy thorns, and the radishes were growing well, and he invited the girl again, and the girl was very happy to see it, but she said: The radish seedlings are not green at all, and they cannot be compared with the radishes in the radish field in the village.
The boy was very disappointed, he also found out, he must admit, he wanted to go to the radish field to have a look, far away, the radish field is really green, he envied, closer and closer, he was surprised to find that the radish in the radish field is as green as the one he planted, he smiled and secretly said: It must be the radish seedlings are shy, just far away from it looked very green, walked in, they shy curled up together, he figured it out.
He didn't look for the girl, he had to wait for the radish to grow, and then he went to look for the girl when it grew to the thickness of his arm, but he forgot that the two boxes of soil were not enough at all, and he didn't pull out the excess seedlings, so the radish grew very thin, and he was very disappointed, and he came to the turnip field in the village again, and he was very envious, and for the girl's master, he stole four turnips, and he was chased for several miles.
When the turnip grew up, he went to look for the girl, and the girl came to their house, looked at the empty four turnip pits, and cried and said: You lie to me, there is no turnip at all. Then he ran home, and his mother came back in the evening, and added a meal and stewed turnips.
I'm not going to tell any story, because it's not mine, I'm talking about the cuteness of the boy, can the radish seedlings be shy? Of course not, the radish seedlings in the distance are green, and up close they look the same, they are not so green at all, and the little boy thinks very cutely that the radish seedlings are shy. And we don't bother to justify all this.
Look at a person from afar, everything is good, and you have an infinite desire for him, but when you approach him, there is a gap, and you don't want to think that you have been deceived, and you are more "cute" than that boy.
