Chapter 332: Hogsmeade's Gathering (Part 2)
To be honest, Mad-Eyed Moody's actions can be regarded as inspiring.
The news of Dolores Umbridge's appearance in front of the fourth-graders also quickly spread across the campus.
There was a lot of talk about it everywhere, so much so that every time Umbridge appeared in the hallway, he kept a calm face.
Many people don't say it on the surface, but behind the scenes, they often secretly laugh at her.
This also seems to have made the senior inspector irritable.
......
Fourth-year students don't have a lot of schoolwork, but it's easy for Jon......
Unfortunately, with Dumbledore's warning, the entire castle was under Umbridge's watch, and Jon hadn't been to the Room for the last few weeks, for fear of arousing suspicion.
However, there is a better option, and that is the Charms classroom.
When Jon asked Professor Flitwick if he could use the professor to connect the Flying Charm and the Expulsion Charm after class during a Charms class in the third week, Professor Flitwick generously agreed.
There were no portraits in the Charms classroom, so Umbridge's eyeliner couldn't care about what's going on inside.
In his after-school hours, Jon often came here to read books and practice spells and the like.
Jon didn't know if the Messian Trio had created the "Dumbledore Army", after all, the current Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher was not Umbridge...... But it had nothing to do with him, because another organization quietly invited him.
On a windy night at the end of September, while Jon was sitting in the library, looking up the ingredients for a potion, Draco Malfoy came with his two younger brothers.
"Kristoff, how was your time at school?" Malfoy greeted warmly.
"Hello, Draco...... It's been good!" Jon smiled and nodded at him.
Malfoy winked at Crabbe and Goyle, and the two chubby dubs walked to the intersection on either side to prevent others from approaching.
"You know, we're going to Hogsmeade on the first weekend of October!" Malfoy added, lowering his voice, "Hogsmeade is a small wizard-only village, and it's quiet and safe there. ”
"Over there, we're going to have a little party...... Its members are only a few of our friends...... "Malfoy continued:
"Under my persuasion, we recognized your excellent performance and pure bloodline...... So, we have always considered you to be reliable friends...... Eligible to join our organization!"
After a pause, Malfoy smiled at Jon:
"When the time comes, we welcome you to join!"
"I'm honored, Draco!" Jon nodded with a flattered expression, "And what about the exact time and place?"
"Nine o'clock in the morning, at the Three Broom Bars!" Malfoy patted Jon on the shoulder, "See you then!"
With that, he waved at Crabbe and Goyle, and all three of them quickly walked out of the library.
Jon was left there holding his chin and lost in thought.
......
As September passed, Dolores Umbridge, the senior inquisitor, had found out the results of his investigation of all the teachers at Hogwarts.
There is nothing wrong with the survey results of almost all the teachers, after all, the teachers at Hogwarts are not bad.
Except for one person, the divination teacher, Professor Sybil Trelawney, whose findings were "pending".
So, at the last divination class at the end of September -
"No!" Professor Trelawney, who saw the results of the investigation, screamed, her voice trembling with excitement, "I'm insulted!" insinuation...... Personality shaming...... Unfounded accusations ......"
She took a deep breath with a shudder, turned her face away, tears of anger welling up from under her glasses.
"Very excessive......," she choked up, "sixteen years of hard work...... Apparently no one is paying attention...... But I don't deserve to be insulted, I don't deserve to be treated like this!"
"But Professor, who's insulting you?" Theresa Baker of Ravenclaw asked timidly.
Trelawney choked up and did not reply, but wiped her wet cheek with the corner of her shawl, and at the same time pulled a small embroidered handkerchief from her sleeve and blew her nose vigorously.
"Is Professor Umbridge?" Teresa asked quietly.
"Don't mention that woman to me...... That demon...... That scumbag," Professor Trelawney screamed, "You're free to do this class!"
Then she hid under the trapdoor, in her little room...... I could only hear the faint sobbing sound coming from there.
Not many students felt sad for Trelawney...... After all, she wasn't a popular teacher.
However, many of the students looked at Jon in a strange way.
"Patrick's Prophecy ......"
"The sworn enemy of Professor Trelawney mentioned!"
"Is it really Professor Umbridge?"
They talked a lot.
......
The morning of the trip to Hogsmeade, it was sunny, but windy.
At breakfast, Jon receives a letter from a snow-white owl.
The letter was simple: "I'll be waiting for you in the morning at Madame Padifu's teahouse!"
Of course Jon knew who had sent the letter to him......
He looked at where Astoria was, and Astoria was looking at him.
Jon looked up and made a "later" gesture...... Astoria nodded slightly, signaling that she understood.
After breakfast, they lined up in front of Filch, who checked their names against the long list of classmates whose parents or guardians had allowed them to visit Hogsmeade.
Draco Malfoy and Jon rubbed shoulders.
"Good morning, Christopher!" Malfoy greeted him with a smile and lowered his voice, "Don't be late!"
"Understood!" Jon nodded, "I'll be on time!"
Malfoy was the first to take Crabbe and Goyle through Filch's inspection.
Jon fell into a brief thought—
At nine o'clock I went to the Death Eater Waiting, and then at ten o'clock I went to Lady Padiv's teahouse to find Astoria...... It seems that there is still time for it.
"What's the problem?" said Jon, as he watched Filch hold a speculum and sweep her up and down for a long time.
"Nothing!" Filch frowned, "I've had to be careful because someone has been trying to order eggs from the school lately!"
"Let's go......"
