Chapter 4 Wonderful Nightclub
Eventually, I was able to catch the bus.
After scanning the code on my phone, I held the railing and panted and exhaled heavily.
If I have money, I take a taxi every day, and I can go whenever I want. I was planning for the future in vain, completely ignoring the eyes of the uncles and aunts in the car looking up and down. Taking the bus to Bundi, I am really a low-carbon and environmentally friendly person.
With the bus carriage bobbing for a long time and without rhythm, I finally got off the bus near the terminal. Coming from the outskirts of the city to the city center was the first time I had been in the city. Compared to the old-fashioned and boring area where I live, I finally feel the vitality of youthfulness here.
The roads are still congested, but no one seems to care about the anxieties of these steel machines: the streets are lined with beautiful buildings of all kinds, sweet pink candy houses, haute couture shops with huge glass windows and bright lights, and watch shops with gold mechanical hands...... People on the pedestrian street walked in groups, well-dressed and stylish, laughing in a variety of tones but in unison.
I crossed the street and walked among many people, and I was one of them, and I had a heartless pleasure in some bright and green nights. But my sadness didn't make me feel out of place, I took my phone and followed the navigation through a food street and two alleys, stopping in front of an inconspicuous storefront.
It's a Japanese-style store, at least from the outside, with a narrow foyer inlaid with dim floor lamps, and an ukiyo-e-style curtain hanging in front of the porch, on which what appears to be auspicious clouds, but if you look closely, it is a nude beauty with a snake-tailed human head. There was a man dressed in black standing at the door, who was supposed to be a welcoming person, but no matter how you looked at it, he looked like a bodyguard.
When he saw me approaching, he showed a smile that didn't quite match his look, reached out and lifted the curtain, and spoke into the walkie-talkie, "A beautiful woman." ”
The world inside the curtain can be described as a unique world. As I walked down the narrow porch, I noticed a series of mythological images painted on the dark red walls on both sides, and even King Kong looked ambiguous under the warm red light. What's more special is that the floor of the porch is made of stainless steel glass, and people who walk by can see their own figure on the ground twisted by objects, like a sticky fish.
This place is kind of interesting. I pressed my hand to the edge of my skirt and walked through the porch, where the waiter in the bow tie was ready to greet me and led me deeper down. I didn't expect it to be so big inside, looking around, the first floor seems to be a huge disco bar, and the noisy electric sound waves come from one after another, which has the potential to turn over the river and the sea;
The waiter didn't speak, but led me with his hand to a large gate on the first floor, which was wrapped in some kind of leather and inlaid with crystal decorations that I don't know if it was real or not. The waiter pulled it open with his hand, and I could feel the weight of the door through his body language – a profession that could only be done if you had enough to eat.
A powerful force erupted at the moment the door opened, like the explosion scene of some mysterious biological weapon. The world suppressed by the soundproof sponge suddenly comes to life, the beat of the music chases the heartbeat, and the colorful spotlights shine through the dark dance floor, sweeping over the faces with flamboyant features.
The waiter took me around the dance floor and booths from the side to a bar farther away from the dance floor. I nodded to him, took the bartender's drink list, and ordered a glass of creamy Baileys. I love the mellow smell of Baileys in my throat and the sweet but not greasy Irish flavor.
"Miss, alone?" said the bartender, handing me the wine, and he took it upon himself to add a scoop of ice cream and a cherry on top. I don't care, though.
"Yes", I nodded in gratitude.
"Today we have an event, the admission of the ladies is free, and the beauties can go to play. "Against the backdrop of chaotic music, he struggled to speak.
I waved my hand, and the bartender was so amused that he stopped talking. Later, a few more men with bad intentions came to talk to me, but I coldly refused. My eyes stayed on the booth next to the dance floor, and I noticed a table on the left, where several men kept looking in my direction, and they frequently exchanged heads.
Then I'll be fishing with Mrs. Jiang. I picked up my glass, raised my hand in their direction, and then turned back. Sure enough, a moment later, the man who looked the most spacious at their table walked up to me and stuck next to me without leaving a trace.
"Beauty, alone, let's play together. "The smell of alcohol stuck to my hair as he spoke, and I ignored him.
"Give the beauty a cup of Robetta. When he saw that I was ignoring me, he beckoned to the bartender who was waiting.
"Why, I look like an aunt?" I laughed, ruffled my hair, and turned my face to look at him. This fancy dressed man looks like a bubble girl veteran, with a tin foil hot hair, full of conspicuous brand labels, and even the wine I ordered was Aunt Robetta's sweet color but hidden degree of "lost wine".
"Of course not, beauty with wine, who makes you look so good", he shook his head stupidly, put his hand on the bar, and seemingly inadvertently exposed the alligator leather watch on his wrist.
"It's sweet in my mouth," I said, pretending to be happy.
"I've been to this bar a lot, and I've never seen you. I thought you were an iceberg beauty, but I didn't expect it to look better when you smiled", he moved an inch closer to me, stopped the wine glass from the bar with his hand, and climbed my shoulder with the other hand. "We used to play together, and a few of my brothers are also there, so let's introduce them. ”
"Okay," I said, getting up from the high chair, grabbing off his ill-intentioned hand without a trace, and tucking my hair behind my ears again, "I'm looking forward to it." ”
