Chapter 28: The Quidditch Game

Since the attack on Lady Loris, Argus Filch, the caretaker of Hogwarts Castle, has become depressed.

He paced every day where Lady Loris had been killed, looking hostile at every passing student, especially the Slytherin students, who he thought might come again.

In a sense, Filch's instincts were correct.

The location of the secret room is actually in the innermost part of the corridor behind the attack site, in a guàn washroom with the word "malfunction" written on the door.

It was the washroom of the weeping Myrtle, the same victim of the Secret Room incident fifty years ago.

Every time he walked by, Jon felt a sense of panic...... It was as if a basilisk would come out of the back of this brass door at any moment, give him a mouthful, or turn him to stone.

What's more, the washroom is located right in the basement to the castle above...... This meant that he had to pass through it every day when he left the Hufflepuff common room and on his way back.

So much so that Jon was very cautious every time he passed by, and he didn't want to find a small group to go with, so he resolutely didn't pass by.

The "Hogwarts, a School History" in the library has been borrowed, and not every house will have a good teacher like Professor Sprout. And the low-key nature of Hufflepuff students doesn't spread the word about the Chamber of Secrets.

In Potions class, he heard Astoria say that two precious herbs had been stolen from Professor Snape's personal herb storage cabinet, and that it was likely the work of several students...... Snape is investigating the matter and has vowed to fire the thief.

It was undoubtedly the work of the trio, and Hermione Granger should have started to work on the Polyjuice Potion.

And Jon's configuration progress is half a month faster than her. The 12 lacewings have been boiled for two weeks, and it only takes another week to add 1 ounce of crude antimony and 4 leeches with mouthparts.

Jon thinks that his talent in potions is no weaker than Hermione's, and the environment of the Room of Requirement is obviously better than that of the Myrtle Bathroom, although he has taken a year less to study, but he is still very confident that he will successfully configure this potion.

......

It's another Saturday morning.

Jon had just woken up and was used to practicing Occlumency in bed.

Jon...... Wake up...... Wake up......"

The loud knock on the door almost startled him.

"Good morning, Zacharis!" he shouted angrily.

"Jon, hurry up...... Quidditch ...... At nine o'clock we played Ravenclaw and then at eleven it was Gryffindor against Slytherin...... We've got to get to cheer on Hufflepuff......" As he gasped for breath and finished speaking, Zachares-Smith began to run to another dorm room, calling for someone to go.

"So it's all Quidditch......" Jon lowered his voice and muttered to himself, "The next victim is about to appear." ”

Struggling to get out of bed, he put on his yellow coat and scarf that he had prepared, and walked out of the common room.

Then he found Hannah Abbott and Susan Bones and passed by the site where Mrs. Loris's attack was taken.

Having just arrived at the Quidditch pitch, he found that it was surrounded by a sea of yellow, black and turquoise. Hufflepuff students in yellow and black, and Ravenclaw students in blue and bronze.

Supporters of the two houses were separated on either side of the Quidditch pitch, cheering and shouting.

Ernie McMillan made a flag out of a discarded rag with a cheering badger painted on it. Ravenclaw did not show weakness, and the cyan and blue crowd formed the shape of an eagle.

"Come on, Cedric, you're the best......" Hannah shouted.

"Come on, Hufflepuff!"

The players from both teams had already entered the room, and Jon saw Cedric Diggory at the front of the yellow-black team, and the rest of the Hufflepuff players he didn't know much, presumably all of them were senior students.

There was also a familiar one in Ravenclaw, Cho-Chang, a girl with an Asian face, the last of the blue-blue team.

The players of both teams shook hands with each other and then lined up around the referee, Mrs. Hodge.

Madame Hodge blew her silver whistle vigorously.

Fifteen broomsticks rose from the ground and rose high into the sky, and the game began.

"The game begins...... The Quaffle was immediately snatched by Ravenclaw captain Roger Davis...... He darted all the way, dodging the Bludger and shaking off Cadwallad...... Is he going to hit the goal? No, no, Davis chose to pass the ball to Chambers and face the empty net...... Pretty...... Ravenclaw leads 10-0!"

When it comes to not commenting on Gryffindor or Slytherin games, Lee Jordan's commentary is fairly fair.

The cool breeze on Jon was a little drowsy, and to be honest, he wasn't interested in the sport of Quidditch in the slightest...... It's just that he was forcibly pulled over by this group of classmates. And he didn't want to be too unsociable, a little inconspicuous.

There was a one-sided affair on the pitch, with Ravenclaw's chasers scoring and Ravenclaw cheers on their side, while the Hufflepuff side faded into the mood.

Lee Jordan went on to explain: "At 130:20, Ravenclaw deserved to be the winner of the last Quidditch Cup, and they had an overwhelming advantage in just twenty minutes, and Hufflepuff was defenseless...... Wait......"

"Wait...... Snitch!Golden Snitch!Cedric Diggory...... He caught the Golden Snitch. Well done, Diggory, it's over!Hufflepuff finished the kill at 170:130!"

The stadium burst into cheers as countless Hufflepuff students burst onto the pitch to celebrate the "hard-won" victory with the players...... Professor Sprout was also rejoicing with her students.

Looking at the Ravenclaw players, the fans, and Professor Flitwick with the expressions on their faces like they had eaten, Jon suddenly felt that this game was a little interesting!

......

"Ladies and gentlemen, in twenty minutes, the Gryffindor vs. Slytherin match will begin......" Lee Jordan's voice echoed again on the Quidditch pitch.

Hufflepuff fans began to walk out of the Quidditch pitch as they celebrated. Gryffindor's cheerleaders, one group after another, walked in.

Jon saw a small team: Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Colin Creevey with a camera and Ginny Weasley with her head down...... He hurriedly dodged this "dangerous" squad.

In the stands, Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, the vice-principals who were not present at the previous game, have also arrived to watch the game.

Suddenly, Jon realizes something very important:

For more than an hour, the Savior Trio, Ginny Weasley, and Albus Dumbledore, who were controlled by Voldemort's mind, were not in the castle.

In other words, as long as he avoided Filch, wouldn't he be able to do whatever he wanted in the castle?

Just do it!

Jon directly rejected Zacharis, who wanted to drag him to the hall to celebrate.

"Sorry, I'll have to go back to the common room first and get something. ”

Hurtling back to the Hufflepuff common room, Jon grabbed a robe and a ballpoint pen from a drawer.

......

Three minutes later, Jon was seen in the hallway behind where Lady Loris had been killed, in front of the weeping Myrtle's bathroom.

The disciples of his Great Flesh Sect wore their faces tightly around their robes so that others could not see his face.

Grabbed the brass spherical handle and pushed the door open.

The floor was wet, and near the pool was a crucible with boiling liquid.

A few candle heads burned low on the holder, glowing dimly and eeriely on the floor...... It was dark and dreary, and under a large, stained, cracked mirror, you could see a stone pool with peeling surfaces.

At the innermost broken toilet, there was a faint cry, it should be myrtle.

"There is a living ......" Myrtle seemed to notice his presence and floated over: "It seems to be another boy ......"

"Go away, you ugly ghost!" Jon said unceremoniously, deliberately feigning a hoarse voice and being mean, "fat, ugly, crying, sullen ghost!"

"Woo......" Myrtle sobbed sadly and went back to her flush toilet, causing the whole bathroom to splash everywhere.

"By the way, and a face full of acne!"

With this heavy taunt, Myrtle screamed and angrily got into the toilet bowl and disappeared.

Jon breathed a sigh of relief, and he began to search beneath the pool.

Soon, he saw: on the side of a bronze dragon head, a small snake was engraved.

Jon took out his marker, and then suddenly froze.

No, if I had written here, and Voldemort possessed Miss Weasley to open the door, wouldn't I have found out all at once?

After a little thought and calm analysis, he had an idea.

After a few steps to the left, I came to a pool on the left side of the entrance to the chamber.

Bending down, he wrote the following line in an inconspicuous position below the pool:

"I'm Ginny Weasley,

I feel like I've opened the secret room,

And there's something controlling my mind,

The entrance to the chamber seems to be on the side of the brass faucet under the pool on the right.

You have to have a parseltongue to open,

Help me......"

The writing is small and inconspicuous, and the whole bathroom is extremely gray...... If you don't bend down and look closely, you won't see anything at all.

Clapping his hands, Jon left the bathroom.

He also wiped the doorknob and wiped the fingerprints he had left behind.
