Chapter 218: Umbridge's Wrath (Part 2)
The fourth-year Gryffindor students were already gathered in a group ten meters in front of Hagrid's hut.
Jon didn't see the pink toad, though.
"Will the Magical Beasts Conservation class still be held here?" someone asked, "After all, the teachers aren't Hagrid now?"
"I don't know...... But if we change the location of the class, the prefect should let us know in advance, right?"
"That's right, then let's wait!"
They're all talking.
Due to the strained relationship between the two houses, Slytherin and Gryffindor...... In front of Hagrid's hut, they stood in two distinct groups.
"That Rubeus Hagrid is terrible, he only became a teacher through the back door from Dumbledore!" Sean Avery still introduced Jon to Jon, "I think this new Umbridge can't be worse than him!"
Jon nodded on the surface, but in his heart he was thinking to himselfโ
What will Umbridge and the others do for them? Instead of exposing them to Fantastic Beasts, they will be asked to recite Newt Scamander's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them from beginning to end?
Just as he was thinking, a pink figure walked out of the castle in the distance.
......
A few minutes later, Dolores Umbridge had already walked up to them.
She wore the same fluffy pink cardigan she had worn the night before, with that black velvet bow on top of her head. This reminded Jon once again of a large fly landing on a toad.
The noisy crowd of people at Hagrid's hut immediately became quiet.
After all, no one knows if this new teacher is good or not
"Good afternoon, students!" After the class had stood in two rows, Umbridge said in a smack voice.
A few classmates muttered "good afternoon" in response.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk!" she shook her head, "That's not going to work...... I want you to answer, 'Good afternoon, Professor Umbridge. 'So please do it again......"
"Good afternoon, students!" Umbridge said a second time.
"Good afternoon, Professor Umbridge. They replied in unison.
"It doesn't seem loud enough...... You don't have to eat in the morning...... Giggle!" Umbridge shook her head again as she pursed her lips and smiled like a barbell.
"Good afternoon, students!" Umbridge said for the third time.
"Good afternoon, Professor Umbridge. Almost with all their might, they shouted.
"That's right...... It's not too difficult, isn't it?" she nodded with satisfaction: "I hope that every time we meet in the future, you can be as full of vigor and vitality as now!"
The Slytherin students next to them and some of the Gryffindor students on the other side exchanged glances, apparently noticing that the new teacher was not easy to deal with.
......
Professor Umbridge opened her handbag, pulled out a wand that was surprisingly short, and took a few steps forward.
Then, as if disgusted, she glanced at Hagrid's cabin, then took the perfume out of her bag and sprayed it vigorously on herself.
Everyone was a little dumbfounded and looked at everything in front of them.
"Ahem!" Umbridge cleared his throat before turning around, "Conservation of Magical Beasts class, I'm very unhappy with the progress of your teaching for this course. โ
โ...... It's hard to believe that in the past, your class was taught by a very dangerous half-blood giant, and I think Albus Dumbledore was quite irresponsible about it as a headmaster!"
"No, you're wrong, Hagrid is a good teacher!" shouted a red-haired girl in the Gryffindor group.
The Slytherins snickered, and several of the girls, led by Selwyn, covered their mouths, but Astoria didn't laugh.
"I think ......" Umbridge looked at the roster in his hand and looked at the red-haired girl very carefully, "I think you should be Miss Ginny Weasley, right?"
"That's right!" Ginny straightened up bravely.
"So, what does Arthur Weasley, from the Department of Magic's Department for Forbidden Muggle Supplies, have to do with you?" Umbridge continued.
"It's my father!" replied Ginny, frowning, a little puzzled.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk!" Umbridge let out a few more strange screams, then she took out a notepad and hissed something on it.
"What did you just say, Miss Weasley?" she asked, smiling.
"Hagrid is a good teacher!" repeated Ginny word for word.
"Miss Weasley, I think there are two mistakes in your words!" Umbridge's tone suddenly changed, no longer the girlish voice before, but the same aunty voice from last night's speech:
โ...... First of all, the Hagrid you mentioned is no longer at Hogwarts, and he is no longer a teacher, and the professor of Hogwarts' Conservation of Magical Beasts class is my ......"
โ...... Second, if you have read Miss Rita Skeeter's article published in the Daily Prophet last year, you should know that Rubeus Hagrid is a very dangerous half-man, half-beast, and you should not be fooled by the appearance of such a monster that could danger your safety at any time, and judge it as 'good......' at will."
Umbridge's voice was very serious, serious and terrifying. And in her words, there was a dislike and hatred for Hagrid.
Ginny Weasley looked a little shaky with anger, she looked straight at Umbridge and roared, "Hagrid is not a monster!"
"You're yelling at me, aren't you?" Professor Umbridge's face was expressionless, and from the look on his face, Jon thought she was going to be angry.
Ginny looked a little frightened.
Then she said in the gentlest and most suffocating little girl's voice, "Very well, Miss Weasley, dear ......."
Ginny was also obviously a little baffled.
Umbridge gently stroked her fiery red hair, "Please tell Minerva that you have to go to my office on Saturday night and be locked up!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she nudged Ginny.
Ginny looked frightened as she took a few steps back and ran towards the castle.
......
Dolores Umbridge's gaze turned back to the crowd: "So, let's start class!"
Then, with a wave of her wand, several scrolls appeared on the door panel of Hagrid's hut.
