Chapter 209: King's Cross Station (Part 3)

For the next month or so of the summer vacation, Jon Hart spent most of his time at the Leaky Cauldron.

Except for the occasional stroll around Diagon Alley.

If you look at the atmosphere from the outside world, everything is quiet, and there is no such terrible thing as Voldemort's comeback.

The front page of the Daily Prophet was full of trivialities...... For example, a celebrity's wedding, or Fudge's visit to the Ministry of Magic in a small country, or the Ministry of Magic importing a batch of cauldrons from a certain country......

It's as if the world can't find more important news than that.

Of course, Jon wasn't focused on the front page headlines, but on the small pages.

For example, he didn't find news in the Daily Prophet about Harry Potter's misuse of magic outside of school, his violation of the International Secrecy Act, and his final Wizengamot trial...... This proved that his guess was correct, and Umbridge did not dare to make a big fuss about it.

Also one day in early August, Jon noticed a small news in the newspaper: Percy Weasley had been promoted to personal assistant to Secretary for Magic Cornelius Fudge. It seems that the third eldest of the Weasley family still betrayed his family.

Also, in the newspapers, Harry Potter is mentioned once or twice a week. But it's not a big article, it's just a mention of him and a joke to cancel. When they mentioned Harry in the article, it seemed that he was such a fooled man who did everything possible to get attention to himself, thinking that he was a tragic hero or something.

The newspapers kept pretending to be casual about Harry's harsh comments.

When they come across an unfounded report, they'll say, 'Only Harry Potter made it up,' or something like that, and if somebody had a ridiculous accident or something, they'd say, 'I hope he doesn't get a scar on his forehead, or he'll ask us to worship him......

There is also quite a bit of writing about Dumbledore.

However, Dumbledore's prestige is here, after all, and the Ministry of Magic dares to say that he is old and confused, and does not dare to be as unreservedly dark as Harry Potter.

Fudge's strategy was successful in a sense -

Now whether it's Harry Potter or Albus Dumbledore, their reputations are almost ruined.

Jon was at breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron during this time, and every once in a while he heard someone talking about Harry and Dumbledore.

But they have all become derogatory, and when everyone mentions them, it is like mentioning two clowns...... Of course, there are people who will argue with them, and a quarrel will ensue......

Of course, it has nothing to do with Jon......

Since Dumbledore didn't care about that, he certainly didn't need to.

......

On the first of September, Jon arrived at King's Cross Station half an hour early, at half past ten.

As soon as he entered the station, Jon pushed his luggage and pretended to wander around the retaining wall between platforms 9 and 10, and when there was no one left, he leaned against the wall and crossed unnoticedly to platform nine and three-quarters.

The Hogwarts Express stopped there, belching white steam.

Jon grabbed his luggage and stepped onto the train, finding an empty compartment.

Lifting the luggage onto the shelves in the cubicle, Jon found a window seat and sat down.

At the same time, he began to observe the outside:

There were a lot of Hogwarts students on the platform, as well as their parents.

It didn't take long for Jon to see a lot of acquaintances.

Cedric Diggory and his father, Cedric, who wore a shiny emblem on his chest with the letters HB engraved on it, became the president of the boys' student council at Hogwarts.

and Zachares Smith and his mother, and Ernie McMillan and his parents, and Hannah Abbott and her grandpa......

It's a pity that Jon is now Christopher Patrick, not Jon Hart, so he can't greet them anymore.

......

It was close to eleven o'clock.

Harry Potter also came, and he came alone......

But Jon was sure that there must be members of the Order of the Phoenix around to protect him.

Sure enough, Jon soon noticed a pink-haired witch in the corner of the stands...... There was no doubt that she was Nymphadora Tonks! and she was certainly not the only one, but Jon was too lazy to keep looking.

The students and their parents avoided Harry when they saw him, and Harry looked confused.

It looks like he probably spent the whole summer on Privet Road and didn't go to Twelve Grimmauld Place, so he has no idea what happened this summer......

But soon Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger will tell him everything!

Jon soon saw Hermione and the Weasleys on the platform.

They were joined by Mad-Eye Moody, and a black dog almost the size of a bear.

The big black dog pounced on Harry enthusiastically, stood up on his two hind legs, and rested his front paws on Harry's shoulders...... But Mrs. Weasley arrived just in time to stop it from making any further moves, otherwise the man and the dog would have been enthusiastic in public.

Whenever he saw the big black dog, Jon thought of a lot of gold coins.

It is said that the bounty of Siris Black has risen to 10,000 Galleons, which is not a small amount of 12,000.

However, Blake seems to have become a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and at this time when the relationship between the Ministry of Magic and the Order of the Phoenix is tense, if he continues to report him, he may be killed by Dumbledore......

So after thinking about it, Jon gave up that impulse.

......

The whistle sounded to remind everyone to get on the train, and the students standing on the platform began to hurry to board the train.

The train started.

The figure in the stands gradually shrank, and only the big black dog ran after the window, its tail wagging incessantly.

The people who passed by on the platform laughed when they saw the dog chasing the train, and then the train turned a bend and the big black dog was gone.

On this year's school day, the weather seems to be good.

Looking out the window at the sky, Jon thought to himself...... You must know that on the way to Hogwarts in the first two years, there was heavy rain.

Lazily stretching, Jon suddenly realized that there was no one else in the room.

Should I stay in the same carriage with the Savior and go to school, Jon couldn't help but be stunned.

You must know that Harry and the others have only just started class, so they should not have found a place yet.

At this time, the door to the compartment was opened.

Three men barged in.
