Chapter 720: Something Under the Moon!
To the east of China's beautiful Inner Mongolia Plateau is the Songliao Plain of Heilongjiang, so what is the watershed between the two?
According to Li Baobai, a geologist in Northeast China, the watershed between the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the Songliao Plain is the Great Khing'an Mountains.
The Great Xing'an Mountains is the western component of the Xing'an Mountains, located in the northeast of Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is the watershed between the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the Songliao Plain.
From the bank of the Heilongjiang River in the north, to the upper valley of the Xilamulun River in the south, northeast-southwest direction, the total length is more than 1200 kilometers, the width is 200-300 kilometers, the altitude is 1100-1400 meters, and the main peak is Suoyueerji Mountain.
The Daxing'an Mountains is one of the important forestry bases in China. The main trees are Khing'an larch, Pinus sylvestris, Red spruce, birch, Mongolian oak, aspen, etc.
The topography of the Daxing'an Mountains is high in the west and low in the east, located at the eastern edge of the second ladder of the terrain, the junction of the second and third echelons, and the east of the ridge of the Daxing'an Mountains is the third terrace, and the west is the second terrace.
The formation of the Daxing'an Mountains landform has obvious asymmetrical morphology. The general topography of the whole area is northeast-southwest trending, and it belongs to the shallow hilly area.
High in the north, west, and center. The average altitude is 573 meters, the highest peak is Huanggangliang, the altitude is 2029 meters (the highest peak is the main peak of Yilhuli Mountain, Huzhong Dabai Mountain, 1528.7 meters above sea level), and the lowest altitude is 180 meters, which is Yanjiang Village, Sanka Township, Huma County.
The winter is cold and the summer is warm, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the annual average temperature is -2.8 °C, the lowest temperature is -52.3 °C, the frost-free period is 90-110 days, and the average annual precipitation is 746 mm, which is a cold temperate continental monsoon climate.
There are 7.3 million hectares of forest land in the Daxing'an Mountains, with a forest coverage rate of 74.1%, and there are more than 400 species of rare birds and beasts such as cold temperate red deer, reindeer, moose (Qianda rhino), sika deer, brown bear, sable, flying dragon, pheasant, stick chicken, swan, roe deer, elk (commonly known as four dislikes), wild boar, black chicken, snow hare, roe deer (dwarf deer, wild sheep) and other rare birds and beasts, and more than 1,000 species of wild plants, which have become a rare wild animal and plant paradise in China's high latitudes.
There are more than 20 large and small rivers flowing in the Daxing'an Mountains, such as the Gan River, Dobkul River, Naduli, Huma and Emur, and finally flow into the Heilongjiang River, the mother ---river of the border people.
Precious cold-water fish such as sturgeon, sturgeon, sturgeon, sturgeon, maha, and snow fish are abundant here. Attached: Songliao Plain, that is, the Northeast Plain, is the largest plain in China, covering an area of 350,000 square kilometers, including the three provinces of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and part of Inner Mongolia.
It consists of three parts: the Songnen Plain in the north, the Liaohe Plain in the south, and the Sanjiang Plain in the northeast.
