Chapter 61: Oblivion
Qiao Ming kept his eyes open until dawn.
Gou Rixin walked around the bedroom full of doubts, but found nothing. He jumped on Qiao Ming's bed and hesitated, "Don't you feel that something is wrong in the bedroom?"
"Nope. โ
โยทยทยท Don't you feel yin?"
"I don't think so. โ
"Where are you going today?"
"Hospital. โ
"To work?"
"Hmm. โ
"Are you alright?" Gou Rixin stared at Qiao Ming and said worriedly.
"It's fine. โ
The coldness in Qiao Ming's tone made Gou Rixin frown. He silently retracted into his nest, quietly observing the surroundings and Qiao Ming, who was scattered with yin energy.
There are six people in the dormitory, only the fourth and Qiao Ming go to the city hospital to prepare for an eight-month internship; the eldest child, the second child, and the third child want to continue their studies and choose to go to the second hospital to have clinical experience; Wen Xin decided to change careers and made a mistake to find the maternal and child hospital where his mother Qi Lanxi was treated, just to explore the path for the two unborn younger brothers.
After this year, the six of them will go their separate ways.
At seven o'clock in the morning, Lao Si and Qiao Ming set off to the city hospital to find the director of the science and education department to see the internship arrangement, as well as working hours and precautions. Next week, it's almost time to get to work.
On the bus, Qiao Ming looked out the window with an expressionless face. The fourth child hugged his mobile phone, giggling for a while, sighing for a while, and finally grabbed Qiao Ming's arm, and said with tears in his eyes: "Have you read the Zhihu column that the senior transferred, the twelve ward records that hit life and death." โ
"Looked. โ
"Hey, once I enter the hospital, it is as deep as the sea, our internship is basically a department for a month, and I am most afraid of going to the emergency department and ICU, the doctor-patient relationship is too terrifying. โ
"Hmm. โ
"What's wrong with you today, you're in a bad mood?" the fourth puzzled.
"It's not. Qiao Ming replied softly.
When I arrived at the hospital, a group of students were already standing at the door of the science and education department. A chubby supervisor arranged them into a conference room and waited for the meeting to begin.
The Science and Education Section is mainly responsible for organizing the interns to study medical ethics, medical style, code of conduct, and relevant systems of the hospital, and to do a good job in pre-job training. The supervisor's surname is Ma, and after introducing himself, he silently glanced at the interns present, "Everyone, you can take a notebook and write it down." The assessment will be held next week. โ
After a burst of rumbling bags, Director Ma cleared his throat and started the lecture from the establishment of the city hospital according to the T placed on the stage. An hour later, two "Intern Group Rotation Table" and "Internship Teaching Plan" appeared on the screen.
"Each intern is in a different department and needs to follow the teacher's arrangement. If there are any problems, you can write them in the internship report, and our science and education department will regularly check your internship completion, learning attitude, professional ethics, labor discipline, etc., and will report to the internship colleges and universities in a timely manner. โ
"The "Intern Group Rotation Form" will be sent to your personal system on campus, and after you print it, you hope to work hard in strict accordance with the group. โ
Coming out of the science and education department, the fourth child looked excited, held the Maitreya Buddha on his neck with his hands together, and made a wish: "A new life is about to begin, I only want world peace, don't let me overwork." What about you?"
"Same. โ
"You're really..."
"I have something to do and go first, you can go back by yourself. Qiao Ming interrupted the fourth child's words, and hurriedly returned to the building behind him, leaving the fourth child alone with a puzzled face.
Qiao Ming came to the corner of the corridor with a gloomy face, turned left to the bathroom, and there were two trash cans against the wall at the door. She frowned and raised her hand to open the lid of the trash can.
A pair of frightened eyes snapped over.
The gray-faced man curled up inside and shivered, and when he saw Qiao Ming's gloomy face, he suddenly jumped out of the trash can with a scream, and ran into the distance as if he was running away.
She hurried out.
When he came to a pond, Qiao Ming saw a panicked ghost policeman under the shade of the willows.
She approached with a blank face, and when the man saw her, he first looked panicked, and then hid vigilantly behind the trunk.
"Can you see me?" asked the ghost policeman.
"Hmm. โ
"You know me!"
"Hmm. โ
"Then you tell me," the ghost policeman suddenly stepped forward with an excited face, grabbing Qiao Ming's arm, "Why am I here, who am I, where is my home?"
Qiao Ming looked at the other party and asked, "You don't remember?"
"I... I just knew I couldn't be captured by impermanence, so I kept running away, and I remember that I thought I had been here, but why should I come here?" said the ghost policeman with a blank expression.
"Because you want to stay, your wife and children are here. โ
"Really?" said the ghost policeman, looking excited, "where are they? Can you take me there? Maybe I'll remember them as soon as I see them." He grabbed his head, his face growing painful, "I don't want to live another life like this. โ
"But they don't want to see you. โ
"Why?" said the ghost policeman with a stunned expression.
"Because you have forsaken them, and you have died, but she has been left alone to suffer, and she hates you. Qiao Ming replied with a gloomy face.
"No... No," the ghost cop shook his head in fear, "I didn't mean to leave them, I..."
"Of course you're not! You've been killed by a couple of outlaws, but so what? You're dead, you've abandoned your wife and your children, they've hated you, they've forgotten you, they've let someone else take your place. โ
"You're talking nonsense!" the ghost cop roared angrily, "they won't forget me, no, I'm going to find them." โ
"You go, but you don't even know who they are, how do you find them?" Qiao Ming approached the ghost policeman step by step, and said in a cold voice:
"Do you know why you don't remember, because they're forgetting you, and if you disappear in their memory, you will disappear with you. Do you think that black and white impermanence can't catch you? They are just watching your jokes, watching you hide like a clown in a filthy garbage heap like a clown for those who abandon and forget you. โ
"You!"
With a roar, Qiao Ming only felt a sudden sharp pain in her cheeks, which made her dizzy and fell to the ground. And the ghost policeman in front of him instantly had scarlet eyes, and his body exuded cold hatred. He stepped forward and grabbed Qiao Ming's collar, raised his fist and slammed it again.
Qiao Ming exclaimed in surprise, and subconsciously blocked his face with his arm. But the fist smashed into her arm like a hammer, knocking her out for a long distance. She was lying half on the brick fence of the pond, and her whole body hurt as if it were broken.
The ghost policeman, with a cold all over his body, reached out and grabbed her neck.
"Don't..." Qiao Ming's face was bloodshot, his throat was sore sharply, and he could only squeeze out a faint cry for help. And in her head, there was another voice, excitedly letting out a treacherous and unbridled laugh.
The ghost policeman's blue-gray hand stuck around Qiao Ming's neck like an iron tong, pressing the person into the pond little by little. His red eyes and pale face made him look hideous and terrifying.
"Save..." Qiao Ming clucked at the masonry at the edge of the pond, his joints almost twisted.
"You see that person is okay, right?" A couple not far away noticed Qiao Ming's strange appearance and hurriedly walked over, "Girl, girl?"
"Save..." Before he finished speaking, Qiao Ming plunged into the pond.
The icy water soaked the whole body, cold and suffocating. Qiao Mingyuan opened her eyes and didn't move, something suddenly pulled out of her body, she wowed, and her nasal cavity was instantly filled with pool water.
On the water, the evil spirit hung in the air, sneering at the hideous ghost policeman.
Qiao Ming, who was half-immersed in the water, suddenly came to his senses, waving his limbs and struggling. Until her hand touched a strong arm, she grabbed it like a life-saving straw.
After a while, lying on the brick fence by the pond, Qiao Ming kept spitting and coughing, and a pair of big hands on her back kept patting her back.
A strange roar suddenly sounded in his ears, Qiao Ming suddenly looked up, and saw the giant-like evil spirit forcing the ghost policeman back under the willow tree, opening his bloody mouth and pounced on him.
"Don'tโ" Qiao Ming screamed in fright, and reached forward with his hand, as if trying to grab something.
"Oops, why are your eyes bleeding!" suddenly someone around exclaimed.
His vision was gradually blurred by a scarlet in front of him, and Qiao Ming watched as the male policeman's soul became lighter and lighter, like a cloud of blood mist, which would disperse at the touch of it. She fell to her knees and lost consciousness in an instant.
