Chapter 65: Sit and Talk

The sake brought by Sato Takeshita has a pure taste, soft and refreshing, and it should be a premium sake.

Japanese sake was originally brewed by borrowing the brewing method of Chinese rice wine, and the alcohol content is the same as that of rice wine, generally only a dozen degrees. However, this wine has a lot of stamina. So, on the streets of Japan, it is not uncommon to see people coming out of izakaya drunk on the side of the road.

Huizi, who was sitting on the side, saw that several people had finished drinking, so he was ready to stand up and continue to pour wine for everyone.

At this moment, I saw clear and transparent sake suddenly gushing out of the bottle that was originally placed in front of her, and then divided into four streams, like a fountain, and slowly flowed into the wine glasses of Sato Takeshita, Li Jingwei and the other four.

For a while, the living room was full of wine, fresh and pleasant.

Since Sato Takeshita was so close to the bottle, after the sake in his glass was full, the trickle that had originally flowed to his glass slowly flowed back to the mouth of the bottle, merging with the sake flowing to Li Jingwei and the others.

Soon, Li Jingwei's wine glasses were also full. The three trickles slowly merge together and flow back into the bottle.

Seeing all this, the Hongmen disciples standing behind Tong Sihai and the others were even more stunned. The scene in front of them reminded them of the plot in a sci-fi blockbuster. At the same time, the worries in their hearts were even worse, they thought that this was made by the Japanese Sato Takeshita.

Even Keiko, who was sitting next to Sato Takeshita, had an arrogant look on her face, and she felt that such a clever approach must only be possible by her own master.

Tang Jifeng and Tong Sihai's cultivation was higher than that of Huizi and the others, but they felt that it was Li Jingwei pouring wine for a few people in the air.

Sato Takeshita is still silent on the surface, but there are already turbulent waves in his heart. With the hand that Li Jingwei showed just now, he can also do it, but he must not be able to do it so round and natural. This shows that, at least in terms of the control of strength, the young man in front of him is more clever.

Sato Takeshita speculated that with such a profound cultivation at such a young age, then Li Jingwei must be from a certain gate sect or a hidden family. It seems that today's challenge may not be smooth.

But he still has faith. On the way to martial arts, cultivating to a high level does not mean that you have rich actual combat experience. Judging from Li Jingwei's age, he must be inferior to himself in terms of actual combat experience. Therefore, at the time of the battle, it is not yet known who will win and who will lose.

Thinking of this, Sato Takeshita's mood calmed down again. He picked up the wine glass on the table, raised his glass to Li Jingwei and the others, and then drank it all.

"Li Sang's hand is really smart, admire!" Sato Takeshita said to Li Jingwei.

Huizi, who was sitting next to him, was shocked when he heard this. She always thought that Li Jingwei was just following Tang Jifeng and others to gain knowledge, but she didn't expect to have such skills. Although she couldn't see through Li Jingwei's cultivation before, she didn't think he was much smarter than herself. But now it seems that there is a world of difference compared to himself.

Liu Yuanshan and other Hongmen disciples heard Sato Takeshita say this, and they were a little confused for a while, but then they turned around and suddenly felt that their confidence was greatly increased, and their eyes at Li Jingwei were also full of admiration.

"Mr. Sato is overrated!" Li Jingwei replied lightly. He poured wine for a few people, which also responded to the old saying, 'Come and don't be rude.' ’

"I'm obsessed with martial arts, but I'm still just getting a glimpse of the way to martial arts. I want to ask Li Sang for some ideas. Sato said seriously.

When he spoke to Li Jingwei before, he always called him a 'young man', but now he has changed his words to 'Li Sang', indicating that he attaches great importance to Li Jingwei and has treated him as an equal.

Moreover, Sato Takeshita said that he wanted to 'consult' Li Jingwei, rather than communicate, which also shows that he is very honest and his pursuit of martial arts is relatively pure and persistent. In fact, after Sato Takeshita's mood was improved, he saw things outside of his body such as fame and fortune relatively lightly. He believes that there is no order in the practice of martial arts, and those who reach it come first.

However, in the eyes of the Hongmen disciples, Sato Takeshita's approach is still in line with the mentality of the Japanese who worship the strong. It is precisely because Li Jingwei has shown that he is more clever than him, so he said that he wanted to consult Li Jingwei.

Li Jingwei heard Sato Takeshita say this, and he admired it very much. Judging from age, this Sato Takeshita is Li Jingwei's elder. However, he was able to say the word "ask", but in this regard, most people simply cannot do it.

He didn't dare to hold it up at the moment, and said to Sato Takeshita respectfully: "I really don't dare to ask for advice!" Mr. Sato, but if you ask, I must know everything, and I will say everything. ”

Sato Takeshita thought for a moment and said, "I have always felt that martial arts practice is a lifetime of penance, and penance means loneliness. You are young, you are in the good times of your life, how can you endure loneliness?"

Sato Takeshita's words made Li Jingwei feel very surprised. If it was a few months ago, although he had been practicing Tai Chi for more than ten years, he never thought that he was practicing. Moreover, most of his energy is busy with study and scientific research, and he does not feel that his life is in a state of asceticism.

He smiled bitterly and replied truthfully, "Mr. Sato, you may find it a little hard to believe when you say it. I learned Tai Chi from my grandfather since I was a child, but for more than ten years, I never felt like I was practicing martial arts. ”

"It wasn't until more than two months ago that my grandfather was critically ill, I was in a hurry to rush back to Huaxia, and met Grandpa Tang at the airport. After that, I realized that I was unknowingly practicing Tai Chi. However, to this day, I still don't feel that cultivation is an ascetic practice. ”

"Even now, I am still busy with my work, and practicing Tai Chi Gong is still a regular exercise every morning. To be honest, I have never deliberately cultivated martial arts. So, you think that martial arts practice is a penance, but in fact, I have never experienced it. ”

When Li Jingwei said this, he spoke earnestly and briefly introduced his cultivation situation in a matter-of-fact manner.

Sato Takeshita can see that what Li Jingwei said is his true situation. However, this is completely different from his own experience. From the time he was a child, he was taught to focus on martial arts and not to indulge in worldly affairs. This made him a little dazed for a moment.

Seeing that Sato Takeshita seemed a little dazed, Li Jingwei continued: "In the past, I traveled around with my grandfather, and I had met some masters who practiced in the hidden world, and I also met people who practiced in the mortal world. Therefore, I think that the way of practice that may suit me is the best way. ”

In Li Jingwei's view, Sato Takeshita's life experience is far richer than himself. Therefore, Li Jingwei felt that it was impossible for him to teach him. In the process of communication, you can only be true to your own heart and say whatever you want. As for solving Sato Takeshita's doubts, he doesn't think he can do it yet.

"Hongchen is messy, how can you enter the WTO?" Sato Takeshita seemed to be muttering to himself, as if he was asking something.

"Throw a pebble into a calm lake and it will cause ripples, and the ripples can ripple across the entire lake. Eventually, however, the lake will remain calm. The lake is still a lake. Li Jingwei said, "If you don't experience the red dust, how can you know where your heart goes." Sometimes it's not about the red dust, it's about finding your own heart through the red dust. ”

"The Sutra of the Altar of the Six Patriarchs records a story about the Zen patriarch Huineng. During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, Huineng traveled to the Faxing Temple in Guangzhou. At that time, there was a wind blowing and the two monks arguing whether it was the wind or the flag. One monk said it was the wind, and the other said it was the flag. Huineng said, 'It's not the wind, it's not the flag, it's the benevolent's heart. 'Is it the external object that affects the practitioner's state of mind, or is the practitioner's mind restless and impure?'

"And what is the true heart of the cultivator?" asked Sato Takeshita again.

"Lao Tzu once said, 'Man is the law of the earth, the earth is the law of the sky, the heaven is the law of the Tao, and the Tao is the law of nature.'" 'I practice the way of Tai Chi, and what I pursue is the unity of heaven and man, that is, I hope to be able to live in the world in accordance with nature, mellow and accessible. Li Jingwei said.

He pondered for a moment, then continued, "However, each practitioner's pursuit may be different. Some people pursue invincibility and self-esteem in the world, some people pursue immortality and become immortals, and some people pursue self-reliance and help the world. However, these may not be the 'paths' that a practitioner should pursue, but they are just the goals of life that they want to achieve at a certain stage. ”

"What is the 'way'?" asked Takeshita Sato.

Frankly speaking, Li Jingwei also doesn't know what 'Tao' is. He once asked the old man Zhang Longcheng of Wudang about this question, but the old man only said his own experience, and did not clearly say what the 'Tao' was. Later, he also went to check some classics, but still did not have a clear answer. Perhaps, there is no clear answer in the first place.

However, through the study of these classics, Li Jingwei has some understanding of the 'Tao' and some understanding of his own pursuit. He pondered for a moment and said:

"There is a cloud in the "Qingjing Sutra", "Lao Jun said: The avenue is invisible, giving birth to the world, the avenue is ruthless, running the sun and the moon, the avenue is nameless, and all things are nourished for a long time; I don't know its name, and the strong name is called the Tao." Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching, 'Tao gives birth to one, life to two, and two to three.' Three begets and all things. So, judging from these texts, the Word gave birth to all things in heaven and earth. ”

"However, the Tao Te Ching also says, 'The Tao is the Tao, the very Tao, the name is famous, the very famous.' Therefore, the Word is an indescribable thing. I once asked a senior what is the Tao, and that senior told me, 'The Tao is the most virtuous, and there is no natural inaction.'" When I heard this, I felt that the scenery around me was completely new, and there was a sense of calm, tranquility and harmony in the midst of it. So, although I don't know what the Tao is, I know that this feeling is what I want. Later, I thought about it again and again, maybe what I was pursuing was the so-called 'unity of heaven and man'. ”

"Then how do you realize your own 'Tao'?" asked Sato Takeshita persistently.

"Everyone's understanding of the 'Dao' is different, let alone the way to realize the 'Dao'?" Li Jingwei replied, "'Zhou Yi' has clouds, 'the world has the same end but different paths, the same and a hundred considerations.'" It is also often said that there are three thousand avenues, and different paths lead to the same end. I think that everyone may have a different understanding of the Tao and may have a different way of pursuing their own Tao, but the essence of the ultimate Dao should be the same. ”

"Just as the Tao cannot be Tao, so the way in which it is possible to achieve the Tao is also not Tao. To realize one's own 'way' is to follow one's own heart, but this goes back to the beginning of the problem. So, I can't answer Mr. Sato's question. ”

Li Jingwei did not feel embarrassed or unnatural about not being able to answer Mr. Sato's question, but calmly told him. Knowing is knowing, not knowing is not knowing, and knowing is knowing.

Sato Takeshita pondered for a long time this time, and suddenly laughed: "I understand!"

When Li Jingwei heard this, he knew in his heart that Sato Takeshita didn't understand it at all. He just went from one whirlpool to another.

Immediately, Sato Takeshita stood up, flipped his palm upward, pointed to the martial arts arena in the courtyard and said, "Li San, please!"

Li Jingwei also stretched out his hand to make the same gesture and said, "Mr. Sato, please!"
