Interior decoration
Our Chinese medicine is remarkable, explaining the human body with the principles of wind and qi.
The earliest and most literary description of wind and qi is Zhuangzi, "a large piece of gas, whose name is wind". The wind is invisible, and when we walk in the wilderness and are surrounded by the wind, that is the feeling of the body. The wind blows a pool of spring water, and that is the response of the water. The wind is also silent, the sound we hear, the wind roaring, the cold wind swishing, the wind howling, it is the movement caused by the wind touching something, friction and collision. When the wind touches something real and imaginary, the sound it makes is different, some are like beating a drum, some are like a flute, some are like plucking the piano, and some are simple is the horn suona. Zhuangzi also invented a word called "blowing ten thousand", and all the various postures of all things in the world are "blown" by nature.
The wind harmonizes all things in the world. If it is harmonious, the wind and the sun will be beautiful, and the wind and rain will be smooth. When the wind encounters obstruction, the wind and clouds suddenly change, and there will be problems. Smaller problems such as typhoons, tornadoes, hurricanes, and sandstorms are carried with them. Big problems such as El Niño, La Niña, abnormal climate, early morning, heavy floods, scorching heat, and extremely cold. "Blowing 10,000" is the general environment, and the general environment cannot be controlled by manpower. Since the history of mankind, there has been no change in the general environment, the sun, moon and stars, wind and clouds, thunder and lightning, rivers and seas, basically the same as before, and the local problems in the middle are all bitter wine brewed by human beings. This can also confirm that the sentence "man will conquer the sky" is a lie.
Each of our bodies is a small earth, which can also be called a small universe. When a person gets up early and is busy at night, the earth is rotating day by day. Our body is controlled by the wind, and we are full of spirit, refreshed, full of spring breeze, and even swaggering, which is the normal form of the wind in the body. If the wind is not smooth, trouble will come. When the wind is blocked at the "hole", it will burp and fart. Wind stagnation on the meridians, rheumatism, rheumatoid, arthritis, including gout these symptoms appear, these are small troubles, "stroke" is complicated, not only the wind is not smooth, but the wind can not control the situation of the body. Dizziness, vertigo, and numbness in the limbs in the initial stage of stroke, and the consequences in the advanced stage are not to be said.
An old Chinese medicine doctor once told me two sentences, one is "If it is general, it will not hurt, and if it hurts, it will not work", which refers to the principle of wind in the body. The other sentence is "If you are sick or not, you will be able to prevent wind and pass the saint", "and the wind and the holy pill" is an old prescription, and now it is a Chinese patent medicine, which is very common and cheap, and you can give a big bag for two or three yuan. The medicine is ordinary, but the effect is magical, there is a disease to cure the disease, and there is no disease to regulate the body.
Wind and qi are not only physical, but also psychological. Joy, anger and sorrow are physical, but they are entangled with psychology. Peace of mind, clear heart, is also this meaning. Physiology and psychology are the foundation of "consciousness", and it is okay to say that it is the foundation. The common name for consciousness is thought. How many "distracting thoughts" does a person have to give birth to in a day from the first thought he thinks when he wakes up in the morning to the last thought before he falls asleep at night (excluding "dreams")? Active, forced, subconscious, and subconscious, I am afraid that it is inconvenient for even careful people to count. These thoughts are strung together, day after day, year after year, what do people live all their lives, is to live these thoughts. All thoughts are discouraged to describe a person who has lived enough and is bored. Therefore, Confucianism emphasizes the clarity of the mind and self-cultivation. Taoism not only cultivates the mind, but also cultivates the body and bones. Both Confucianism and Taoism revolve around a person's "ten thousand thoughts" to cultivate, to extract the essence from the rough, and to retain the false and the true.
Self-cultivation is the interior decoration, but the interior decoration is in place, but also to do something, a physically and mentally healthy person, if a lifetime of inaction, should be the biggest regret.
