129 Female mages awaiting trial
The Blasphemer Paradise in the Sea of Faith has a total of ten justices. Under normal circumstances, the vast majority of the ten justices are asleep. If five or more justices are awake at the same time, then there will be a great trial.
When Catherine escaped from the Soul Illusion, the Illusion Sun glowed brightly and vanished. This light illuminated every corner of the Blasphemer's Paradise, causing the four sleeping justices to be unexpectedly awakened. Together with the other two justices on duty, they formed a blasphemous court and convened a grand trial.
The process of the Great Trial was long and tedious, and Catherine lined up in an endless queue, slowly moving along the procession. She remembers that as soon as she crawled out of the Soul Illusion, she was arrested by a group of eccentric green monkeys and escorted to a queue for trial.
The members of the queue are strange, some of them are in the form of animals, some are in the form of plants and even objects. For example, the guy in front of the female mage is a wooden wheel with a diameter of almost a meter, and a mouth grows in the axle hole of the wheel, which is constantly sighing and annoying, and behind the female mage is a yellow moon flower, which has two slender legs, and follows Catherine step by step.
Catherine tried to escape from the group, but she made an unsuccessful attempt when she saw a magpie in front of her, apparently in the same way as her.
The magpie was snow-white and rode on a red mouse. The magpie chirped and shouted, driving the rats below them away from the group. But before it could run ten meters away, seven or eight green monkeys jumped out of the darkness and pressed down on the escapee. The poor magpie was crushed on the spot, and the green monkeys happily ate the magpie raw, not even the mount mouse.
Catherine looked a little disgusted, but she also dismissed the idea of escaping. It turned out that she did it right, and during the queue, there were always unwilling guys trying to escape. But each time they were beaten to death by the green monkeys that came out of nowhere, and then they were eaten clean.
In this way, the female mage slowly moved forward in the procession. It didn't take long for her to see a huge structure appear in front of her. The majestic structure is probably several kilometers high, and is in the form of an inverted tetrahedron that pokes into the ground by a top corner. The front of the line went all the way to the bottom of the building, where there was a door that devoured everyone who walked there in a flash.
Catherine didn't know what to expect in that strange building. But she remembered that when she was on the sea, the divine messenger Sigurt had put a great judgment on her. Thus Catherine's logic inferred that that it might be the place where the trial was executed.
The mage became more and more patient, and now that the judgment was coming, it meant that she would be able to leave this place soon. Although she did not know what the outcome of a so-called trial would bring her.
When Catherine walked into the tetrahedron, she was first shocked by the stands that were so high on three sides that she could not see the top floor. The stands were filled with strange spectators, who watched everyone as if they were watching a play.
The female mage did not like this feeling, because she felt like a clown in a circus ready to perform, for entertainment and ridicule. For a long time, Catherine was more accustomed to sitting in the audience than to participating in the show herself. The encounter in the soul illusion didn't bring her any fun.
Luckily, Catherine didn't really need to act. In the open space surrounded by the stands, there are a total of six boxy boxes. The people who entered the building were driven by several green monkeys into six small teams, one by one into the six large boxes.
The so-called big box is actually a house without windows. They don't have any texture, they're smooth and weird, and they're all dark tones of black or blue, side by side. Each large box has a door on it, and the shape of the door varies, long, round, irregular, curved, large or small, wide and narrow, tall and short. When the green monkeys are assigned teams, they are obviously selected according to their size.
Catherine was of average stature, and she was in front of a large box with a narrow and elongated portal. However, this door was not the most suitable for a female mage, and she had to lean sideways to enter. However, Catherine found that this seemed to have been deliberately arranged, as she had been placed in front of another wide portal, and when it was about to be her turn, she was brought back to her current line by a green monkey.
The female mage hadn't seen this arrangement in anyone else, so she was a little curious, intending to see what was in the box. But just then, there was a riot in the stands, and the top-down riot poured down like an avalanche. The audience shouted and made a mess.
The green monkeys, who were originally maintaining order, seemed to have received some orders. They jumped out of the darkness and all swarmed towards the top of the stands.
The waiters in line in front of the big box did not expect this kind of change. They spontaneously stopped and stopped walking into the big box. They were waiting.
The chaos above the stands was clearly visible below, and a dragon had appeared out of nowhere, wreaking havoc in the sky. The waiters whispered, and suddenly two of them climbed straight into the audience and disappeared into the crowd.
There were no green monkeys to stop it, it was like a signal, and the waiters "hula" and scattered in all directions, and they all crawled to the stands.
From outside, new personnel continued to walk in, but they only took a few glances at the chaotic situation and fled one after another. In front of the six large boxes, Catherine was the only one left standing there.
The mage hesitated, unable to weigh whether to run away or go into the big box. The escape seemed obvious, but after escaping, Catherine was unsure of what she was going to do next. In this unfamiliar environment, the female mage did not have a very good countermeasure. And it is probably dangerous to enter the big box, otherwise not everyone will escape.
"Oh, oh, my dear female disciple, are you waiting for me?" and as Catherine pondered, a voice that was annoying and familiar to her rang out.
"Boom" A huge figure fell in front of the female mage, a large bear that was only half as tall as her. The bear was holding a carpentry hammer in his hand, looking a little silly.
"How did you become so stupid?" Catherine recognized the visitor from the words.
"It's a long story, my female disciple. Bear hit his head twice with a hammer, "I'm glad we met again." ”
